Li'riya Con: 10
Ka'ralya Con: 15
Ka'ralya gives anyone who passes out, including her granddaughter, a disdainful look and turns to the chief. "What is the meaning of this?" she asks coldly.
”Mama?” Bell coos quietly to the unconscious tiefling, then looks over to Li’riya just before she falls under as well. She shoots a look at the chief when Ka’ralya asks her question, casting Zone of Truth around the table.

Surprisingly quickly, about forty warriors with sharp spears surround you, one pointing a tip deep into the neck of Camilla, who has a sick unconscious look on her face. The point press generates a slow trickle of blood that rolls down her neck.
Barking Seal speaks, "We are the guardians of Arauthator. We protect his cave, lest he devour us whole. We do not oppose him, nor do we or the Great one want visitors. However, he will be pleased we have taken you prisoner - he will eat you instead of us, or freeze you into the walls of his cave. Come, we will lead you now to the entrance and the last known position of the horned one you seek. Even if you find her, you will not last long against the Ancient One."
A villager pushes the spear tip deeper into Camilla's neck, who moans weakly at the pain. Barking Seal finally says, "Try to escape, cast spells, or fight back, and this one dies."
Inside the hut of the shaman Bonecarver, old furs heaped atop poles are laid across an opening leading down to the ice caves. Steps are cut into the wall of the chute, creating steep, icy stairs that drop down 100 feet in a tight spiral. The chute and its icy stairs end at the ceiling. A sturdy ladder then descends into the approximate center of a rectangular chamber. The exit to the corridor is an icy, 15-foot-wide passageway sloping downward. The chamber is empty except for a dozen baskets woven from leather strips and walrus ribs, stacked in the north corner. The ladder is removed by the Ice Hunters effectively trapping you inside the caves.
You are currently in AREA 1 with a couple of unconscious team members.
Camilla groans and slowly wakes up. She coughs and vomits in the corner.
"Uggchhch.."she moans, slowly sitting up. "Guess we can add fish to that list."she mumbled to herself, then looked around. "Where are we?"
As Edward is escorted into the caves he has the biggest stupid grin on his face. Obviously having had a very good time with the Champion. As they are around Edward let’s out a sigh and says, “I think I’m in love.”
No, they're variations in elevation, not the tempurature. There are definately other beings dwelling in this maze of carved iceberg. With its caverns carved out of the glacial depths of the iceberg, every surface in Oyaviggaton is made of ice. Most passages in the ice caves are at least 15 feet wide, and ceilings are 20 feet high unless noted otherwise. The walls are intricately carved with draconic imagery, pillars, cornices, filigrees, buttresses, leering dragon faces, and other decorative flourishes. The floors inside the iceberg are worn glass-smooth from decades of traffic. There are no stairs inside the iceberg; the floor slopes between areas of different elevation. The interior of Oyaviggaton is filled with dim light by whale-oil lamps that dot the walls. Who is refilling these?
The ice caverns are cold, with the temperature in most chambers hovering around 20 degrees Fahrenheit. A deep, menacing, earth shaking voice can be heard throughout the cavern addressing you all as you move towards AREA 7. It feels you all with a sense of dread. Clearly, something very powerful has made it's home here.
"I SENSE INTRUDERS. I CAN FEEL YOUR WARMTH. I AM ARAUTHATOR. I WELCOME YOU ALL TO OYAVIGGATON. I INVITE YOU TO SPREAD YOURSELF OUT IN THE DEPTHS OF MY ICY DOMAIN. COME. ONE OF MY MANY WILL BE THERE TO HELP YOU BEFORE LONG."
AREA 7 - THE HALL OF GIANTS
As you peer into this chamber, the room is extremely foggy. As you slowly walk in, the bodies of some of the frost giants Arauthator has fought and killed over the centuries are on display in this chamber, frozen into crystal-clear ice walls. The giants are dead and frozen, and you can see their torn armor and the awful claw wounds in its pale blue flesh. The hall displays the bodies of eight frost giants, one fire giant, and one cloud giant. There are about eight kobolds polishing the giants when you can see them through the fog, and they all startled when they are seen, and run off.
"BEHOLD THE FATE OF THOSE WHO BRAVED OYAVIGGATON. I WILL TEAR AT YOUR FLESH WITH NO THOUGHT OF COMPASSION. DO YOU THINK I WILL SIT IDLY WHILE YOUR VERY PRESENCE CORRUPTS AND TAINTS MY HOME?"
A bizarre sight greets you in this rough-walled chamber. About a dozen giant toads with thick, mottled white hides are at work here, inscribing strange writing into the ice of the walls, or onto weathered parchment and stone tablets. A few toads transfer parchments and tablets into and out of floor-to-ceiling cubbyholes cut into the ice along the entire southern wall. A total of 11 ice toads are working in this chamber, inscribing records and tallies into the ice using sharpened antlers or their own claws.
They stop their work and look at you, but do not attack. They appear to be, for a lack of a better word, bookkeepers, secretaries, or record keepers.
Astrid bows deeply (which for her is like 6”) and introduces herself to the toads in common: “Good morning my fellow linguists! Indubitably fascinating to meet beings of your talent in a frigid place like this!”

Li'riya groans. "Ouch." she groans, slowly sitting up. "What..."
"You succumbed to a poison in the tribe's food, and we are now in a dragon cave." Ka'ralya says coldly.

"Hell, just when I thought it couldn't possibly get any colder." Camilla said, urging Astrid, and the group, to move on.
"C'mon, let's get going." And Messalina will lead the team to Area 7, keeping Camilla close in an effort to keep her from freezing.

OOC: Are those temperature measurements on the map? Are we about to go below zero?
Quite weary, Astrid stops and listens intently down the halls, trying to see if she can tell if there are others in this area.
