Knok returns to the group gathered near the booth. "Messenger Krusk says we need to find out who the booth vendor's master is, and where the booth vendor's master is. Messenger Krusk says it's urgent. How do we talk to the vendor? Maybe say we're interested in something other than pots and bowls?"

"Well," Jonathan nods towards the crates being swapped. "Perhaps we can enquire about the fresh stock? Or perhaps follow those two to see where they're off to."
A slight rumble can be felt as the air cools with the impending rain that's forming out to the west over the cliffs. Some of the gathered crowd moves to find indoor venues to hold their events. There are still a large number of people in the streets showing little regard for the threat of rain. You notice that several of the booths begin to apply canopies to their booth to make sure the wares stay dry. Some of the finer quality booths begin to actually store some of the goods away in nearby crates to protect them from the elements.
Watching the merchant just go about their business and having people buy their products puts Eira on edge. She bounces from one foot to the other, looking around nervously and picking at her nails. At the sight of the red dust, she bites her thumb nail. "A-are we going to do something? M-maybe some of us s-should follow those w-workers. W-what if it's like an, uh, o-organisation that's p-planning this and not just t-that one m-merchant? A-and the o-others should go to the, um, a-alley and see w-what the r-red dust is?"
Jonathan nods. "Finally gives me a chance to stop lingering here in the rain." He says. "Come on, let's see where those two are off to." He gestures for a few of the group to follow him, whilst trying to keep himself as dry as possible.
(Shall we Stealth our way through the streets, or something else?)
Jonathan would never think of being a thief or smuggler, so hasn't had to tail like this before. He attempts to keep towards areas that help hide his tall and broad frame.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Following workers seems like the best idea. Maybe they lead us to the one responsible, we bash their heads in and can finally enjoy the festival." Tanni follows after Quentin. She hopes her small frame helps her to compensate for her lack of experience when it comes to sneaking around.
Seeing as most of the others are following the workers, Eira turns to the alleyway. "I-I'll go c-check out the, um, a-aalleyway. Hopefully Quentin is a-alright."
Eira splits from the group and heads toward the alley the others have went into with the crate.
Knok, Tanni, and Jonathan begin to follow behind the workers at a safe distance. They slip into the crowd and do their best to not bring notice to themselves. They watch the workers look toward the main square before taking a turn down sidestreet with the crate in hand. The crowd isn't as large in the side street and you notice that a lot of the people here seem to be locals going about their daily lives. You spot a few locals that have setup tables and are attempting to sell grossly inferior goods than what's being offered on the main road. It is the best they can do though and are trying to earn a bit of coin if able.
Further down the road, you spot several halflings standing around a table made out of a few crates stacked up. They look to be playing cards and having a few drinks. They're rather rowdy in their enjoyment but that excitement wains a bit when they spot the workers and the crate being walked down the street.
I have updated the campaign notes a bit more with the locations/landmarks of the region to make things a bit clear. I'll keep it updated as you discover more. LINK
Also, some of you may notice new things on your character sheets. PM me if you have questions.
The workers continue walking until they reach the small gathering of halflings playing a game of cards. They exchange a brief conversation and the halfling motions for the workers to move around to the back of the building. The group of halflings move with them with the exception of the halfling that gave the order. He remains seated on top of the crates shuffling the deck of cards.
"We know where the crates come from," Knok says, whispering. "Maybe we get all of our friends, and we all find out who and what is in there?," he says, gesturing at the building with his chin.

Standing in the small side street, the group ponders what they are to do next. Should they try and see what was delivered to the halfings or should they go back and try and find the others? Or, is there something else that needs to be completed?

"Perhaps," Jonathan nods. "Looks like they're just chancing for their friend's pay at the moment, let's leave them be for the moment."
After a moment, you watch the two workers return empty handed from the side of the building and begin to make their way back to the town square.

Think we're going to head back and fill in the others as to what we saw.
(Just to note I'm out of town again this weekend, only until Monday this time, not a full week.)
