Kastix incinerates half the bridal party and Kaylyn makes the other half glow softly as Rhayna approaches the bower and, blushing, takes her place beside the bewildered Zeno. Several of the spore servants maneuver themselves to fills the positions that would have been taken by the bridesmaids, while others move closer to the visitors to more effectively 'persuade' them to join their throng.

With the bridal party mostly assembled (what's left of it) and the bride and groom in their place, the singing from the remaining fungoids once more intensifies as the empty air to the west of the bower starts to shimmer. The Great Seeder comes! goes the cry from the throng, echoed in the spore telepathy from the myconids. The True Bride graces us with her presence! Hail the Lady! In the shimmering air a tall slender form starts to take shape, and in a moment the horrific demonic presence of the new arrival washes over all.

The figure is arrayed in a long flowing garment woven from slender strands of pale lichen, which is heavily overlain with sequins of white mold which glisten like a starry sky, and looks in every way like a vestal bride. A long mycelial train extends behind her, and a sheer veil of lichen covers her face, but the two glowing red points that represent eyes stab through the veil like tiny angry twin suns. The voice that is heard next is soft and feminine but at the same time as deep as the infinite Abyss, as she officiates in the rehearsal of her own future nuptials...

Then Pax raises another magical shield as the pincer monsters try to grab her.  (+2 arcane ward hps) 

She looks around at the wedding going on around them, "Oh, don't mind us!  You just keep gettin married....wait till they get to the objections part though!!! Zeno is not good enough for you Rhayna!"

Sekkar giggled, and not even trying to free himself said: "I can do it too, look!"

Ensnaring Strike on Chuul (Str DC14 for save)

He attacked the clawed monster Attack: 25 Damage: 14 (+ 3 if spell landed

but then turned and tried to reach the one behind him - Quaggoth clawing Kastix: Attack: 29 Damage: 17

Pax: S9 dies from the cold damage. <sigh> How many spells slots you got left?

Sekkar: Faerie Fire gives advantage on attacks against affected creatures, so Sekkar can roll again for the attack on the Chuul (currently a miss). And Ensnaring Strike isn't cast at any creature, it just affects the first creature you hit (which at the moment is the low-health quaggoth). The outcome shouldn't affect Pax or Zeno though, so I'll continue with the proceedings.

One of the the large fungoids moves in behind Rhayna and Zeno. The other two move around the southern edge of the wedding party.

Pax glances at this wedding that is somehow taking place despite the fierce combat all around.  Well....this won't stand....  she turns and runs away from the creatures near her (AoO away), rushing behind and around to get to the person running the wedding, charging at her and letting loose two Eldritch blast's at her.  (movement, up 1, and left 4 squares so she's not in melee with anyone)

Zeno coughs and heaves as he comes through the cloud around Yestabrod, but continues making his way over to the bower.  He stares flabbergasted as the myconid people start talking about marriage and Rhayna.  His mouth opens and closes several times like a gasping fish, he blushes for a moment, then his head is shaking. “Wait,..WHAT!?!”

Then Zuggtmoy appeared.  Zeno’s eyes went wide and he began looking around wildly.  He yelled at Rhayna, “We have to get out of here! It’s all gonna collapse!”  He tugs at her arm, and if she doesn’t come, he will try to shake her out of it.

(No attack this round, using action to shake Rhayna out of whatever state she’s in. If that works, he will run away, using Bonus Action to disengage.)

As Pax flees the scary spore monsters, two of them take a swipe at her.

Pax positions herself to better see the demon queen and fires off two blasts, but one flies wide and the other strikes the edge of the mushroom bower. The smaller fungal creatures from Rhayna's bridal party respond to Pax's attack on the celebrant, stepping through the larger fungoid to converge on Pax. They too send jets of spores at Pax, that have a somewhat psychadelic effect like that of eating a strange toadstool.

Pax: Make three DC 10 CON saves or become poisoned and incapacitated for 1 minute.

Zeno does his best to snap Rhayna from her delusion, but to his surprise she turns to him with an uncharacteristic look of malice and swings her whip at him.

Rhayna: Make a whip attack against Zeno.

The nearby myconids don't take too kindly to Zeno's reluctance to complete his nuptials, and they crowd around him, projecting green jets of spores at him that seem to have a pacifying effect on him.

Zeno: Make three DC 11 CON saves or be stunned for 1 minute.

As Zeno tries to shake Rhayna off her delusion, Rhayna sees that Zeno is trying to kiss her right in front of the wedding party. She is a little confused that the Half-Elf would try to kiss her so forcefully, so she slaps at his face.

"Zeno!! Dear beloved, you must be patient. We must first finish the ceremony before we can consume our marriage..." She says forcefully, but she regrets that she raised her hand to her future husband to be.

Kaylyn weaves a Hex on the nearest Chuul (S11) that affects its DEX and sends 2 blasts of Eldritch energy at it.

Meanwhile Pensive starts flashing images to Rhayna of her free and single.  He sends emotions that Zeno is terrible and she doesn't want to be near him.

Sekkar: Yes, sorry, that Quaggoth is already dead.
Kastix: I'll change your toll to S4, unless you prefer another target. DEX WIS save: 9 (should be -2 instead of +2, but 16 is still a pass)

Kaylyn curses the land-lobster and then blasts it with twin bolts of energy, causing it to leak more smelly fluid and the surrounding flesh to canker. The sound of the gong fills the air, but the spore-creature seems unaffected by the noise.

The demon turns its gaze to Pax and an infernal voice speaks into Pax's mind. INSOLENT MORTAL! YOUR CORPSE SHALL NOURISH MY GARDEN. As the demon moves away from the bower, a cloud of purple-coloured spores bursts out from its body, and a wave of euphoria washes over the entire area. Two of the spore servants move to surround Pax but make no further attacks, while the chull moves to attack Pax again, and two others continue to harass Sekkar and Kaylyn.

Zeno/Sekkar/Pax: Make a DC 19 WIS save.
