Pensive launches forward flying 60 feet ahead to keep the fleeing drow within 100 feet.  He barrages one of them with rapids emotion changes to help Kaylyn as she lines that one up for 2 beams of Eldritch Blast.

Zeno takes off after the drow, stowing the crossbow as he runs.  (Use Move, Action, Bonus Action to dash after the fleeing drow as far as he can.) He calls out to Pax as he runs past, “Pax, after them.  Don’t let them escape!”

Zeno sprints after the fleeing drow, hurdling over the dead mage and catching up to the nearest ones. Kastix's spell fires, and the drow turns momentarily to search for enemies, but seems to recognise its companions and repeats to them the urge to flee while it stays to fight, and turns to attack Zeno. The others continue to flee, but two arcane bolts from Kaylyn slam into the back of one, sending it sprawling to the cavern floor.

Sekkar has fought the drow more than once, but this one seems like a seasoned warrior. It expertly ducks and weaves, fending off his sword-strokes and keeping an eye on the others nearby. It seems to know that it can't prevent all the surfacers at once though, as Zeno is the first to take off.

The creature at the rear lingers for a moment longer. Perhaps is Rhayna's exhortation, or just its fear of the light, but it finally turns and flaps off back down the tunnel.

Kastix takes his staff and seem to strike the air with it as he cast Toll the Dead on the Elite in melee with Sekkar.

Sekkar just continued his attacks on Elite drow - some ought to land eventually, and even if not, at least the drow was busy with him and not attacking others.

The drow elite warrior laughs at Sekkar and Kastix, spouting some praises for his mistress and how she will capture them and they will serve Lolth for the rest of their lives.

(Oops, sorry I missed an action....Pax looks at Zeno, then at the two drow that are yet not pursued...and turns and chases after one of them like a blur, moving 120 feet to catch up to one in a blur, and then swings her sword at it, sheathing the blade in booming energy so that if it keeps fleeing it takes extra damage : 

Attack: 16 Damage: 8 + 5 thunder.   If it keeps moving it takes an extra 10 thunder damage.

 (First action, move + dash for 120 feet of movement to catch up to Drow. Second action, attack.)

Pensive continues to fly forward keeping the fleeing drow within 100 feet. The barrage of rapid emotions also continue to help Kaylyn as she lines one up for 2 beams of Eldritch Blast.

Additionally Kaylyn also moves forward 30 feet but stays clear of the drow elite so as not to engage in melee or to give an opportunity for attack.

Seeing the last of his fellows fall under spell and sword, the drow elite turns his pupil-less white eyes once more to Sekkar. Still fending off Sekkar's attacks, the drow hisses at the ranger in the dark dialect of elvish, and although Sekkar doesn't understand the words, he feels the hatred and venom behind them:

Cŵn sy'n byw ar yr wyneb. Nid ydych yn deilwng i lyfu traed fy arglwyddes. Mae hi'n tynnu'n agosach trwy'r amser. Brenhines y Corynnod, ewch â fi!

And with that the warrior spins his sword around and stabs it into his own abdomen, and then quickly pulls it out and with another sweep slashes his own throat.

Silence returns to the caverns, the shadows driven away by Rhayna's and Dawnbringer's light. Drow corpses lay scattered in the dirt. Dawnbringer's voice in silent in Sekkar's mind, but he senses her satisfaction at the death of these denizens of darkness. Pensive sweeps the edges of the cave, skirting the perimeter of the light spell, and finds no other enemies lurking and the flapping monster departed.

"Kill-stealer!" Hissed Sekkar, spat on the body, allowed Dawnbringer to fully enjoy the view of the carnage and deactivated the blade. "Most stupid tradition of the drow -- they kill themselves if they fail a mission or displeased the master. That way they loose many strong warriors. Not that I object." He checked the body for any clues and valuables.  

Pax grabs the ankle of the drow she downed and drags it back to the group, letting it drop with a heavy thud. She whispers a few magic words, shadows brushing across her blade, the blood and gore dripping to the ground, leaving her steel shiny and clean before she sheaths it. 

She heads over to the drow mage, and bends over the body to search through his belongings. 

"I wonder why they seemed to focussed on Kaylyn at the start..and...if any are alive it'd be nice to know why they targeted us." 

"Because they want us back. Did not we tell you? We are run-away slaves and drow do not like to loose slaves -- bad for reputation, I think. I would want to know how they track us so well, though."

The drow are all dead. All (except the mage) have non-magic shortswords and crossbows, although the tips of the bolts are wet with some liquid. Four wear simple chain shirts while the elite warrior wears leather with studs in an eight-legged pattern. All have small travel packs with rations, as well as vials of a greenish liquid in a small waist pouch. The mage wears a dark non-magic cloak with a spider-web weave and carries a zurkhwood staff. He also carries a Bag of Holding containing two scrolls and a spellbook. Pax can read enough of the elvish script to know the scrolls contain spells for Remove Curse and Spider Climb. The spellbook will take longer to decipher.

"At least none of these escaped to tell of their failure.  Hopefully it will be longer before another party is sent out to seek us."  Kaylyn remarks after Detecting Magic and separating those items of magic away from the rest.  "We need to keep moving though.  I am tired of being hunted but I doubt their failures will dissuade them from continuing.  Who would have thought we were worth such effort.  Take the weapons and armor and put them in the bag to make it easier to carry them.  We can sell them at some point.  Those vials likely have poison.  That may come in handy."   

Pax glances as Sekkar, "I think you may have mentioned that. Whatever, I also am an escaped slave in this place....though from the Duegar."  Pax holds out the Remove Curse scroll to the group, "These two scrolls could come in useful. They'd both likely be better off being learned by myself or someone else, then simply used up."

She jams the stuff into the bag as Kaylyn suggests.  "Anyone hankering for this magic bag? Otherwise.....I'm happy to keep hold of it." 

She jams the drows cloak and staff into the bag as well.  "Disguises may come in useful...also...there's a spellbook here, in case anyone can make use of it...I'm happy to share the knowledge within."

"If anyone doesn't want it, I will take the drow mage's staff." Whenever Rhayna has a chance, she will ritual cast Identify on the zurkhwood staff.

Zeno collects all the poison crossbow bolts he can find, putting them in a case if he can find one on the drow.  “Agreed on the disguises, and on the getting out of here.”  He looks at his  puncture wounds, binding them to keep them from bleeding.  ”These will hold for now.”

"Would not say no a good pack, but the weakest might need it more," Sekkar finally checked out the Bag of Holding and now looked at Rhayna and Kaylyn pointedly, "they keep a lot of stuff, carrying it without weight could let them move faster".

"The bag will be useful for me. Don't know where my strength went but this will be a great boon," Kastix states as he gestures at the bag of holding before he drops down on his ass as he goes to take a breather. He takes a moment to cast Cure Wounds on himself.
