Kastix: Let's have that DEX save as well please (DC 10). If he passes, then he can still see but will have to either 'avert his eyes' from the medusa or make a DC 14 CON save to avoid petrification. He he fails the DEX save, then he is blinded and is safe from the medusa's gaze, and also can repeat the save at the end of turn.
Lots of saving throws in this battle! Made worse by the fact these mephits have made successful recharge rolls three times in seven tries.
From here on (in case I forget) every time someone starts their turn within 30' of the Queen, they will have to declare whether they are averting their eyes or making the CON save. Averting eyes means the character can't see the medusa for the whole round, which effectively makes her an 'unseen opponent' to that character and gives her advantage on attacks.

Kastixavoids the blinding dust. With no instructions to the contrary, I'm going to assume Kastix is averting his eyes.
Just to pre-empt any misunderstanding... Anyone averting their eyes from the medusa to avoid her gaze is then unable to see her. Thus they cannot target her with spells that require a target 'you can see', attacks against the medusa are made with disadvantage, attacks by the medusa are made with advantage, and opportunity attacks can't be made against the medusa.
There seems to be no end to the amount of mud this irritating little elemental can expectorate, and another sticky wave is vomited onto Pax's head. Above the sound of belching mud, crashing stone and the clanging steel, the voice of the Queen is heard, shrieking in rage as the statues topple to the ground: Sefyll i fyny, ffyliaid di-ffydd! Although both Pax and Kastix are trying to deflect their vision away from the medusa's face, they still sense her presence as she moves in close to the both of them and hear the sound of a short drow blade being drawn. But it is Kastix that receives the brunt of the evil queen's wrath, feeling both her blade and the snakes on her head strike out at him, before she withdraws back behind her defensive line of statues

The Queen's first sword strike bites deep into Kastix's side, but a hasty abjuration spell blocks the other two attacks. The statues slowly raise themselves from the ground, with two moving out of the linear formation to surround Rhayna. The cleric heals herself, but continues to take a defensive stance by the menhir, which seems like it a wise decision as the stone creatures push harder toward the gem, swinging and clawing at Rhayna who stands in the way. The three statues surrounding her are joined by two incoming gargoyles.

Pax Dex save vs mud/restrained DC 11 : 15. (So, those statue attacks are not at disadvantage, but looking at the rolls they still miss.)
Pax growls, covered in icky mud once again, and growls, "This fight sucks!" She's vaguely aware of the evil snake headed creature nearby, but continues to keep her back to her, averting her eyes. She holds her hand up towards the mud creature and once again unleashes magic darts from her ring for 6 damage. Seeing Rhayna being beaten on Pax holds out a hand, and a glowing light reaches out of the shadows surrounding Pax and touches Rhayna's shoulder. 2 healing from her healing light. *shrug*
(Pax: Oh well, as it was the DEX save failed, so their advantage from Pax being restrained by mud cancels their disadvantage from Blur)
The magic darts from Pax slam into the irritating impish mud-creature, but still it hovers above, mud dripping from its mouth, wings and feet. Sekkar strides swiftly away from the ooze, which makes a futile swipe at the empty space left behind. Dawnbringer's light causes the statue to turn brittle and fracture, and it splinters into shards and crumbles into a small cairn, after which this sword reaches out and strikes the nearest gargoyle, which doesn't manage to fly up in time to avoid. And Kaylyn's blasts reduce another of her damages assailants to gravel.
If the elemental is fighting its way to the Rhayna's gem then it is taken the longer and more difficult way around the menhir, but yet it continues to swing out at Pax yet again. The ooze moves toward the source of the sound and vibration in front, which in this case again happens to be Sekkar. And the dust mephit hovering above scrabbles at Kastix with its tiny claws, oblivious to the magic shield protecting him.
