Running was not an option anymore and Sekkar continued to attack the spirit in fornt of him:

Joetaro's prayer to Selune for protection over Rhayna seems to have been answered in a miraculous manner, as a glorious white unicorn instantly materialises beside the sarcophagus. It whinnies and stamps its hooves, and with a sharp and grateful one-eyed sideways glance at the paladin that inadvertently summoned it, the unicorn moves to stand as a sentinel beside Rhayna and guard her from further attack.

Kaylyn continues to focus her magic against the creature that she has already attacked.  She' s a bit surprised by the sudden duplicate images of herself and wonders for the briefest of moments where they came from.

Eldritch Blast

Attack: 23 Damage: 9

ROUND 2 (sorry for the delay)

Rhayna clutches her journal and holds her holy symbol aloft, hoping that it will fend off the specter's attack, but another blast from Kaylyn is too much for the evil spirit, and it dissipates into the air with a mournful howl. Sekkar swipes again at the largest specter, but it merely swoops out of the way, hisses at him, then reaches out with a ghostly hand and plants it on the lizardman's chest, sucking his life force.

Sekkar, please make a DC 10 CON saving throw.
Kastix, Zeno, Joetaro: Your turn. Only one specter remaining, attacking Sekkar (other than the one that fled)

"Just go away," Kastix states as he cast [Tooltip Not Found], "And tell whatever's talking in my head to get out!"

Attack: 26 Damage: 8 Fire.

Kastix launches a mote of fire, sizzling another hole in the incorporeal form of the remaining specter. But at the same time, with a loud pop two more creatures unexpectedly appear in the increasingly-crowded room. They look like this:

The two creatures float in the air, bumping into each other confusedly. A telepathic surge seems to emanate from the unusual beings into everyone's mind - a feeling of disorientation and fear. An instant later, a foul-smelling liquid sprays around the room, originating from the two creatures - evidently some kind of self-defense mechanism.

The liquid sprays in two directions, one from each creature, catching Zeno, Kastix, Kaylyn, Joetaro, Rhayna, Stool and the Unicorn in the area of effect. Each please make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw to avoid the stench spray.

Zeno DEX Save: 10

Zeno rolls underneath the spray and comes up firing, staying focuses on the specter sucking the life force from Sekkar.

Attack: 18 Damage: 7

Sneak Attack (since Sekkar engaged): 4

Zeno's crossbow bolt penetrates the specter, clattering into the wall on the other side, but leaving yet another space in the ghostly substance. Very little now remains of the shade, and its glowing eyes flicker and fade as it clings to what little remains of its existence, reaching out to Sekkar to feed on his vital force one last time...

Kastix Dex Save: 19

Joetaro is going to slash at the spectre.

Splattered with the foul goo, the unicorn whinnies in frustration and alarm. With its head lowered, it charges at the final specter, and Sekkar sees its horn glowing momentarily as it pierces the undead form, causing it to finally dissipate with a mournful howl.

The specters are gone, but the room still feels as crowded as before. The foul-smelling unicorn canters around the room, shaking its mane and inspecting each member of the group. The flying tentacled creatures ascend toward the ceiling and then float out of the room, still radiating a telepathic sense of panic. Disgusting-smelling liquid is splattered on the walls, and most have avoided its contamination, although Joetaro's efforts to shield others from the spray has left the paladin's back coated in it.

Joetaro and the Unicorn are poisoned, as also is anyone within 5 feet of them.

"Anyone else seeing a unicorn or did I lose my marbles to the nine tricksters?" Kastix askes, pointing his thumb at the beast. 

OOC: I feel like this is becoming running gag for my characters

Kaylyn looks around in confusion, the 3 mirror images of herself duplicating her every move.

"Ah, yes."

She says a bit hesitantly,

"I do see a 🦄 unicorn Kastix.  I also see a few of me.  This is a strange place."

Very curious now she moves to the tomb in the bottom right corner and examines it.

"Let's open these up and see what they might contain." 

Zeno looks around at the.splattered rooom. “Definitely trap.”

“Can anyone help them,” he says gesturing to the poisoned Joetaro and Unicorn? Seeing Kaylyn reaching for the sarcophagus, he says, “Why don’t I check that just in case? Probably nothing, but ya never know...” One by one he checks the sarcophagi for traps. (OOC: let me know if they need to be multiple rolls.)

22 Investigation

"If you mean the white horse with a horn on it's head - yes, I can see it too. And smell." Sekkar's sense of smell was overloaded to a degree when quality of the sensation does not matter anymore. He tried to keep his distance from both smelling beings. 

"Joetaro, my friend, you need to wash that fowl liquid off of yourself. If you can convince that beast to do the same, we might even survive here." Lizardman moved to Kaylin to help opening the sarcophagus (they already payed the price, might as well take a look) but he will first and foremost try to avoid smelly spots (and creatures).

"Poisoned is beyond my present abilities," Kastix states before turning to watch the two open up the sarcophagus, "Let's take a look I guess," Kastix look around the room for any more problem, leaving the two to it.
