Stigr will move over to the door, "Who's in there? How did you get down here? I assumed our contract was exclusive, was I wrong" The last addressed to our documancer.
Maximus wanders among the group to see if anyone needs any medical attention and cast Cure Wounds on Arturan.

Then turns towards the door, "Are you able to open the door we mean you no harm unless you mean to harm us. the Gricks have been killed and it is safe to come out."
The elf looks to Stigr with a confused expression. He replies, "I was under the impression that we had exclusive rights to the contract, but that does not bar other entities from attempting to perform the same task for their own purposes and benefactors. But this development must be recorded."
"You there, what is your name and who do you work for?" He asks the unseen personage beyond the door. After a beat he adds, "... and in what region are they Incorporated?"
Trin will look closely at the door to see if there is anything unusual about the handle or latch

Meanwhile, Owlix keeps on the alert for any movement in the tunnels both behind and ahead of the party.

The door seems normal as far as doors go down here. There is a hole drilled in the middle of it though, clearly fairly recently done, within a few days anyway.
The door opened slowly and a figure came out, looking tired and weak, with tear tracks down his dirty face.
"I'm Kelim, Kelim the Weasel..." he says as he looks around at you. "I was part of a group, the Fine Fellows of Daggerford, but got cut off from them, and then those things chased me, and I holed up in there." He nods to the door he had just come out of. "Here, take this for rescuing me..." he holds out what looks to be a book. "I found it down here, but think you should have it, for saving me and all that."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"My colleagues and I are more than happy to help. As documancer, it is my duty to ensure that the contents of this codex are transcribed to the company library catalog." Trin reaches out for the book and holds it up, inspecting the front and back covers as well as the spine. If he does not detect any wards or warnings, he will open it and attempt to discern the contents.

It is a spellbook.
Treasure. The spellbook contains the following spells: blight, burning hands, comprehend languages, darkvision, dispel magic, false life, feign death, gust of wind, invisibility, lightning bolt, and sleep.
Trin tries to determine what sort of Mage authored this Magnum Opus based on spell schools and any other arcane knowledge he might possess, relating to the symbols or materials within the book. (i.e. if the thing is bound in flesh and inked in blood, chock full o' Necromancy spells, I think we’d all be surprised if it wasn't written by a necromancer.)
A bit lost in himself, Trin eventually snaps his attention to Kelim and inquires directly, "This is an exceptional text, Mr. Weasel. Could I trouble you to promulgate some of the particulars regarding the provenance of such an article?"
As he opens the door and comes out, Sigr will look in the room.
It looks to be a ten by ten storage room, with nothing of use or value in it. Seems someone may have been using it for a privy while keeping safe in it though.

Iggy, in his regular form, saunters up to the party and the former captive. "WHOA dude, that's a pretty rad book. Too bad I can't read."

"I found it, didn't make it." He replies.
The tunnel continues on past the place with the gricks and the door.
"Can I travel with you just until we get somewhere I can get out of this cursed place?" The halfling asks you.
"I don;t see why not, just try and stay out of trouble and stay in the middle." Maximus answers him.
Stigr will nod and move down the hall, sending his imp out ahead, still invisible.
Rurik and Shadowlight will pull up the rear. “So, erm, Weasel, what brought yer group down here? Where did they git off to?”
Iggy smiles and pats Weasel on the back. "Hey man. I was alone down here too. Real spooky, right?"
