Zubin is at the base of the statue in it topples. He watches wide-eyed as Shieldbiter jumps out of the way, and breathes a sigh of relief when he's safe. He peers into the tunnel and around its mouth as Sinsil is given a boost up to the passage. Is it covered with the same lime muck?
The eyes of the statue are pieces of polished obsidian worth 10 gp each. The sword is a +1 longsword in fine condition, made of laminated wood, inset with jagged teeth of obsidian. It deals an extra 2d6 damage to any creature of the plant type. The sword comes free easily, if any character pulls it up and out.
The details on the hidden passage, behind the statue is...
Water beads collect upon the walls of this narrow passage, and the flooring is cold and damp. A low ceiling, only five feet tall, further cramps this dank place.
The slime from the other surfaces does not appear to be in here.
Anyone in the passage can see the following two items:
The northern entrance to this passage is a block of stone mounted on a central pivot, which has been wedged partially open by accumulated debris.
The southern end of the passage appears to be a blank wall.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The half-elf lifts himself into the small tunnel. "I suppose this is more to your liking, Documancer," he notes to Sinsil as he hunches through to the where Shieldbiter is at work. He examines the door closely.
You cannot use persuasion against other characters.
As Cas Inspects the tunnel you find a secret door at the southern end...
The location of the southern entrance appears to be a blank wall when initially viewed from within the passage. The portal can be opened from inside the passage by releasing a concealed catch at the intersection of the wall and the ceiling. Cas finds this catch as he looks over the tunnel for traps.
To those investigating the northern exit of the hidden tunnel...
The northern stone moves like a door as it is investigated.
On the other side you find...
This hall is strewn with mud and flotsam. Water accumulates in the center of the corridor and flows westward to where a stone block in the southern wall has shifted out of place. The corridor turns north, and the flow of water follows it, then goes under a door made of bronze-bound wood. The door has a handle and a keyhole.

“Oh, this is horrid! Sinsil dear, could I trouble you for some prestidigitation? My boots are near ruined from all this water!”
Looking at the corridor, Rik will add ”Decision for the group: Are we following the water, or going against it? My votes, since we’re looking to get up and out, would be to head against the flow. Water trickles downward, after all.”
Rik will head east up the corridor to where the block has shifted and stand out of the water. Perception check to see if there’s more in that direction: 10

You don't notice anything more than I posted previously.
Zubin arches an eyebrow. "Upstream would certainly seem to be the easier path...but also the less profitable. Do we not wish to squeeze the most 'liquidity' out of this expedition?" He says this last with a grin and a little splash. "And anyway, the water seems to flow both westward and northward. So...which way exactly are you voting to go?
"I suggest investigating the stone first, then the northern door. Loose stone has led to treasure here before."

Cas has found a second exit from the hidden tunnel,t hat goes south out of the hidden tunnel.
Back in the hall with the statue, you also ahve a door that leads north.
So, as things currently stand, there are three paths forward. The northern door in the statue hall, the southern, hidden, door in the hidden tunnel, or the northern door out of the area past the block you went past by going north out of the hidden tunnel.

So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.

“All those weapons ya got and all that loot from the dead one back that way, ya really can’t let me enjoy finding a fun new toy to play with?”
Larry looks at Cas skinny arms. "That blade is a heavy weapon made for one who can swing it. The Dragon man should have it, as we will be better off."
