A few minutes after Victor sends that text, Harold gives him a thumbs up emoji.

The next day at around 7pm he receives another text which is a picture of the gift in the gym as specified. It looks as if Harold had to do a little bit of redecoration, but the pieces of equipment looked as if it fit right in. Whatever it was.

Niagra falls was a magnificent sight. Finding a place to park the RV took some patience and perhaps a discipline or two, but a spot was found for the RV. It was cold, and the waterfall was raging, but was the most amazing part was the artificial lighting everywhere that made the fall look so magical. Fireworks were going off, and the coterie was able to spend the night in wonder and beauty. A large ferry boat was able to take many people turn by turn by the lighted waterfall - Christmas colors and everything. 

There was plenty places to eat and drink at night, and the whole area was packed with tourists, locals, and people enjoying the sights and festivities. After the boat ride, the Coterie took a moment to absorb the ambiance hanging around some railing by the waterfall.

Just the sights alone, the trip was worth the while.

Victor hadn't celebrated Christmas too many times since he was Embraced. Not because he felt like it was wrong for a vampire to celebrate, it's just that he didn't have people to celebrate it with. Most Kindred didn't like him and he didn't like them back. And the humans that he did come into contact with were more for one-night stands than a holiday celebration. He started to celebrate again after joining up with the Coterie (and after teaching Alessandra about Christmas). They were nice and it served as a nice bonding exercise during those early years. And he thought that it would be a nice thing when Alessandra decided to schedule a trip to Canada for the holidays. Boy, did that undersell it. Partying at Luv-A-Fair, spending a night at a luxury hotel, and now this. It's a perfect trip to get in the mood for the holidays.

For the first time in years, Victor had a family and he couldn't think of too many things he'd rather do than see Niagara Falls like this, all lit up for Christmas. He wanted to capture this moment forever, so he pulled out his phone and gathered everyone close together. "One quick group photo before we go home. You guys know that I never do these."

Earlier: Alana had finished checking on the orders she had made, knowing that they would all receive them when they got home, Harold getting his first. She had tried to make sure everyone got something they'd enjoy, small notes attached to each one.

 Now: Alana joins the group with a happy smile, allowing Victor to attempt to take a picture of all of them, dazzled by the lights and sight of the falls. After the picture she'd lean slightly on the railing and peer out over the falls with a peaceful smile until the others were ready to return. 

Before heading back to Colorado, Victor slips away for a minute, to collect the present he ordered, as well as a Rolex for Harold. Then he gathers back in the RV with everyone else.

Trouble!

A bunch of drunk male college students are harassing a small group of young women at the bar, not taking no for an answer for some hanky panky during the festivities. The incident becomes escalated, and then turns violent. The men get frustrated and a brawl breaks out. The women get spooked and try and flee, but the men are easily upon them. Ordinary people back away, too caught off guard, or able to save the women from the drunk men. They begin to beat the women, and no law enforcement is nearby. Yet. 

Time to test out "One Roll Conflicts!"

THE SITUATION:
Four college jocks are about to kick the crap out of some young women for not putting out. Describe what your character is doing, and we're going to describe abstractly those actions narratively into a single dice roll of conflict. For example, Misha fist fighting one of the men in a flurry of back and forth punching and kicking will all take place in a single roll, not round by round, keeping the dice rolling to a minimum, but the role playing at a maximum.

THE MECHANICS:
- To defend the women and take out the drunk jocks physically is a DV3 difficulty task. You can form your pool in any way you see fit, and roll. We're going to want to know the margin.
- If you wish to use Disciplines on the jocks, you may. Consider them, for this situation, as "resisting", so any power you wish to use must beat a DV3 as you will be opposed.
- You cannot use Willpower or Blood Surging for this type of conflict.
- Each player who fights physically takes damage equal to the difference between their margin and TWICE the Difficulty of 3. For example, if Misha rolled and got a margin of 4, she would take 2 superficial damage on her turn. (4 minus twice the DV of 3 which is 6, is 2.) She won the fight, but got punched a few times in the process.
- After everyone has gone, the side who "wins" will be considered the winner.

Remember the Masquerade.

Sorrin was enjoying the sights of the many lights and crowds of people bundled up against the cold. The ferry ride was relaxing, and when Vic suggested the group photo, Sorrin was genuinely surprised but beamed and wrapped an arm around him for the picture, "Someone is getting into the spirit of things~" He gave his friend a solid pat on the back.

After the picture was taken and they began heading back to the RV, they noticed the disturbance. Seeing how the women where about to be traumatized, Sorrin sprinted over, making sure to hold back at least a little so to not seem, to fast. Stepping between the women and the men, he twisted the grip off one of the assailants, "Didn't your parent's teach you it's not gentlemanly to touch a woman without their consent." Sweeping the leg a little, he had the man tumble back into his buddies before turning his back to them to kneel down besides the ladies and offer his hands, "Are you able to stand?" Reciving a small nod from them, he gave a slight smile of relief before taking their hands and having them move away from the men.

Victor was incredibly furious at this situation. The disturbance to his holiday peace was one thing, but Victor was a gentleman, and the sight of women being assaulted was one he wouldn't tolerate, even if he had long removed himself from caring about human affairs. Not being too skilled when it came to melee combat, Victor activated his Daunt powers in an attempt to get these guys to stop. "Damn it, I'm trying to enjoy the holiday with my friends at a bar, and you ******* animals have to come and **** this up for me and everyone else in this bar because you couldn't accept the facts that these girls didn't want anything to do with your disgusting misshapen cocks! Get the **** out of here before we make you get out!"

0 margin

Alana, seeing everyone else handle the situation, narrows her lips into a thin line before activating awe and moving around to calm the rest of the crowd with a slightly forced smile, enough to look genuine enough to fool the people but deep down she's seething with annoyed anger.

Seeing that Sorrin had managed to separate the girls from the boys, Alessandra rushed off to their side to check to see if they were alright and to assess any wounds they had gotten from the tussle. She takes out her pocket medkit and gets to work!

Small chaos ensued. Many things happened at once as the scene devolved from civility to violence extremely rapidly.

Victor: Your annoyance was clear, fueling your supernatural attempt to daunt the jocks. He succeeded, but just barely. Daunt is free so doesn't cause you to make a rouse roll. Even though you succeeded, you did not achieve any levels of margin. The jocks heard your words, and they were momentarily distracted, focusing on you. They stopped to look at you, and retorted with verbally abusive words at you, hurtful opinions of your appearance, and generally just being plain mean. Already agitated at being interrupted by this nonsense, you took what they said personally, and so you suffer a total of 6 Superficial Willpower damage. You may mitigate this damage one for one by trading a point of Superficial Willpower damage for a Stain - which is "temporary damage" to your Humanity, as you retort back and say even more hurtful words.

Alana: This was the moment Alana stepped in to try and soothe the crowd, but it was a rough and thankless job. While you succeeded, you did not earn any margins of success, so while you were able to calm the crowd, your anger showed, and the crowd was very rough to control - already frustrated at the situation at a bunch of men trying to beat up women. You suffer a total of 6 Superficial Willpower damage from the stress of the situation. You may mitigate this damage one for one by trading a point of Superficial Willpower damage for a Stain - which is "temporary damage" to your Humanity, as you use increasingly aggressive verbal tactics to try and maintain control of an already rowdy crowd.

Sorrin: Thanks to Alana and Victor, you were able to rush in - but not TOO fast - to peel the young women from the jocks. While you were able to save them and manhandle the jocks to get the girls to safety, you felt a couple of hard blows connect, but not enough to drop you. You had a margin of 3, and minus twice the difficult DV which is 6, the difference is 3, which is how much superficial damage you take as you saved the women and tussled with the jocks. Nice job! If you wish, you may mitigate the damage and take a number of Stains to your Humanity, abstractly describing perhaps how you roughhoused the jocks a little too much - taking it too far.

Misha: Now that the jocks were peeled away it was time to kick some ass. Misha rushed in and tackled two of the jocks. It was a rough brawl, and Misha was able to fend them off. She took a hard blow to the back as one of the college guys smashed a stool against her, and she took a wicked left hook that spun her into the bar counter. Overall, she was tough enough that the jocks realized eventually she wasn't going down, and they backed off. Bruised and bloody, Misha had a margin of zero, so while winning the conflict, she did take a total of 6 superficial damage. Holding her side, she limped away and spit at the jocks, her nose clearly broken.

Aless: The girls were angry, annoyed, and frightened. It took everything you had just to get them to calm down for a moment so you could academically look them over. They hooted and hollered over you as the "red-headed wonder woman" got her ass kicked against two college football players, and that's not exactly how you saw the situation, which annoyed you even further. You were losing your patience fast, and while you were able to tell they suffered no damage. It was a taxing experience, and you suffer a total of 6 superficial Willpower damage which you may mitigate for Stains one to one if you wish to take Stains on your Humanity instead - perhaps you lost your temper with the girls and really said a few things you didn't mean.

At this point the police arrived, and you all made a slippery escape, knowing that for, at least, one night - no one was going to touch those girls - especially not those jocks.

Victor storms off to the RV, incredibly frustrated with how this all went down. He opens the liquor cabinet and starts drinking. After having a few drinks, he gets even more frustrated because it's not doing anything for him since he's a vampire. "I should've just gotten my ass kicked."

Misha has a total of 8 health boxes. When you take damage, you mark it left to right like a health bar. She gets into a fist fight, and suffers 5 superficial damage. Her Health tracker now looks like this:

Misha then gets attacked by a werewolf and takes three aggravated damage. Like Superficial damage, you transform superficial damage to aggravated damage left to right. Her Health tracker now looks like this:

If you fill your entire tracker with superficial damage, you are "Impaired" and suffer -2 to your die pool on physical actions. Misha in this case is not impaired. If you also fill in your Health Tracker with Aggravated damage, you're out. For good.

HEALING SUPERFICIAL HEALTH DAMAGE: Each *turn*, Vampires can Rouse to heal a number of Superficial Health points depending on their Blood Potency.
HEALING AGGRAVATED HEALTH DAMAGE: Each *day*, Vampires can Rouse to heal 1 Aggravated Health point.

So, after the fight, Misha could rouse a few times, or more, depending on Hunger, to heal the Superficial damage, but her Aggravated damage, perhaps a broke arm or leg, will take longer to heal. She can only Rouse once per day and heal one point each time. In the example above, she is healing TWO superficial, and THREE aggravated damage.

Your Willpower tracker is just like your Health tracker. Your Health tracker is for physical damage, your Willpower tracker is for social damage.

It's filled in in the exact same way, from left to right, just like in the post above. YOU DO NOT SUFFER WILLPOWER DAMAGE FOR ANY REASON DURING PHYSICAL COMBAT AND VICE VERSA. THEY ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TRACKERS.

HEALING SUPERFICIAL WILLPOWER DAMAGE: Each *day*, a Vampire can heal a number of Willpower points equal to your Composure or Resolve, whichever is higher. OR/AND you can work to further your Desire, which will heal 1 superficial Willpower point.
HEALING AGGRAVATED WILLPOWER DAMAGE: Each *day*, a Vampire can heal 1 aggravated Willpower damage if they work towards their Ambition. OR/AND you can interact with one of your Touchstones.

Sorrin gives a polite smile to the ladies, then follows the others into the RV. Dusting himself off and making sure the others were...okay, he takes not of the common air of frustration, then says, "I'll drive for now, all of you should relax." He then takes the wheel and starts driving.

Victor goes off to whatever private area there might be in this RV. He stews for a while, angry at just about everyone and spends an indeterminate amount of time thinking about how he wants to get revenge on those guys before passing out.

Alessandra felt her energy being sapped out of her when she's helping the girls, and mutters a 'you're welcome' when she done. If it hadn't been for the Masquerade she would have slaughtered these *****es. She returns to the RV annoyed, maybe to not Victor's degree, but it's apparent on her face. She sits down in the booth and looks furiously through at her phone apps.

Misha, fending off and beating up at least two college football players, felt like she was hit by a truck. Cowards, using furniture like chairs and stool. That shit hurts. Misha took off her shirt to reveal a bruised up torso, and she took a rag to try and stop the blood coming out of her nose. Speaking of, it was broken, and she concentrated to command her Blood to repair it.

(Roused and failed. Healed one SF point, but adding 1 Hunger, now 2/5)

The nose healed and popped back into place, but it caused a surge of hunger to well in her belly. Next was the purple bruises on her cheeks and jaw.

(Roused and succeeded. Healed one more SF point.)

The bruises went away, and Misha sat up straight to try and heal the bruised rip. She inhaled carefully and let the Blood do it's work.

(Roused and failed. Healed one more point at the cost of one more Hunger. 3/5 now)

It fixed, and again, she grew hungrier. She decided to stop. It was getting dangerous now. The rest would have to wait.

Misha sat down next to Aless, with a slightly concerned look on her face. Just hours ago they were tongue wrestling in bed, and it was clear that the incident at Niagra Falls did some significant damage to her mentally. So, she sat there next to her. Just to keep her company. Misha had roused a few times and grew hungry because of it. She became slightly less patient, eagerly waiting for the time the RV needed gas so Misha could feed.

Alessandra brought her knees up to her chest as she angrily tapped at her phone, looking through various social media, but nothing seemed to be helping her calm down. How dare those ungrateful *****es heckle Misha when all she was trying to do was help them. It was a two on one fight, obviously it wasn't fair! If Misha had been using her full strength they would have been dead in the damn dirt--!

The thoughts only angered her further, but it was when Misha herself had sat down beside Alessandra that her mind calmed down. She rested her head on Misha's shoulder, saying nothing but enjoying her presence and company all the same.
