That funny right there, probably just replace one of those 9s with the 20 from that other roll. You can be super sharp on one stat and the lower stats can hinder you to become more balanced...if it doesnt work out, we can always have your character work on the flaws while we play...like training..lol
I'll take it xD Having one ability as good as possible will be something, and I don't mind working with the hindrances of the others. Thanks! And sorry for all the re-rolls xD
I have worked out a convention for those we will meet at alternative locations so they can start playing immediately. When posting from other locales then the main group use

Before your post contents, that will denote a different time or place. It is used in novel writing, so I dont see. Why it wont work here.
Check out the other characters on the campaign page and if you see one you can bundle with for the introduction it will simplify things. You can work out where you are at between Ice Spire peak and Neverwinter and air can begin your activity in that area and bring you to the meeting point
Does anyone who hasn't yet introduced their characters to the campaign want to work with me on our characters meeting in a different place and journeying for a while, before meeting the main party?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hi i have this kind of character in mind: in style of Snufkin from Moomin :D (maybe a little Taako from TAZ podcast)
BG: Only son of half-elf fisherman and his human wife that runs small herbalist store. Lives with his parents during hunting/fishing season. As soon as it ends he packs his sailor style bag, grabs his father old green fisherman coat, borrows one of his mothers almost 'wizardish' hat and with his beloved staff/fishing rod Snus sets out for another journey. He roams around the world as long as he has food and some coins.
So you can pop him in and out as much as you will need for the adventure

I don't have anything that I am paired with as far as I know. I had been messaging the DM and they were going to bring me in in a little while. my character is a halfling celestial warlock cook... he has the dragonmark of hospitality and is super friendly lol.
We will see when the DM tosses us in and how they choose to do it lol. I was messaging Dwar a bit and got the impression that they would let me know when my character makes an appearance. Maybe they will have us join at the same time. What kind of backstory does your warlock have that we could use to pair the two up?
Former son/future patriarch of a noble family, fled from home after being framed for his fathers killing. Took to the Pirate life for a time, until the law caught up with him, blew the ship and crew to smithereens. Jaeson was the only survivor, due to his patron finding and saving him. Jaeson has sworn fealty to his patron and serves it, and in return plans on using the power he's been lent to get revenge.
So...a bit of a mouthful. As for how the two could be paired up, I imagine Jaeson's mostly trying to find his feet for the moment, find a group in order to increase his chances of survival, bide his time, slowly become more powerful etc.
I had kind of thought maybe Jaeson could have found his way to a tavern / inn... looking a bit worse for wear when Skip notices him and offers him a hand. Paying for a few of his meals and preparing them for Jaeson himself, making sure to heap the plates extra full. Inbetween cooking food and performing other tasks, Skip would take time to talk to Jaeson and try to learn a little bit about the outsider....
I like what you have going. Jaeson and Skip will meet at the tavern in Phandalin. Your going to tall for so long that Skip loses his chef gig there and you two will decide to take up one of the jobs from the town jobs board to earn some gold. I will begin your journey on the game thread and you will see which quest you have under taken then. It will be up this evening. Good job on collaboration
Okay, I'll work with that. Sort of best of both worlds.
You guys are gonna hate all these re-rolls. I forgot to drop the lowest number. I hate myself.

Edit: Don't know why it's doing that.....after the first post it said dice rolls unavailable ....... so I re-rolled.....then both rolls showed up.

Quick question : are you going to allow multi-classing?

Once you hit lvl 3 you can multiclass if you choose.

Sounds good xD Could have the party run into the two of us, travelling together. Two Warlocks on the road, lol

I think that sounds perfect. Bonding over Skip's generosity as well as their shared Warlock-ness.
Works for me :D
