Gerrard:
Recalling the the ostensibly ancient studded leather armor appeared to be still in good shape while he was fighting the wight wearing it, Gerrard takes a look at it and asks, “Is it possible this armor is enchanted?”

In response to Gerrard's question, Peri will use his Eldritch Sight to check out the armor and weapons of the dead orc. Then he'll sweep the room for any other magical items or effects.
While the magically inclined ones do their thing, Gerrard finds himself profoundly disturbed that a mausoleum dedicated to the Dwarven Creator God is so defaced. He spends his time trying to tidy up and clean the chamber so it returns to some semblance of dignity for the dwarf likely buried here.

Gingerly walking over to the nearest bench he sits. "Aye. Seems I'm a bit out of practice in a real fight". Blood running down his arm he inspects his wounds. "I could use some healing if anyone is so inclined."He winces as he continues to talk "well I can see why the council asked you all to take on the smugglers. Quite effective little team. Hope I was able to contribute, even a little"
(( If no one can heal him, he will bandage his wounds as best he can. Medicine 6 ))
Gerrard further disables Toktok's corpse, as Dwal considers what he knows about wights. (Not a lot - they can drain the life force of the living and raise the dead to do their bidding, you've heard.)
Peri scans the room with his Eldritch Sight. The armor (and the other possessions of the wight, goblin, and skeletons) seem to be ordinary. But he sees something arcane buried under a scattering of bones near the altar.
Kei manages to partially staunch the bleeding from the significant wounds across his chest.
Gerrard does his best to help tidy up the shrine, but it will take a lot more work than Gerrard can offer to bring these ruins anywhere close to their original glory. Besides the clear vandalism that once took place here, nature has also done its damage over the centuries.
Giving up after at least moving the bones and corpses off to the side, Gerrard sits and rests by Kei, saying, “You fought well, but that creature was fast with his blade. I have no healing magic, but I think the others might.”

Poking around the musty armor with the butt of his spear, Peri shakes his head. "No, nothin' magical in this mess. Was just one mean bugger. But over there," he points to a pile of bones near the altar, "there's somethin' strange under there." He strolls over and pushes the debris aside to reveal the source of the magical aura. "Whaddya make of this?" he asks Dwal.
While the others are distracted healing and examining the magical object, Peri skulks over to Toktok's body. He pats down the goblin to see if he's carrying anything useful, then lays him out on the floor and folds his hands serenely on his chest. Then, on the wall above the body, he writes in chalk:
Toktok, Lord of the Ghoch
Chased by a worg and hid in some rocks,
The ceiling collapsed, and down he dropped,
Crossed swords with a wight and his story stopped.
He steps back, studies his work, and chuckles dryly. "Not exactly a heroic epic, but your name's on the wall so you'll not be entirely forgotten. Better than you deserved, likely, and better than most goblins get."
Under a stratum of bones which were not part of either of the skeletons you fought (and neither ancient nor recent in age,) Peri unearths a leather sack and a small bone case.
Loot! His wounds healed, but also now forgotten. "Thanks Fiercehammer" he blurts as he passes the dwarf. He walks over to Peri. "What've you got there?"His eyes flick over the fresh carving on the wall. "Gee, you could make a fine poet"he compliments Peri on his prose. "If your not finished, I can hold that bag for you while you do". His offer delivered a little hastily, betraying his eagerness to see the contents of the bag.
Prying open the old sack, Dwal discovers that it holds gold coins (280 gp). Gingerly opening the bone case, he finds two scrolls - the source of the magic that Peri had detected.
"Shall we rest for a few minutes more as you investigate the items you found, or press on now through the southern door?" asks Gerrard. Seemingly unhurt, the young noble seems anxious to get moving, but more than willing to accommodate those who may wish to rest a bit longer and bind their wounds (short rest).

Dwal
Dwal will try to decipher the scrolls to see if they are meant to cast spells and what spells they cast of any.

After that if the party wants to take a short rest after the battle he is ok with it "Just need to make sure we aren't surprised by any sneakin monsters." he says.
"If it is me you are waiting on, don't bother. Master Angry Hammer here fixed me up for now."He inspects the magically healed wound on his chest. "Not too bad mister, not bad."
He takes one last peek over Peris shoulder into the bag of gold and with a grin he starts of towards the door. "Trill, to me". The owl obediently flys straight to Kei's shoulder and begins a low hoo.
“Excellent, Master Fenwader,” says Gerrard. “Once you have checked the door and everyone is ready, I will open it,” he offers, moving up as he unsheathes his rapier, preparing to open the door with his off hand.

Dwal determines that the two scrolls are likely spell scrolls, but he'll need at least a couple of hours to figure out what they may cast.
Peri examines the door - a beautifully-crafted, if very old piece of Dwarven work. No evidence of traps, magic, or other surprises. Gerrard steps forward and opens it.
A set of steep stone steps lead downward into an enormous hall, lined with ten great pillars carved into the forms of giants and dragons, supporting the vaulted ceiling above. Guttering orange torches set in sconces along the walls illuminate the room, and a mighty throne sits on a dais at the opposite end. The walls were once covered with tile mosaics, but they have been smashed and defiled by graffiti. Tiny fragments of tile litter the floor. You can see five other exits. A small fire smolders on the floor before the dais, where six sleeping pallets lie empty, surrounded by packs and supplies. The sound of hammers ringing on iron comes from beyond the doors to the south.
Suddenly a harsh voice calls from the shadows of the pillars, “Go back the way you came! This is the only warning you’ll get!”

”We mean no offense, unknown speaker, we were just exploring and came across this Dwarven tomb that has been defiled by the undead. We were hoping to do what good we could and perhaps learn more about this forgotten burial site. My name is Gerrard, and I hail from Seaton. Who might you be?” Inquires Gerrard politely, hoping to learn more about this place and not be brushed off so easily.

Dwal will take the 10 minutes and concentrate on the armor to see if it's magical in nature, casting Detect Magic.
