Gerrard readies his rapier, as Peri prepares to dodge any incoming missiles.
Now fully aware of your presence, the ogre and warg prepare to aggressively advance. The ogre is already furious and seems quite ready to smash more stuff. They are nearly 200 feet away, across the length of the clearing.
The ogre thunders across the rocky, weedy clearing at top speed, headed directly for the party. He covers eighty feet before you have time to think any further, and swings a massive club and carries a long spear or stick of some sort. And he looks very, very angry.
The worg bounds toward you at an even faster pace, but heads southeast into the woods at a more oblique angle. It is visible, but is now under partial cover of the scrubby brush.
Both creatures are about 120 feet away now; the ogre to your west, the worg to your WSW, and moving rapidly toward you.
Watching what Master Fenwader does, Gerrard starts looking to defense himself, taking the action to Dodge and maybe moving a bit so that he has Peri to one side of him and a larger rock or bush on the other side, just so it might provide him a bit of protection from being overrun by these creatures. "When in doubt, follow the leader's example," he thinks to himself.

Dwal belches a high-speed ball of arcane flame at the approaching ogre. Even at an impressive distance, it manages to hit the massive giant, clad only in loose, crudely-cut hide clothing. The fire bolt leaves a nasty burn on the ogre's left arm. You see it already has a goblin's crossbow bolt protruding from one thigh from a very recent battle. It bellows a terrifying, ear-shattering roar that you can feel in your bones, but it doesn't even slightly pause its headlong charge.
Gerrard finds a little cover behind a squat oak, where he prepares to dodge any incoming missiles or charging bodies.
"Arvoreen aid us," the halfling says under his breath, and fires off another eldritch blast15 at the worg for 1 damage. He will then edge backward about 20 feet ENE, so that he's a bit to the left of the ogre's path.
"Stand your ground brother. A single ogre and his pet don't stand a chance against the might of the likes of us." Qiv stomps his feet firmly in place as if to solidify his own words. He raises his hammer high and lets out a loud battle cry "Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu"
He readies a Guiding Bolt for the moment the ogre or his dog come within the 120ft range.
Peri fires a crackling beam of unworldly purple light from his fingertips, striking the massive ogre in hie beefy right leg, but it's more show than substance. The giant glances uncertainly at his leg for a moment, but charges on. Peri backs off.
Qivys fires his own blast of holy light at the advancing attacker; it misses narrowly.
The ogre charges straight at the party; while the worg takes a slight more circuitous route. Both are still just under 120 feet away, and closing rapidly
Moving over next to Dwal, Gerrard prepares to receive the ongoing charge while providing a bit of protection for those attacking at range. Continuing to Dodge, he holds his weapons at the ready, hoping his skills are up to the challenge.

The Ogre roars with anger and continues to thunder across the uneven clearing, bounding over boulders and smashing through the sparse scrub. It is nearly across the clearing now, its massive club raised to strike. It is forty feet away and closing fast.
The worg is even closer, perhaps twenty feet away in the underbrush, partially obscured by the thick brush to your southwest, but clearly visible and moving extremely rapidly.
You each have one more action before they reach you. The warg is close enough for anyone except Peri to engage in melee with this turn. (Peri is closer to 40 feet away from the worg.)
"You want the oaf or the puppy?" he addresses Dwal and Gerrard. "They seem to be coming at us from two sides."Qiv whips his head side to side trying to watch both attackers. He grips his hammer a little tighter and with a quiet prayer to Pelor he imbues it with his gods wrath. He readies the first swing for when an enemy closes to melee range.
Presented with a choice by the seasoned adventurers, Gerrard makes a snap decision and says, “Oaf for me,” moving forward a step or two and off to the side far enough to put him directly into the ogre’s path.
Tensed like.a coiled spring, Gerrard prepares to leap into action as soon as the charging ogre swings his mighty club.
OOC: Continuing to Dodge as his action, Gerrard will parry if the Ogre hits him or Riposte if it misses. Theatrically it should be a leap to the side to dodge followed either by a desperate parry or an agile stab as the lumbering giant draws close.
