SolRhea: You run to the bar and toss the lamp oil at the Troll, but your aim is a bit off. The lamp hits the floor near the Troll and shatters, leaving a pool of oil.
D'artagnan Pennysworth Buttondown continues to flutter around Yagra.
Kevin: A bonfire magically sprouts out of the fallen Troll's torso. Soon the monster's body is engulfed in magic flame, ending any chance it would have to regenerate.
The Troll is defeated, but all three Stirges remain. The one removed from Randy turns on Yagra, the one removed from Dewey turns on Durnan, and the third was so well distracted that it attacks D'artagnan Pennysworth Buttondown.
Stirge 1 vs Yagra: Attack: 12 Damage: 4
Stirge 2 vs Durnan: Attack: 10Damage: 4
Stirge 3 vs D'artagnan Pennysworth Buttondown: Attack: 16 Damage: 6
Durnan dodges the needle nose of the Stirge, but Yarga gets pierced in the neck. The Stirge trying to feed on D'artagnan Pennysworth Buttondown is left confused and still hungry when the bat blinks out of existence, leaving no physical form behind.
Randy continues to yell into the stirge's mind while throwing another Mind Sliver at it. The stirge must make a 13 intelligence saving throw or take 5 damage!!
OOC: Last turn I said I would get as close to the troll as possible but have not moved. I imagine that, with the move rendered, I am close to Durnan and the Stirge near him?
That said, Kevin uses his scimitar to attack the Stirge.
As soon as the last monster falls, the staff comes out of their hiding places and start fixing up the place. They remove broken mugs and upright fallen chairs and tables. The customers slowly come out of their hiding places to gawk at the burnt Troll. There is one person however, that is not focused on the Troll, he is in awe of you all. He's foppishly dressed and applauds the party. "Amazing! Magnificent! Simply Superb! I assume you're the adventurers I asked to meet, am I right? I could use your help. Let's find a table to talk, shall we?"
You all find a not destroyed table and while you do the tavern slowly returns to its natural state of revelry. It takes five men to push the Troll's body into the yawning portal for which the inn is named. The man orders a round for the table and when Bonnie brings the ale over, the tray includes healing potions for those that are injured. "On the house," she says.
(OOC: Instead of rolling for HP, let's just say the potions healed everyone up to max who isn't already.)
The figure who approached you strokes his mustache, adjusts his floppy hat, and tightens his scarf. "Volothamp Geddarm, chronicler, wizard, and celebrity, at your service. I trust you've noted the violence in our fair city these past tendays. I haven't seen so much blood since my last visit to Baldur's Gate! But now I fear I have misplaced a friend amid this odious malevolence. "My friend's name is Floon Blagmaar. He's got more beauty than brains, and I worry he took a bad way home a couple nights ago and was kidnapped-or worse. If you agree to track him down with all due haste, I can offer you ten dragons apiece now, and I can give you each ten times that when you find Floon. May I prevail upon you in my hour of need?"
(OOC: a "dragon" is the name of a gold piece in Waterdeep.)

Fed up with this pest problem, Durnan uses his massive greatsword on teeny creature. If this wasn't a matter of life and death, it would seem comical.
