OOC: The slope is 20 feet wide at the base, so the three on the ground could move side by side but keep in mind that Aradurk and Gruun will be blinded while doing so. Norry is staying behind you for the moment.
Killian strikes out with a necrotic hand; as it grips the shambling alternate form of Aradurk, the creature dissolves quickly into the slimy ichor that begins to coat the slope ahead of you. Gruun barrels forward, easily tossing his alternate aside, where it falls ten feet to the ground and explodes in a swarm of small insects.
Two more alternates are now fifty feet ahead of you, with another pair fifty feet further than that. Between you and them, the ichor has coated the mountainside, running slowly toward you.
Tentacle vs. Hox: 22Damage: 18
For Hox:
You crest the top of the mountain finally, catching a glimpse of the statue that stands on its peak. Nearly a thousand feet tall, the man that it depicts has his palm outstretched toward the heavens. You can just make out the runes circling a cavity on the palm of the statue's hand when a massive tentacle appears from the clouds, slamming into your back. The tentacle seems to strike directly inside of your mind, momentarily incapacitating you and knocking you from the sky.
You fall to a ledge along the side of the mountain, taking 21 bludgeoning damage further. You can see the rest of your party hundreds of feet below you slowly making their charge toward the peak. The illusion in the sky now dispelled, you can also see Shothotugg's full form once more, along with its multitude of writhing tentacles, though the fear that struck you when you arrived has not returned with it.
Killian lets the darkness dissipate. "Gruun has the idea, push them off!" she says, as her companions can now see her and the slope under their feet. She will sheath her sword and instead shove them when she encounters them. As for the ichor... any chance to jump over it?

OOC: Need to know what Aradurk, Gruun, and Hox are doing here before I advance any further. Are Aradurk and Gruun following Killian through the ichor, or do they have some other idea to make it to the peak? How is Hox reacting?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gruun will keep to his plan of getting up the path as fast as they can, it' been working so far. He'll attempt to jump across and pause to try and help pull the others over as well. Acrobatics: 17
OOC: Or not I guess, wasn't planning on picking to be a human bridge but here we are.
(The alternates are on a slope, right? Is it a gradual slope up to the top or does it curve around the mountain? Asking since I have the idea of using my ball bearings to trip up alternates on the slope. In theory it should trip up them without damaging them but I'd want your say first, Barty.)
OOC: It does wind around the mountain, but all of the alternates that have been described are in sight, so it would be possible for the ball bearings to reach the remaining four alternates.
Giving some time for Aradurk's action and for Hox's based on the new information.
Hox shakes off the dirt from his crash and looks about. Something struck him out of the sky, seemingly making that approach more dangerous. Yet the party was still below him, still advancing through the crowd. He thinks of using the ball bearings like in the city, but that'd just make an obstacle for the party. He takes another look to the sky and shakes his head. He instead takes a piton out and starts to hammer it into his current foothold. Afterwards, he tries to hide himself, not to attract attention from the alternates or the thing from the sky.

Aradurk leaps from dry spot to dry spot, avoiding the pooling ichor and coming face to face with his own shambling alternate. Killian is not quite as nimble, avoiding most of the slime but feeling some splash across the joints of her leg armor. The ichor burns, assaulting the nerves and dealing 17 poison damage and slowing her limbs. Gruun, in an attempt to leap past a pool of the substance, finds his feet stuck to the mountain slope like glue. The bugbear plunges into the mountainside itself, as if the ichor has somehow grown and buried itself ten feet deep despite its shallow appearance. Tentacles writhe and thrash inside as Gruun faces some unknown menace within. Norry growls and grits his teeth through pain, finding a similar fate to Killian in his attempt to circumnavigate the slime.
Hox, somewhere up above, is nowhere to be seen.
For Gruun:
Tentacle: 15 Tentacle: 13 Tentacle: 10
A large, green, squid-like aquatic menace faces you down in what appears to be an endless pool of ichor. Fighting through the burn of the substance, your keen senses allow to swim quickly past its oncoming tentacles as they attempt to slam into you.
Killian's movement speed has been reduced by 10. Gruun and Norry have taken half of Killian's damage and are not slowed.
Killian and Aradurk are now within 5 feet of the nearest alternates. The slope has narrowed to the point that Aradurk can no longer see while within 15 feet of Killian.
(Killian dispelled the darkness in #1247, sorry I did not make it more explicit.)
Grunting with the effort, she will attempt to shove the alternate nearest her off the slope, much as Gruun did previously. Athletics (at disadvantage for Poisoned): 18

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
OOC: Nah that's my miss, thank you for pointing that out. Killian does not have the poisoned condition, though - the only effect other than the poison damage is her slowed speed. The first roll was an 18 + 9, so this Athletics check will be a 27.
OOC: Yep, Killian's darkness has been dispelled, so everyone can see the alternates ahead clearly. Killian is moving to try and shove one off of the side - once Aradurk, Gruun, and Hox's next actions are in, I can advance.
Killian tosses an alternate version of herself easily over the side of the slope, where it tumbles down the mountainside, leaving a trail of ichor before effectively turning into a new pool itself where it comes to rest. The opening clear, Aradurk takes it, charging past toward the further pair of creatures. Gruun emerges from the pool he had fallen in, hacking at the tentacles that attempt to drag him back in. The barbarian drips with slime, but seems to remain in good health.
Hox, from his perch, sees Aradurk below him now. Both of them also see the pair of creatures that stand between the party and the mountain summit: two nameless horrors, smaller but otherwise identical to the nightmarish creature that rose from the murky liquid prior to your last "death". One of them blinks away, leaving a purplish arcane haze behind, as the other slowly walks down the mountain toward Aradurk.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Killian will move up behind Aradurk, twisting the air with her fingers, speaking a foul word, causing a spectral hand to materialize by the nameless horror, clawing at it.
Chill Touch: 26 to hit, for 12 necrotic damage. If a hit, no hp recovery until start of Killian's next turn, and fwiwi, disadvantage to attack Killian until the end of Killian's next turn.
