This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The tentacle knocks Amathile down and next thing he knows he's getting a cold. He scrambles to the surface of the water and pulls himself out. Not bothering to pick up his shield, he launches into 4 two-handed attacks with his moonblade. Then draws upon his inner reserves and strikes quicker again for another 4 attacks.
Jown Sno tries to pull Maximar out of the water. He is a little miffed at himself for wasting his most powerful ability but it is fine. As long as they don't encounter something too dangerous for the rest of the day, he should be fine.
Gilra is sorely disappointed for missing a good fight. But he's going to gently pull Maimar to the shore with a tentacle and then goes and takes a swim around the lake to see if there's anything interesting there.
(Yeah, not sure if I did something wrong there, but maybe I just let you all be too-strong going in. That was suppose to be a much harder fight than it ended up being. Think the stunned status made a big difference though, since it made the legendary actions useless. I will say that if you hadn't done quite as many criticals that second round things might have changed, as the lurker was probably going to make that next save, and then you would have had to deal with it diving under the water.)
Vaden rushes to aid Jown in helping their friend out of the water, his footing on the water as sure as on solid land due to the water walk spell he had cast earlier.
Jown and Vaden are able to drag the form of Maximar to the relative safety of the ice. When Vaden casts his heal spell on him, he encounters resistance, but manages to force his way through, healing Maximar. His wounds do not fully close though, and he only regains 10 HP.
Blinking his eyes open Maximar says, in a feeble, fevered voice, "Take me home. I wish to die in my own bed, on my own terms."
Jown turns to Vaden and says, "You are better at closing wounds and treating the injured than I am. However, do you suppose that we "pump more healing" into him, more of his wounds will heal? What if we use effects to remove magical effects, curses and diseases from him first?"
OOC: Basically, he's asking if stuff like Greater Restoration, Cleansing Touch and 130 HP worth of Lay on Hands would do Maximar any good.
"No, no amount of healing is going to make a difference." Vaden says with a shake of his head. "I suggest we get him back to his cabin, and see what we can do after that."

Amathile ... Slashes into the lurker with a flurry of steel, becoming a whirlwind of death. The lurker is sorely wounded.
Six Coins ... hits the night lurker with 2 arrows, doing damage as both bolts drive in deep. The lurker sinks into the water, unmoving.
Combat is ended.
As the night lurker floats on the water, it simply fades away, leaving your mentor floating on the surface, barely breathing.
