Watching the man spider run off, Nyx flattens herself up against the northern side of the corridor and taking her hand crossbow out as she moves, walks up to the end of the corridor and looks into the room infront of her.
OCC Round 10: Move to the end of the corridor, bonus action Hide.

For the AoO, Baeshra would attempt another grappling bite. Athletics: 12
If the grapple succeeded, he'll give another roarscream and attack, if not, he'll advance slowly forward 20 feet, dodgeing any incoming attacks before retreating back to where he started.
Oh that's a good idea! However, it seems that the grapple requires an Action, and the AoO is a reaction, so you can't grapple as an Attack of Opportunity.
Do you still want to advance 20 feet forward, dodgeing attacks and then retreat back?

OWlbear Wis Save: 10. Owlbear gives a chirp roar and bounds down the cliff. Athletics: 13. He bounces down the cliff, all 4 legs helping quite a bit, jumps over the creek and makes it about halfway up the other side.
Whistler breathes a sigh of relief as he watches Owlbear make his ascent, then Whistler heads for the darkness, trying to follow Nyx. Survival: 12. Whistler bounces off the far wall, gets turned around, but then emerges out of the pool of black and gets partway up the stairs, stopping right behind Baeshra.
Lyngheid uses her full movement and Droops help to get to the top, and then dashes forward.

Cracked marble pillars line the walls, and at the north end stands a nine-foot-tall statue of a dwarf seated on a throne with a mighty stone warhammer across his lap. Large emeralds gleam in the statue's eyes.
More pressingly however, you see several bugbears, the man-spider running toward the statue and out of the corner of your eye the tell-tall legs of a giant spider. One on each side of the door.
Giant Spider's held Web attack: 22. A thick web covers you and for the moment you are restrained.
Ireniana prepares to wage battle and moves into the hallway.
Umbriel makes it through the darkness as well, holding at the bottom of the stairs.
Spoiler for Baeshra:
The giant spider to the north skitters up the wall and gets a little closer to you. The southern giant spider climbs up the wall and approaches the passageway as well.
The man-spider runs to the temple, then turns around. "Step into the parlour, little fly! Oh, you can't!" And then he cackles.
BB4 throws a javelin at you: 13, and it hits, doing 8 piercing damage. You hear a voice shout something in goblin, but you aren't sure what it said.
Rosie takes a deep breath and then runs after Umbriel. She hits the far wall, turns south and tries to walk straight forward. "Umbriel? Whistler?"
Droop follows as best as he can, but panics when he gets into the darkness. Survival: 14. He stumbles around in a circle before bumping into Umbriel. Or maybe Whistler. He isn't sure.
Nyx can't see anything, with no light source in this part of the hallway, but still manages to very stealthily creep forward down the hall, running her hand and dagger along the left wall. Spoiler for Nyx:
You hear a wet thudding sound and a grunt from Baeshra. You've heard this sound before, and you place it as a web from a giant spider enveloping something living.
Lyngheid plodded up the stairs with her mace alight, coming to the edge of the darkness he continued through, " Who ever heard of a dwarf afraid of the dark"
When her mace touched the wall, or someone she adjusted her heading until she was out of the darkness.
When she reached Whistler she nodded and charged onwards up the stairs.
As soon as you clear the pool of darkness, your darkvision kicks back in and you see another flight of stairs and part of Umbriel and Whistler (the other parts are still in the darkness).
As you dash up the stairs, you see Dino-Baeshra, entangled in a thick web, with Nyx right next to him, not Entangled in the web, though. When you get behind Baeshra you can see that the passageway opens into a room with at least one bugbear visible, and giant spider legs creeping around the wall towards Nyx.
Rosie has been using her light spell, but the darkness spell extinguished it when she went through. she'll cast another one on her turn.
I also looked at her and Whistler's inventories. Everyone's got their torches back on the cart, none with them!
Also, I should note that no one (the bad guys or your party) know that you are hidden against the wall right there. I would think you can hear them coming up behind you though.
