OCC: Nyx will always suggest to split gold, but i don't mind what the group wants to do.

"Agreed. His glowers do not improve my mood. Let's turn him in, collect our reward, and be on our way soon. Baeshra, you said you wanted a tattoo?"

(at some point during the journey, Umbriel would have cast Detect Magic on Nyx's necklace to see what kind of magic it emanates.)

(also Umbriel might look into getting a tattoo as well) 

OCC: Nyx can now cast Identify which she can do on the necklace as a ritual spell. I also believe we still need to identity the items we liberated from the mage tower as well?

You find another wanted poster, and it takes you to the headquarters for the Axe of Mirabar, where a friendly, greying dwarf clad in Plate male and adorned with handaxes greets you.  "Good evening!  What can The Axe of Mirabar do for you tonight?"

Nyx: While traveling you were able to identify the necklace as a Necklace of Fireballs (Nice roll, by the way!)

What were the other items from the mage tower that you mentioned?

Ireniana looks over her supplies and turns to everyone. "I don't know what everyone's plans are, but other than restocking our supplies, I'm gonna get a tattoo and possibly see if there's any magical bows or blades I can find while I'm here."

Nyx smiles at the dwarf.

"Well my friend, I am Nyx and these are my companions Ireniana, Umbriel, Whistler, Baeshra, Lyngheid and Droop. And I would say it's really more about what I can do for you?"

"You see we have just journeyed up from Xantharl's Keep and aside from laying low an evil Frost Giant that hunted the roads, we have collected some cargo I think you may be after. A person by the name of the Weevil... bound and ready to be handed over for that reward your posters mention."

Also back in post #5637 we took two potions of healing, a Potion of Stone Giant Strength, a potion that you haven't seen before, and 7 small black spheres about 3/4 of an inch in diameter from the mage tower. No one had identify at the time so we never found out what the unnamed potion of the black spheres are. Unless I complete forgot.

Whistler slumps The Weevil onto the floor.

(Let's just split the 700, its an easy enough split, and so far we don't really have much we've needed to spend party funds on.)

Baeshra nods to Umbriel, "Yes, druidic tattoos of power to give me greater abilities in my other forms. But I suppose they could work on softskins like you and Ireniana as well. I wonder if I might find some other druidic magics here as well..." 

After turning in the Weevil, Baeshra will head off, with Ireniana and Umbriel if they'd like, to go find a good tattooist and ask about where to find some other magical items in town as well.

(If we're splitting the reward with Harshnag, its 625 each. Unless Nyx can talk our way into a greater reward for defeating Kaltivar the Frost Giant and his small army as well?)

 Nice, thanks!  Yes, with the pearl that Baeshra mentioned in the OOC chat, you are able to identify all of those items.  The black spheres are  bead of force, and the potion is a Potion of invulnerability

 Harshnag is not interested in the reward for the Weevil.  Droop is too excited about all the fresh horse meat that he is salting, and refuses to take any new shinies.  So The Weevil's reward is divided by 6.

The first dwarf turns to the party: "This is Captain Amber, the leader of the Axe of Mirabar.  Captain, these fine folks have brought The Weevil and claim they fell Kaltivar as well."

Captain Amber looks you over.  "Is that so?  Describe him for me.  Did you bring any proof of his death?"

Lyngheid held up the teddy bear, " This was the only thing of note on him."

"Whistler is Giant-Slayer!" mimics the very proud Kenku, posing as heroically as possible.

Umbriel pulls out the Dark Shard amulet, and says "I might be able to show you what he looked like,"

If it's over a ten, he will cast Minor Illusion to create an image of Kaltivar. 

(womp, womp - he just describes Kaltivar in exacting detail.)

"As you can see, we are freeing the North of villainy. You can easily check, just follow the main road back south for a day and a half and you will find not only the vile giant, but his hobgoblin, ogre and bugbear sidekicks, dead. Now I am sure Kaltivar must have had a price on his head as well and a steep one at that? We would be happy to avail ourselves of this as well"

"I know you probably have questions about our integrity but I tell you, we are solid. If you need to ask anyone well Narbeck would be the person to talk to. Not only would I call Narbeck a friend of ours but he was instrumental in pointing us in the direction of the Weevil. That man is a credit to the defense of the North and an inspiration to the soldiers that are stationed with him."

I so should have put Expertise in Persuasion. It's by far my most useful skill. Do I maybe get advantage from Umbriel's help or my mentioning of Narbeck the Mighty?

(5000 divided by 6 is funny math, but we can do 800gp each with 200 into the party fund?)

Baeshra nods, "If you want, you can come outside the city with us to ask the member of Force Grey we came upon as well. Harshnag would tell you we're not lying."

Nyx sings the tale of Narbeck the magnificent and Captain Amber starts to nod.

Ouch!

While everyone is talking, another member of The Axe comes in and whispers in Captain Amber's ear.

When Baeshra speaks up after Nyx finishes her ballad, Captain Amber looks surprised. "Harshnag?  Oh, that's great, we've been looking for him." And she sends a runner out to find him.

While everyone waits, Captain Amber has dinner brought in, platters of cheese and snausage and mugs of Ale.  Droop happily devours everything on his plate.

The runner finally returns bearing a message for Captain Amber, she reads it and nods then looks up.

"Well, it would appear your story checks out.  Reports from the road do tell of a recent battle with Kaltivar who was slain and left lying by the road.  Harshnag confirmed it was you.  I guess you get the bonus bounty!"

She pulls out one large coin sack and a smaller coin sack and tosses them to Nyx.  "Six thousand gold.  Don't spend it all at once."

It's late, but the party manages to find a comfortable inn, with rooms for everyone, 2 gold each.

A long rest is had.  Morning arrives, and you are able to find a magic shop that has a backroom tattoo parlor.  Who's getting what?

Mirabar has most everything else for weapons and adventuring equipment and a few magic items as well.  It's also got a teleportation circle if you want to shop elsewhere.

Nyx smirks like her story did the trick, and turns with a wink to the rest of them while holding two bags worth 6000 gold.

Ireniana is getting a tattoo. When she gets back there, she sees the Eldritch Claw description and nods. "Can you make it into a fist instead of a claw?"

Nyx would look around for weapons and armour that interest her and she defiantly slips for a trip to Waterdeep if she can't find anything that takes her fancy.
