Seeing Zogar move brings joy to Hrothgar in this dire situation. He looks back to the others to watch Hastings starting to battle the knight. They could not lose hope yet and Hrothgar knew they wouldnt but he wanted to boost their morale a bit more.
He starts shouting You will not defeat us lich, your minions fall and you shall follow!
Bonus action: Second wind to heal 22 and with Rallying Cry will heal 13 hp for 3 allied people: targets are Lia, Zogar and Emma (but dont think i can heal Emma since its a construct so if i cant ill target Hastings). (@DM did not add any healing yet since you manage hp)
Hrothgar will then run towards Hastings and the death knight (assuming i can reach him).
Knowing the power of the death knight Hrothgar will want to make sure to take him down quickly taking out his trusted longsword along the way. He burst into motion when reaching the death knight. Hrothgar positions his sword downward with the point next to his left leg then slashes diagonally across the knights body.
First Sword Attack: 13 Damage: 11
Drawing back his sword he lunges forward to stab the knight hoping to find a weaker spot in its armor
Second Sword Attack: 25 Damage: 7
He ends his assault with another overhand swing of his blade hoping one of his slashes hit its mark.
Lia casts misty step appearing next to Emma on the stairs.
She then uses her staff to cast Globe of Invulnerability on herself. It would also protect Emma, since Emma is next to her.
Lia directs Emma to the Liche's location, thanks to her tressym still being able to see it. The tressym moves away, back towards Emma and Lia as Emma casts freezing sphere at 7th level. She would place it high enough to not catch her companions but to get the liche above them.
Once done with her freezing sphere Emma would send the ten spikes up to attack the liche directly. They have blindsight so would not be fooled by invisibility...

Will roll additional damage below for the four, ignore one of them if it is not valid.)

Hastings is going to move to stab at the Deathknight once again, wanting to end the thing quickly as he feels his confidence grow now that one of his companions is close.
Rapier: Attack: 33 Damage: 14
Sneak Attack: 26
Dagger: Attack: 22 Damage: 2
(So Sneak Attack will be on the dagger since that hit.)
Knowing he has to go big to penetrate Lia's orb, Zogar pivots her way, pushes out his shield, emblazoned with the three intertwined rings of Mythrien Sarath and casts Heal on Lia.
Lia heals for 70.
He then moves her way, interposing his larger body and powerful shield between the women and the lich.
Between the freezing sphere and the spikes, the lich's concentration is broken as he becomes visible again standing ragged in the air above the party. Floating downward, he lands near the party scoffing in his gruff voice, "I shall fall? You are most correct little warrior. I will undoubtedly fall, as i have many times before.... this is a small hindrance for myself. I shall return though, and next time I'll exact vengeance for what you've done today. As you lot have taken someone special from me, so shall I return the favor. When you make an enemy out of a lich, you make an enemy for the rest of your life. Before I die though, I'll make sure I take someone with me for good measure."
Kor'Zakal begins to cackle as he nods to Vargath, the knight holding out it's hand with a swirl of yellow and black light coalescing in it. Rearing back his hand to throw the orb at the ground, the lich locks eyes with Zogar and with a menacing grin says, "Shield her all you want orc, I'll take her in the long run... time is on my side, not yours. Now you can kindly DIE."
Looking smug, he stands there for a moment before he realises Zogar is still standing unharmed. Looking back he sees the knight, his arm down as he had attempted to throw his orb which no longer existed. Confusion on his face, he looks around wildly, "What have you done?!?"
As you look around, you notice Lia's Globe of invulverability is gone, as well as Emma, Hrothgar's sun blade is no longer active nor is anyone else's potentially magic abilities working.
"Things not going your way Kor'Zakal?"
You look up and see floating above you a figure you thought you would never see in your lifetime..... Szass Tam.
Aerdeth is mid-draw of Obliviation, hoping to finally fell this undead foe - when suddenly a shudder wracks his body. He doesn't know why - adrenaline was coursing through his veins, victory was close, a hard-fought victory at that. Obliviation ceases its howling, and suddenly he feels cut off from the Shadowfell.
Then, the reason becomes apparent. All his magical abilities cut off, his flight ceases and he drops right back down thirty feet. Looking up he sees Szass Tam - and his blood turns to ice. This was a rout, now. Everything he was, everything his patron stood for, was opposed to the two figures above him. But they were out of their league.
"Everyone else is dead," he shouts to his companions. It was a matter of fact. Their reinforcements should have been here by now, and while the other companies could fight off vampires and death knights, the most powerful lich in Faerun would have made short work of them. Keeping his bow drawn and ready, but refraining from firing, he moves away from the center of the pit, towards the edge of the platform.

As Vargath the knight moves to throw his orb Hrothgar prepares to react to it but stops as the knight does and looks up.
All magic fading in Szass Tam's presence. Unsure of who the figure is but by the sheer power and description would assume it to be Szass, of the legion of bone. Fatigued by the combat so far Hrothgar gazes around once more to see where his allies are. Trying to spot members of the Iron Dragon or Elite Hammers.
(perception 16)
(@DM: Would Helios, the griffon, have returned to its statue form with this anti magic stuff? I assume the statue would be with one of the other parties then.)
Hrothgar will not yet speak to the liches, not trying to draw attention yet and hoping they would first fight eachother. It is unlikely they would be able to win a battle with such a foe, specially now that they had been fighting Kor'Zakal and his forces. He looks around to see if he can find an exit for his team. Fully prepared to hold off the liches as best he can while his companions escape, but knowing they would most likely fight to the very end alongside him.
Unsure of how this will play out Hrothgar holds his shield firmly and watches Szass and Kor'Zakal.
"Well fudge..." Lia growls as magic stops working. (How does this affect Emma and the owl familiar? Also exchange fudge for a more fitting f-word, just not sure how pg-rated I should keep things.)
Mythrien Sarath moves in mysterious ways, and Zogar is pleased that he survived what was clearly a very unpleasant spell, but he's concerned that his connection to his god is suddenly muted. This is new in his experience.
Noticing the confused look on Lia's face and the sudden disappearance of Emma, Zogar realizes that while he might have it bad, at least he's wearing armor. He grips his mace tightly, raises his shield and puts his body between Lia and the liches. At the very least, he'll protect his vulnerable friend, with his life if he must.
Hastings curses and readies his rapier and dagger, not knowing how much he can do against the license. One was bad enough but two was beyond anything he knew. Despite the fact he felt part of him wanting to turn tail and run, another yelled for him to at least end the Deathknight. "My friends I think this is the part where we cut our losses and make a tactical withdraw..."
The word slips out slowly as Kor'Zakal peers up at the powerful lich floating above. Nearby, the death knight slowly lowers himself to one knee looking down rather than look at Szass Tam.
"Did you think I would not find you Kor'Zakal? Did you think you could take my possessions and part of my army and hide from me forever?", Szass asked with a chuckle.
Kor'Zakal snarled, "She was never your possession!"
At this Szass began to laugh, "I wasn't referring to the drow."
Kor'Zakal lifted his hands, displaying four rings, two on each hand, "You rarely ever looked at them, like so many other treasures you hoard to yourself. They sat collecting dust."
"So you just thought you would take them, the drow, and a portion of my army and make yourself a new lich wife and then what... stake some kind of claim here?", Szass countered.
Kor'Zakal clenched his fists. "If your going to destroy me then get on with it. My vengeance on you will come soon enough, as I've been telling the daring heroes here, I've got time."
Szass grinned and reached into his robes and pulled out an amulet with a large blue crystal in the middle, "Because of this? You thought you hid it so well."
If a lich had blood, it would have drained from Kor'Zakal's face at that moment. "No!"
With a look towards your group, Szass chuckles, "To the victor go the spoils..."
With a toss of the lich's hand, the amulet drops down onto the platform between Hrothgar and Kor'Zakal, and Szass laughs one last time before waving his hand, curling within himself with an audible pop. Suddenly things return to normal as magic returns to the area and Emma and her familiar fade back into existence.
As Szass pulls out the amulet and hearing what both liches have to say Hrothgar will assume its Kor'Zakal's phylactery.
With the toss of the amulet Hrothgar wastes no time to sprint towards it (not sure if Vargath would get a reaction, i think hes kneeling near me, Hrothgar will take it if needed). He will use Dash to reach/grab it and have enough movement to run towards Zogar and Lia. Hrothgar will not look at the lich but stay focussed on moving towards his allies.
If he reaches them he will use action surge to go the extra mile in this decisive moment. Quick Zogar, use your hammer! He says almost out of breath, knowing Zogars hammer is blessed with divine power. Unsure of what is needed to destroy the phylactery and the lich in the process.
With my inspiring surge i can let 1 creature within 60ft do a melee or ranged weapon attack using its reaction when i action surge. So Zogar can use his reaction to get the first chance to destroy this thing.
I would still have an action from my surge which Hrothgar used. If Zogars attack does not destroy it Hrothgar would attack it as well (can roll if needed, not sure how strong this thing is).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Confused by the shifts in magic and the unexpected appearance of a second lich, Zogar snaps back to reality when Hrothgar calls him to action. The Hammer...The Forge. This, at least, he knew.
Acting with reflexes he didn't even know he had, Zogar lashes out at the amulet, bringing hammer to anvil, or in this case, mace to floor, he uses all his might and unleashes the Holy Power of The Forge in an attempt to destroy the accursed item.
Divine Strike (Special)
Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1D8 fire damage. [14th] 2d8 Fire Damage
Hastings will move towards the sphere and will keep his weapons at the ready. Once he gets to them he will then do his best to take a defensive stance.

Aerdeth doesn't understand the conflict between two abominations, but he understands the result. Seeing his allies gather around the discarded, bauble, he grits his teeth. They had already received one brutal chain lightning. They couldn't suffer another, and Lia's defenses had already faltered once.
No, they needed time.
Aerdeth once more ascends, his bow thrumming as he fires two eldritch arrows towards Kor'Zakal.
