Grunting at the force of blows taken, Yed seemingly ignores the wounds on his body as he angrily moves to smash the skull of one of the ruffians near him. Utilizing his large Warhammer, and with a powerful two handed swing,
Big Bear's body is covered in fur as he shifts into the form of a mountain lion. Yed swings wildly and blindly.

Still feeling the call of bloodlust Yed roars with anger and will swing his large Warhammer at the bandit Shamash has killed. After a couple of seconds, or at least a single swing, just crushing the corpse with the hammer Yed stops yelling and drops the large weapon. He will look to his hands with gritted blood stained teeth and punch the ground with incredible force. Standing up again he will pick up the Warhammer once again, dragging the gore across the ground towards the entrance of the Sleeping Giant. He growls under his breathe, “F***ing thugs...bandits ...monsters all of them.”His large, calloused hands tightly grip the battle-stained Warhammer. He stops just short of the door, his hulking muscular form just standing there with his bloodied weapon in hand, glaring circles into the closed entrance with an impatient energy. “Are you lot ready?” He calls back to the party in an unfamiliar, at least to them in the time they’ve known Yed, booming and angry voice.
"Much appreciated, Shamash, I had a feeling that persistent thug would have caused far more issues if he had closed the distance between us again." Doc smiles as he shoulders his bow once more.
"Of course, Yed." He replies, only mildly surprised by the shift in attitude.

The group bursts through the doors of the Sleeping Giant, ready to keep fighting. Instead, they enter a quiet tavern room. It's empty except for a couple surly miners nursing drinks in a corner and the bartender. The bartender looks up from wiping the counter when you burst in. Although he's initially frightened, he starts talking once the tension defuses. He explains that the Redbrands have driven off almost all of his business, so that he can barely pay the upkeep on the tavern. He thanks you for standing up to them, although he warns you to be wary of reprisals. He says he'll deal with the bodies for you. If you want to look around, he lets you. You find nothing besides what you would expect to find in a normal tavern. Most of it is old and dusty.
The sun is high in the sky and it's time for the group to go to their meeting with Sildar and the Townmaster. The townmaster’s hall has sturdy stone walls, a pitched wooden roof, and a bell tower at the back. Posted on a board next to the front door is a notice written in Common. It reads: “REWARD—Orcs near Wyvern Tor! Those of a mind to face the orc menace should inquire within.” The notice bears the town’s seal and an indecipherable signature.
When you enter, Sildar greets you enthusiastically. "Hello, friends! Glad to see you. I've got some news, and someone I'd like you to meet." He leads you into a side room with a large table surrounded by chairs. At the far end of the table sits a fat and balding human. He stands up to greet you, shaking your hands. "Welcome, welcome. I'm Townmaster Harbin Wester. Sildar's told me about you." In another one of the chairs sits a half-elf woman. Sildar introduces her. "This is Evzeen, she's here to help."
Sildar catches you up on what they've talked about so far. "Firstly, I think that now you're in town, it's the perfect time to crush the Redbrands once and for all!" The townmaster interjects. "Sildar, I'm still not sure that's a good idea... You don't know what those ruffians are like!" Sildar says "Nonsense! You can't allow them to keep terrorizing your town. The townmaster has his doubts, but I've convinced him to reward you with 200 gold coins if you can eliminate the Redbrand threat." Sildar pauses for breath. "Now, Orlane will never prosper until the roads here can be safely traveled. To this end, I am personally offering a 500 gold reward to whoever can find that Cragmaw Castle and eliminate the leader of the tribe. Unfortunately, we still don't have any leads on where it might be found. I'm guessing it can't be too far though, so they can get to the road for their damn raids."
Switching topic, Sildar continues. "Remember that guy I was talking about who was supposed to set up here before me? Iarno Albrek? Turns out he did arrive, about two months ago, but then a couple days later he disappeared while exploring the area around Tresendar Manor. He's probably dead, but I'd still be mighty thankful if y'all could investigate the manor, maybe find out what happened. He's a short, dark-bearded wizard in his thirties. If you find him, bring him back—or what’s left of him, if something killed him."
Sildar gestures to the half-elf. "Evzeen here has offered to help you eliminate the Redbrands, and maybe the rest of this mess too." He sits down heavily in one of the chairs. "Well, I think that's about it. Any questions?"

Ezveen sits upright in her chair with the hood of her maroon cloak pulled over her head. Her long, straight brown hair and pale face are unmistakably elvish, while her slightly round face gives away her human heritage. Her bare arms rest on the table with her left hand tracing the dark tattooed ring on her right arm. She speaks without looking up.
"Hello. You all seem very capable. The Redbrands can't be allowed to continue on their destructive path, and I would be lying to say the situation surrounding Cragmaw Castle did not intrigue me."
Her tone is surprisingly normal. Ezveen raises her hands to remove her hood.
"I look forward to accompanying you all, if you will allow me."
Ezveen looks at you all with a faint smile on her young face. She might even be considered friendly if not for the touch of reservedness in her voice and the hollow look in her eye.
Doc says cordially. Lowering into a polite half-bow.
"I am Doctor Elias Jennings; though everyone simply calls me Doc. Your assistance would be welcome, as I'm sure you've been informed, our leads regarding the whereabouts of our employer is merely the name of Cragmaw Castle. While we are spinning our wheels, so to speak, there's no reason we cannot attempt to clean up the obvious threat these redbrand cut-throats pose to the town."
Doc turns to Sildar.
"We'll search for this Iarno as well, or at least some sign as to his fate. Hopefully we can get some answers to some of these questions at least."

Calming down after the battle Yed follows the party silently, somewhat embarrassed at his angry episode from before. He just really can’t stand seeing men like that...
Once arriving to the meeting Yed will look particularly interested hearing that they will now be responsible for clearing out these bandits for good. His fist tightens unconsciously as he yearns to rid all monsters like them from the land. Being introduced to Ezveen, Yed stands at the back of the group and only nods with a smile in her direction in recognition, before once again resuming his staring contest with floor. He seems in a dreamlike but open eyed state throughout the entire meeting.
During the meeting, Shamash keeps vacilating between nerves and a newfound confidence. As they speak about plans to destroy the Redbrands, and an even better job of cleaning up Cragmaw Castle, he perks up. This is the sort of thing he went into adventuring to do, finding those who prey on the weak, and bringing a little bit of divine justice down upon them. Completing these tasks may atone for some of...what happened with his last group.
But everytime he looks on the half-elf, with her smooth confidence, he nervously fumbles with the red cords around his wrist. When she finishes talking, he looks to Big Bear and Doc for guideance, and once Doc speaks up, the hulking dragonborn mumbles something along the lines of "nice to have you with us." He can't quite bring himself to make eye contact just yet.
Once the Sleeping Giant Inn is revealed to be safe, Big Bear returns to his usual, somewhat round form. "Hmmm, well that's new. Never been able to do that before."
At the meeting, Big Bear listens carefully to the three perceived tasks ahead of the group. When introduced to Evzeen, Big Bear's warm, almost trademarked belly laugh seems to bubble out of the rather tall, jolly looking half orc. "Well, I'll be. We needed a new teammate, and you appear to be exactly what we needed!" He extends a hand "Name's Ronald Foster, but everyone calls me Big Bear." Big Bear is a rather tall, half orc man, very stout almost as wide as he is tall (He was a cattle rancher throughout his life). He wears a red plaid, flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, his chest is peeking through since the top few buttons are left undone, with a rather thick mat of hair, matching his thick, furry arms. It's pretty apparent where the knickname comes from. At his side as a beautifully carved walking staff with mosaics of nature carved along the wood, at the top sit 3 totems that look freshly carved and painted: A soaring eagle sits atop a sitting unicorn which in turn sits atop a crouching bear
