"Oh, aren't you a polite one," Melody smiles and curtsies a little. "Melody at your services Monsieur Stratos," she introduces herself. "Now, how does such a powerful entity such as youself get trapped making a goblin so big he'll never be able to have proper fun ever again?"

He sighs again. Now that is a very long story going back many, many years. Suffice it to say, a Noble Djinni such as myself would not be granting wishes for the likes of him had he a choice. He solidifies, now standing on two legs. He's humanoid looking, and handsome, with blue-tinted skin and muscular features. He looks back over his shoulder at the goblin, who's beginning to look angry. To summarize, you rubbed the lamp, and you may deal with this buffoon should you so choose.

Gribble starts forward, "Ok, enough talk smoke man. You give lamp back now." His legs catch on the rope, however, and he begins falling forward.

"Well then," Melody laughs, "I suppose it't time to shrink this goblin back down his original size and strength I think, if you can." Though the goblin starting to fall foreward had started to make her worried, she starts backing up out of the fall radius

Auric:

Seeing the colossal goblin falling towards Melody, Auric leaps into action!  Dropping his Lance, he urges his mount into a flat-out charge, attempting to speed under the falling goblin and save his friend from being smushed by grabbing her with his arm and pulling her to safety.

You leap backward as Auric rushes forward, and you're able to grab on as he takes you out of harm's way. The djinni disappears in a puff of smoke, reappearing in the air as the goblin hits the ground with an earth-shattering crash. He smiles, snaps his fingers, and the goblin begins shrinking back down to normal size. "NOOO...NOOOOOO" Gribble wails as Mal'thrae's ropes collapse to the ground, covering a now tiny goblin. "Gribble no strong no more!" he sobs.

The djinni floats back to the ground, looking rather satisfied. Shouts ring out across the plaza as a detachment of the Watch shows up, late as usual. What...what in the hells happened here?! the lead guard manages to sputter out, surveying the scene.

"Officer's thank goodness you've arrived!" Melody says, "this goblin managed to get a hold of several potions that increased his size and strength ten-fold, something needs to be done about it this instant."

Mal’thrae pulls the rope taut, tying the entire goblin up with the same rope.

Gribble whimpers as you tie him up, looking quite defeated.

The guard looks at the tied up goblin, then around at the damage. The goblin caused all this? How were you able to stop it?

"We managed to keep him distracted long enough for the potion to wear off," Melody says, "though I doubt he's the only one. If there are others they haven't shown their faces yet."

The guard nods, and motions to the others. They split off immediately, searching the area. He and another guard grab Gribble and roughly stand him up. Gribble keeps moaning, "Give me back smoke man! Give me back smoke man!"

The hells is he talking about, smoke man? He looks questioningly at the group.

"Smoke man? Never heard of a smoke man before," Melody says.

Urukar frowns in disappointment as the goblin shrinks before his eyes. He lowers and stows his javelin before heading towards Melody and the assembled group.  "What's this about others?  Why are we standing here talking then!?"

"Oh don't worry Urukar," Melody says. "Now that the officers are here I'm sure they'll be able to handle it."

"Hmph.  I doubt it", he grumbles.

Auric:

Not sure exactly what is going on, Auric says to Melody, “I did not see any potions, but I did see a smoky figure from that lamp, Melody.  Are you trying to deceive the members of the watch?”
