And that's how you guys got the sword and LEVELED UP, completing the mission.
Loggers’ Camp Quest. INCOMPLETE!“Deep in Neverwinter Wood, along the river that flows west toward Neverwinter, is a logging camp. Every two months, Phandalin delivers fresh supplies to the camp, which is run by the half-brother of Phandalin’s townmaster, Harbin Wester. Barthen, the local provisioner, has prepared a new delivery. He needs someone to bear the supplies safely to the camp. Return to Harbin Wester with a notice of delivery signed by his half-brother, Tibor Wester, to claim your reward of 100 gp.”
Axeholm Quest.COMPLETE!“Within a mountain fifteen miles south of Phandalin stands the ancient dwarven fortress of Axeholm, which has been sealed for years. If a dragon attack is imminent, the people of Phandalin might need to evacuate and take refuge in Axeholm. To that end, someone needs to open the fortress and make it safe for habitation. Once you accomplish these tasks, return to Townmaster Wester to collect a reward of 250 gp.”
Dragon Barrow Quest. COMPLETE! “The dragon that besets us is not the first to threaten this region. Between here and Neverwinter lies the barrow mound of a warrior whose magical dragon-slaying sword helped fell a green dragon terrorizing the High Road a century ago. Rumor has it the dragon slayer sword is buried there too. Retrieve it, and let the sword be its own reward!”
Woodland Manse Quest. INCOMPLETE!“The orcs have fallen under the sway of evil spellcasters in Neverwinter Wood, and have been sighted in growing numbers near Falcon’s Hunting Lodge. The spellcasters dwell in a ruined manse. Falcon needs someone to make a preemptive strike against it. Destroy the evil in the manse, then expect him to reward you.”
"Touch base with the Logging camp, and then we can diagnose some evil magic orcs with dead." He pauses, wiping a bit of ectoplasm from his blade, his eyes wandering slowly over to the brightly shining magic sword in Tex's hands. He quickly looks back to his own sword, gives the hilt a pat, and stows his weapon.
“Well, that was exciting. Yes, I believe we should assist in getting those supplies to the logging camp, then we can deal with the orc camp.” Tex gives the new sword a couple swings before sheathing it at his side. He looks over at Iri for a moment, she was hit pretty hard by that creature, and that rattled him. “Huh.”

On the wagon ride to the lumber camp, Tex excuses himself from his usual driving job (Whoever wants to take over). Tex finds Vi, "Hey Vi! Can I borrow your sword? I have some leftover modifications that I wanted to try that would compliment your fighting style, AND give you a little surprise for when an enemy gets the drop on you."
IF VI ALLOWS:
Tex coats the blade in a mirror substance, then attaches gems just above the crossguard with meticulous runes etched into them. OOC: I replicated the infusion as a homebrew magic item, " Radiant Shortsword, Infusion". +1 weapon now with a reaction to blind a target that hits you with an attack roll.
After that, Tex will have Fern keep watch for Iri, warning Tex if she comes over [FERN PERCEPTION: 15 ], while he toils away on sewing a dark blue cloak, sewing runes into the lining written in Aquan, swirling into whirlpools of text using precious silver threads. (Almost finished, I figured it would take him like 2 more long rests to finish).

To complete the Loggers’ Camp Quest, you guys must deliver supplies to the camp and have Tibor Wester sign for them. Tibor’s signature assures Harbin Wester that the supplies reached their intended destination. You need to pick up the supplies for the loggers’ camp before setting out. Harbin Wester has made the necessary arrangements with Barthen’s Provisions in Phandalin. The characters need to pick up the supplies for the loggers’ camp before setting out. Barthen tells you that his clerks have filled two crates with supplies as he hands you a sheet of parchment, upon which is written an inventory of the crates’ contents: foodstuffs such as dried meat, blocks of cheese, and loaves of bread, as well as casks of ale and flasks of oil. The two heavy crates are loaded onto a two-wheeled cart pulled by an ox. “The ox’s name is Vincent,” says Barthen. “I’ll expect to see him and the cart returned, thanks.”
The ox is a reliable beast. Each full crate holds enough provisions to sustain twelve people for a month, as long as the supplies are supplemented with fish and fresh water from the camp.
You can travel 24 miles in a day, and the loggers’ camp is roughly 50 miles north of Phandalin. You will need to take a long rest near the halfway point in their journey. You can choose to camp in the woods or veer eastward and spend their long rest at Falcon’s Hunting Lodge.
"Barthen, you don't need to trouble yourself, lending us a cart and oxen. We have a wagon and some horses already." Tex points to their significantly larger vehicle (OOC: The Subaru Forester of land vehicles)

Seeing Tex sitting off by himself, Iri tries to approach, gets fairly close before running into Fern and obsessing over him for a little bit, too distracted to see what Tex was working on.
Upon reaching town, Iri announces she has some shopping to do and is going to drop all of her money on a 300GP gilded flower for summon fey spirit. Upon returning to the group, Iri asks, "So, off to the loggers? I am all for spending the night in the woods, a night under the beautiful stars and moon. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening." Glancing over at Tex, she wonders why he was being so sneaky on the way back to town. When they set off to the loggers, Iri sits up front by Tex and leans her head on his shoulder and just rests there.
Tex thinks over Iri's suggestion, "Well, when you put it like that, it does sound quite nice. If I were to pick, I think the hunting lodge sounds warm, with a fire, mugs of ale, some nice home cooking, but, a nice night under the stars would be good too. I'll go with whatever works for everyone, unless it rains. I don't love sleeping out in the rain."
On the wagon ride north, Tex wraps his cloak around Iri like a blanket, leaning his head over hers.

"The hunting lodge is more defensible, but there is something wonderful about sleeping under the stars on a clear night. I'm good either way. I'll sleep in the cart and stand watch through the night." The drow offers his opinion more freely now to the group, growing more comfortable with them with each passing day.

As night falls and the group begins getting ready to camp for the night, Iri hears a calling from deeper in the woods nearby. Finishing her set up duties, she slips off into the woods. As she makes her way between the trees she begins to see small twinkling lights leading her deeper into the woods. After a little while she wanders into a small clearing. Waiting in the clearing she sees a soft glowing humanoid form sitting cross-legged in the middle of the clearing. In her mind she hears a soft, cool voice, "Hello little one. You have been busy." The figure stands up, bathed in the moonlight, and motions for Iri to join them. "Look up at the stars. They show the way to your future and the future of the world. Learn how to read the night, watch the omens, see how the world unfolds before you." For the next few hours Iri sits under the stars watching, learning, seeing.
After that she slowly gets up and begins to make her way back towards the rest of the group. Looking over at everyone, she smiles, the stars were leading her on the right path. She was surrounded by friends, learning of the world, and *glancing at Tex* falling like the stars. Realizing she is staring she blushes and quickly turns to get to making some food, growing plants and berries for a meal for everyone. "Sorry I am a little late everyone. Dinner is served."
During the trip , the rogue runs off to the side of the road, diving over fallen trees or rock piles, spinning and slapping the trees as he pases them by in an odd semblance of a child's game. That evening, Lanarial moves through a series of slow, precise motions, perfectly positioned and flowing from one form to the next. Even though he moves slowly and appears to exert no effort, a sheen of perspiration covers his face. Soon the speed increases, yet the precision remains. Minutes pass by and flow into hours. The slow forms become a blur of motion, faster than you think a mortal should move. The entire day, he has been practicing and improving his combat training, his reflexes, his timing. Your night hunter is becoming more deadly...
At dinner Tex wolfs down the food Iri made for everyone. “Mm, mm, mm! This is delicious miss Iri!” He says between mouthfuls of food, “Who needs a lodge when you have a smart, capable, Druid like you watching out for us.” He finds his gaze lingering a bit too long on Iri, before clearing his throat and looking away.
Later his n the evening, after going through sparring drills with Vi and Gareth, Tex lays on the bench of the wagon, looking straight up at the stars, waiting... for.. well, he wasn’t sure but it felt right to be there all the same. Fern is snoring at his feet, leg twitching.

The logging camp spreads along the south shore of the river, where a dozen tents are arranged on a sandy beach. Near a dock stands a cabin with logs stacked under an awning. Older cabins close by have been torn down to leave only stone chimneys and foundations. A grim silence hangs over the camp, and you see no one around.
See the map in discord for reference. You all arrive from the LEFT side.
As the nights pass, Gareth-Wyn carves a new rune onto his greatsword. A third rune of power, in the shape of an eye surrounded by bolts of lightning. After completing the carving, he pauses for a long time, just looking, before eventually returning the blade to its sheath.
