Cryovain latches to the ground and beats his wings again! Each creature within melee range of the dragon must succeed on a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw or take 12 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. He then flies 40' up in the air.
Cryovain inhales and breathes again, exhaling an icy blast in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 19 Constitution saving throw, taking 57 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Gareth-Wyn roars in frustration as Cryovain soars out of range. He gazes around the battlefield, looking for cover and/or a way to climb up closer to the dragon.
Realizing that fighting against a huge T-Rex and 4 others is a losing battle, Cryovain creates a terrible thick fog that obscures your vision - giving off one last final roar of defiance. As the fog slowly clears, the only sounds left are the cracking noise of sleet and ice. In the distance, Cryovain's form shrinks as he flies off eastward away from the Sword Coast - realizing that maybe this wasn't the best location for a home. After all, he has an 8 Intelligence.
While still alive, your efforts for driving away the dragon have earned you a heroes welcome, and have saved Phandalin and the local area from a terrible threat.
Tex gives a whoop and a holler as the snowy lizard runs away, tail tucked between its legs. “Welp, that’s not exactly what we were going for, but I’ll take it!”
Walking Over to Gareth, he gives a reassuring pat, “I know you were hoping to slay the beast, but, maybe you could travel with us a while longer and something more worthy than a cowardly dragon will be found.”
To Vi he offers a fist bump, “very nice work, miss Vi. What are your plans moving forward? I’m certain there are other communities in need of. ...heroes.”
To Lanarial he gives a nod, “Are you planning on sticking with us for awhile?”
Finally, Tex walks over to Iri, then scoops her up in a big hug, jumping and twirling her, her legs swinging a bit as he shouts with glee, “We did it Iri! We saved Phandelin!”
Vi closes her eyes and listens as Cryovain flies away, slowly letting the three duplicates around her fade. Above her, Talav follows the dragon for a little while to make sure he truly is fleeing. Once Vi is satisfied he is, the half-elf grins and opens her eyes, returning Tex's fist bump. "I've got a guard captain to let know of the change in circumstance. But after that...I don't know." Vi looks down at herself, then up at Talav. Was that what she was now? A...hero?
The rogue releases the pressure on the bowstring, returning the arrow to his quiver as he walks out of the old fortress to be with his new friends on the ice-covered roof. "Well done. Well done indeed. You are all mighty heroes and I am grateful that we survived this epic battle! Come, let us return inside, patch up our wounds, and find this dragon's horde. It is only fitting that we retrieve it instead of those giant human scavengers..."
(O.0 That's 7,600 gold each =)Lanarial will eye the Slippers of Spider Climbing, thinking of the great sniper positions he could get to with those and the Immovable Rod...but waits to see if one of the others speak up to claim it.
Gareth-Wyn crouches on top of a shattered boulder on the outskirts of Phandalin, the remnant of some lofty tower, staring out at the horizon where the dragon disappeared. His few possessions are piled at the base of the boulder, relatively neat and ready to for a long journey.
Tex looks out on the horizon, “weeeelp. I promised Iri I’d introduce her to my mother. She lives in Leilon, That’s Southeast of here, near the coast. We could head that way and see if anyone needs aid of the heroic variety.” Tex turns and smiles at the group, “Could be fun to have a change of scenery!”
"I'm inclined to stick with this group, although meeting your mother might be better without an entourage. If we are to continue as a group going forward, then let us decide where our base of operations will be. Do we stay in Phandalin, or perhaps relocate to Neverwinter? There is probably more opportunity for us in a bigger city like Neverwinter...either way, we establish a presence and search for additional adventures. That way, if Tex and Iri head off to meet their parents, they will know where to find us! If we all pitch in a portion of our treasure, we might even be able to secure a building where we could live and secure ourselves. What do you think?"
