Toc's raven swoops down near the group that was left behind. It caws at them insistently, then hops away from them...then caws at them once more, then hops a wait a bit more. It attempts to lead them after Toc and Germain.
Meanwhile, Toc following, stealth check: 11. Ooops, I also missed Advantage!! Great: 20
As Norath nears Ulric puts his finger over his lips and leads him on to follow the familiar. He moves with haste trying to catch up to the rest of the group.
Following the lizardfolk is not difficult. They pull away from you though, as you move slower as you work to be quiet and not draw their attention. It is only a few minutes before Toc and Germain hear sounds coming from behind. With the Raven's senses though, Toc would have forewarning that it is Naroth, Ulric, and Taviel. Those three cannot see Toc or Germain though, as they are invisible. As they are not working to move as quietly, they have caught up to the scouting pair.
Germain tugs gently on Toc's shoulder (he should be visible after casting the minor illusion), "I'll scout ahead a bit, give me a bit of room, but stay fairly close."
Remember it is full dark out here, so, if you don't have darkvision, then you cannot see much at all. Not sure if that applies to anyone, but wanted to mention it.
It does not appear that these lizardfolk are stopping anytime soon. They know the land, and, clearly, are willing to travel through the night with their cargo.
You follow for over an hour, invisibility ends for both Germain and Toc, and the lizardfolk continue marching along their path.
The travel is by foot through tangled marsh. The ground is what passes for dry in the mere: even “solid ground” is soggy, with water very near the surface. Lizardfolk porters carry the cult’s contraband on their backs along the trail, and their tracks can be plainly seen where the path crosses wet ground. Much of the path is through mucky, cold, knee-deep water. On those stretches, blaze marks are cut into trees to keep porters on the right course.
What do you do? You will have to start making exhaustion checks if you continue to follow through the night.
Germain will pause a bit to let the others catch up, "Are you able to have your familiar follow them until they rest? We might be better off setting up camp somewhere and get some rest and then try to catch them while they rest. Either that, or try to ambush them now."
"I am good either way, though all this tumbling around in the dark is beginning to take their toll on me." Naroth says panting as he leans up against a tree.
Toc takes a deep breath, “Our goal is to track the treasure. This appears all part of their plans. To ambush the lizard men would not help. But my raven can see no better in the dark than Naroth. I believe we should push on and continue to track them. They need to rest eventually.”

Ulric pauses a moment to catch his breath, "We must assume this is a common activity for them. They've marked this path and can see, we're nearly blind and tired. If we don't keep pace we'll lose them but we also lose the treasure we're tracking. We have no way to know how long they can keep up this pace or how far they are going. I see no other option but to continue though."
You would know your pace would drop to a crawl, and, likely, you would be no where near able to keep up with the lizardfolk. They have opened that gap between you to a fairly large margin already, so much so that they can only be heard ahead of you at a distance now.
With only one of you with darkvision, and the raven not being that one, I'd say you are pretty much stuck where you are. You are an hour from the buildings you left, and in the middle of the marchland. You can stumble forward, but you would feel that the path is vry clear, so there wouldn't be any real press to do so, the path will be there come morning as well.
Toc is the only one who can travel easily in the night. If you push forward as a group, then you need a way to keep the rest of the group from becoming lost in the darkness, and to help them move through the marshland. This will mean moving at 1/4 speed, or something like that anyway.

Waht does everyone do now?

(He recast invis). He whispers to Germain, “go ahead and scout, I’ll let them know we’re here and we’ll follow.”
He approaches the others and says “Hey folks. Thanks for coming. We’re tracking lizard folk. Germain is ahead. Follow me.”
He lets his crow continue to fly from branch to branch nearby so they can follow him.

Actually, it does apply to Taviel. So, once she realized she is useless here, she returned to the group's room.

Germain looks around, "Where's Taviel? We shouldn't continue on without her."
Taviel can not see in the dark. Actually, only Toc can in our company. How do we plan to follow lizardmen?

Germain has goggles of night from an infusion, so he also has darkvision.
