Jasun: You notice that while this woman is older than Jadrenka, she does bear a resemblance to her, like they're related or something.

"Man, are all these women related or something? They all look similar.." he mused.

"That's entirely possible, dear. So what brings you all here?"

"It is not unlikely that we're dealing with a family tradition sort of thing. Or perhaps even reincarnation too?" Zaf would quizzically look to Seraphina on that last point. "Wait a minute." His gaze shoots to the stage, and goes wide, realizing the elder woman to not be as much of a statue as his bird brained had promptly dismissed her as. "You're... huh... Uhm... Hello? We're here in regards to a key belonging Baba Yaga. Would you perhaps be able to assist us there?"

The woman tosses you a key. "I think that this will help you as you explore the dungeon, my dear." She says before vanishing, along with her children.

"Yoink." Jasun says, grabbing the key mid air and pocketing it. He pats his coat where the pocket is.

Area D4a

Here you find a locked trapdoor. The key that the middle-aged woman gave you unlocks the trapdoor, revealing a long, narrow passage that goes down and has iron climbing rungs set into the wall 

Jirel would lead the way down the passage.

Area D4

A deep, black pit gapes in the floor of this chamber, hewn by hand from the surrounding stone. Rows of rusted iron manacles hang along the room’s walls, their chains hammered deep into the stone. A rack along the east wall holds numerous cruel-looking torture implements. A stone staircase cut into the walls of the pit descends in a curve into the depths.

Again, Rose would naturally draw closer to Jirel, holding her staff tightly in her hands. “This... this is a really weird pit to have in this sort of place... W-we should definitely be careful down here...” 

Throughout their journey forth, Rose will stay hyper vigilant (if possible to use my passive perception 23 here).

The barbarian would drum her fingers along the worn hilt of her axe. She'd hear Rose's warning and would be sure to sweep the area for a quick inspection before watching over her, and the others if they wished to do the same. Should there not be any items of interest, Jirel would stand ready to lead them to the next area when the group was ready.

Going down the staircase leads to a landing with a door that has a carving of a naked pregnant woman. The key that the middle-aged woman gave you unlocks this door as well. The door opens to reveal a corridor that leads to Area D5.

Area D5

This grand chamber has the appearance of a dark temple. Intricately woven tapestries hang from the walls, depicting dark forests beneath crescent moons and filled with beasts and capering hags. Along the west wall stands a large stone hearth containing the charred remains of a balefire. On either side of the hearth hangs a large cauldron; one is iron, the other copper. To the left of the hearth, the wall is painted with the giant image of a fanged crone with raven’s wings and a donkey tail. A longspear hangs on the south wall of the room, pointing east, while a curved sword hangs on the north wall, pointing west. In the northeast corner stands a plain oaken table holding wooden panpipes, a polished copper bowl, and a silver punching dagger. 

Inside this room are two hideous hags, as well as the floating specter of a beautiful young woman, engulfed in sickly green flames.

"Caigreal," the one hag asks. "are these the adventurers that you encountered yesterday?" "The very ones, Grizelmuk." She responds, now in her true form. "Then it is time for us to kill them, so that they may bother us no longer."

Jasun chugs the rest of his drink and tosses the glass over his shoulder, a loud KsHsS of glass breaking as he readies for battle.

"Oh, there you are again," Sera observes.

Jirel would chuff with a smirk growing on her face. She'd draw her greataxe as she'd move into a defensive position in front of Rose, Jasun, Nadya and Zaf but at Sera's side. The barbarian would nod to the ice warrior before she'd shift into her battle stance.

Zaf sighed. "Honestly, if you had merely answered our questions and did not try to manipulate us, this whole thing may not have even been necessary." He then looks to the spectral woman behind them clearly captured and possibly suffering. Seeing that, he brandished the Prayer Beads with marginally less zeal. "At least until perhaps came here..." He chuckled, before his eyes turned hardened into a determined glare. 

"Fear not the dark, nor need you seek peace in light alone, for the Lady Butterfly is always there to guard our dreams with a gossamer veil of twilight." He states, summoning the veil to blanket much of the area about him. Some of which he then seems to physically tug and wrap around himself as an added, ethereal cloak to ward off hostile intent.

Then oddly enough, he just... closes his eyes, seeming to waiting or lost in thought over something.

Action: Channel Divinity - Twilight Sanctuary.

Bonus Action: Cast (1st level)Sanctuary on self. (Wis DC 15 for any harmful effects target Zaf)
