"Let the links between the stars become thorns in the side of nonbelievers."Zaf chanted as he made the motion of casting a whip with star map rolled up and once more in hand. From it pours a spiny and ethereal cord of starlight that would latch onto the Roper. Then with supernatural force, a yanking motion from Zaf would pull it right from the wall for a crash course in physics. No matter the outcome, Zaf snaps into a defensive stance afterwards.
Meanwhile, the aberration busters continue their shortbow assault!
Action: Cast Thorn Whip on Roper. Attack: 11 Damage: 12 magical piercing and pulled 10ft closer (and off the wall if possible, taking fall damage).
"I got you! I got you! I - WHOA!"Jasun, hands out, realized something. He retracted them rapidly. "Yoip! You're not Sera." Then he got bit. "EEEYEOUCH!"
Jirel looks up, arms out in time to catch Seraphina, absorbing half the impact. With a simple nod, the blonde would smoothly but swiftly return the warrior to her feet, sending her back off into battle. Though, the barbarian would keep an eye out for ‘the inevitable’, Sera getting snatched up once again.

"HA!"Jasun arm pumped. He did a little dance in place. He breakdanced over to Sera and took her by the hand.
"Look what I can do, my dear."he bobbed his eyebrows up and down, and hovered his hand over an open wound. Black shadowy tendrils weaved their way into her skin close to the wound and became black stitches, sealing and healing the wound with cosmic precision.

"My pleasure."Jasun smiles. "Also, you said impressive twice. I'm flattered. Regarding the healing - boy, am I gonna get in trouble for this." he laughed.
One of the frozen creatures that was entombed in the walls of this cavern is a wolf person similar to Baknarla that's holding a pike. "That's Sarnok! And he still has his Pike of Dragon Slaying!" Baknarla strikes at the ice to break Sarnok's body out, but she does leave you the pike when she takes his body to her people. From here, you can see Ivoryglass Palace below you. You also level up.

"Ah, mn-... Take care then, Baknarla. And may the Lady Butterfly walk with you on your journey home." Zaf said, giving Baknarla one last polite wave prior them setting off. After which, he made his way to the rest proper, trusting Jirel or likely Seraphina to take up the Pike. "I suppose this just about it. It would probably be best now to rest here. Fortify what we can, but gather our strength for a final push of sorts." He suggested.
"... Also, Jasun... I'm sorry, but can you remind me what hold this.. entity have on you again. I think... Mn... You mention them being mad at you later, but if you have already managed to branch out from their grasp already, as you have shown... what's preventing you from seeking another, uh... 'teacher', if you would."He states.
