Sorry Vincent and Kenton! Even though getting knocked unconscious is part of the game, it sucks when it happens before a player's first turn in combat. I'll wait to see where Aliez fits in the initiative before moving on (she might get Vincent and/or Kenton back on their feet).
I've updated the earlier post. If I've made any rule or calculation errors, please let me know.
And just so you don't think I'm being a cruel DM, the adventure module specifies "If no one notices the eight sahuagin and two sharkbody abominations [...] as they clamber aboard Wavechaser, they surprise the characters and the crew."
In Vincent’s unconscious state, he wrestles an imaginary entity that rules over his fate: the Deity Magnus, or “DM”. He wrestles back and forth with him in epic battle, but must eventually acknowledge the truth... he was sorta into it.
Vincent will suffer his new difficulties alone in unconsciousness.
(You’re doing fine, the DM’s job is to make it scary. And coming up with a new character who literally drops out of the sky in the middle of the ocean could be fun lol)
Aliez, seeing the monsters rush over the side turns and shoots her crossbow at S1 before whispering a healing word to one of her spirits and heals Vincent for 5
Attack: 14 Damage: 5
After Aliez shoots, she turns and looks around in a look of shock whispering, "Silvia, where are you? Don't leave...."
S4 is distracted by Steve (providing advantage against it*).
[*I'll get the next person who attacks S4 to explain how they take advantage of S4 having a flying cat in its face to help with their attack (or opposed ability check). If it is roleplayed and explained, then they have advantage.]
Sharkbody A1 looks at Reguh, but doesn't react. [Its INT is 1, "A creature with an Intelligence score of 4 or less isn’t affected"].
[It should. That said, because it is the first time, I'll let you roll a DC15 Nature check to see whether you would know that a shark-type creature wouldn't know any languages and would have very low intelligence. If you pass that, roll an Arcana check. On DC12 you realise that the spell wouldn't work, and you can stop yourself before casting (spell slot not wasted, but action still used). On DC15 you stop yourself in time to cast a cantrip instead. On DC20 you stop yourself in time to cast a different spell instead.]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nature 13
if successful arcana 20
Reguh goes to cast the spell after telling his joke and realizes the creature wouldn’t get it, he then decides to send a bolt of flame towards it instead.
Kenton is alive and can take his turn, Reguh's firebolt fizzles against A1's wet rubbery hide and Vincent's warpick cannot pierce the creature's rubbery hide.
Kenton, Boerth, Beatrice, Oden, A1 and Aliez are up.
Aliez falls to her knees, "Silvia... don't tell me you...." Aliez looks up and aims her crossbow at S3 Attack: 18 Damage: 6. She then calls out weakly to Beatrice, "End them. Protect your friends." (You have a bardic insperation dice (1d6) you can add to an attack or save.)

(OOC: Sorry I was in the woods)

[No probs at all, we moved into this fairly quickly. How was the woods?]
The bolt goes through S1's shoulder and it is looking reasonably hurt.
Vincent is alive again, just in time for his go.
Vincent, Steve the Tressym, Reguh and Kenton are up.
Kenton is indeed down. Death saving throw: 15
That's one fail.
[As Vincent is ahead of Kenton (9 v 5), if he heals Kenton, I'll have it happen before your turn.]
Steve flaps his wings crazily around S4 (Help action)
Reguh looks to A1 and says “HEY! Why do sharks scare their prey before eating them? They taste better when you scare the crap out of them!”
He flicks his wand towards the shark and cast Hideous laughter at A1. DC14 wisdom save
S4 is distracted by Steve (providing advantage against it*).

(Ugh, does that use my spell slot still?)

Kenton stands up, struggling with his wounds, but he draws his longsword and slashes at S2:
Attack: 16 Damage: 12
Kenton's longsword cuts deep into sahuagin S2.
Boerth with his free action pulls out his pistol and fires at S1: Attack: 24 Damage: 10. S1 is dead.
Sharkbody Abomination A1 bites at Beatrice: Attack: 9 Damage: 18.
Beatrice, Oden and Aliez are up.
Concentration checks for 2 hits: 8 11
Oden continues his attack on S8.
Attack: 15 Damage: 12
BA: move Hunter's Mark on S7 (assuming S8 falls)
Oden's blade of water cuts s8 down. S8 is dead.
