Better and better... If this Elminster's vision was true - and he did not recollect such a scene - and his warning made an impression on the others then perhaps they would be extra motivated to work together rather than battle one another, even after their full power were restored. Such powerful people working together would form an extraordinarily effective team - and he would find a way to place himself in position to direct it. After all, it was only proper for him to be in charge.
He nodded. "Parts of my memory are still missing, so I can't confirm the authenticity of his sage's vision. But the message is a solid one. Fighting never solves anything, and benefits no one. The result is only a waste of lives and energies. We should cooperate for everyone's benefit, not fight." In fact he felt that were the vision true, it would not have involved him - unless he was attacked. He did not rise as far as he remembered by wasting potential resources.
Honor will rest also, and ask Kierro to inquire with the mithral dragon about nearby islands that might have raw materials for repairing the ship. "I'm sure Emmy won't mind doing some scouting while we wait for the castle, but having some idea of where to look couldn't hurt."
(OOC: I am moving Kierro's discussion with the Mithril to a PM, as he is the only one there. I'd like to get this back to the group, so am going to let the castle have arrived.) A day and a half passes, with the sailors making themselves at home in the sanctum. The passage to the sand beach is left available for them to get supplies from their ship, as well as to fish in the storm-tossed sea. The Mithril does let Honor know, through Kierro, that there are other islands around, but warns that an Orange dragon lairs in one of them, so to be wary of it. There is a teleportation circle in one section of the sanctum, which the ship's wizard is able to make use of to get supplies, or to get the crew to somewhere else if they desire it. The castle arrives overhead finally, giving another place the crew could go if they wished. What is everyone doing at this point?
Maril and her dragons will fly down to the island, she would like to meet the other Dragonlords and dragons, including the Mithril dragon. She will also help the crew or the ship if she can.
Appearing as a 7 1/2 foot tall, beautiful red haired woman riding on an amethyst dragon, Maril is clad in shining purple scale armor, and carries a violet shield with a stylistic dragon’s eye. An Amber dragon also accompanies nearby.
(Conversation with the mithril dragon is still in progress, so we'll see how that goes.)
A pulsing light at the entrance to the cave points Maril in the right direction. Moving amongst the crew is a young man of average height and build, with wavy brown hair and a neatly-kept robe with a blue sash. His armor and shield, both a simple polished steel gray, sit against the wall. As some of the crew are on elevated alcoves deeper into the sanctuary, he summons two angelic feathered wings to soar between them.
Maril's presence causes him to turn, and he smiles warmly, returning to the ground. He bows respectfully. "Maril. It's been so long. How have you been, friend?"
A young half elf girl with dark brown hair and eyes stands away from the crew, looking uncomfortable and anxious now that the trouble has passed for now. She recognizes Maril before Kierro says anything, but instead of saying anything her face pales a little with concern and worry.
“Hello everyone, good to see you Kierro and Naiverra”. Maril seems genuinely happy to see all. She swoops down for a landing, the Amber dragon following.
” I only arrived at the castle the other day. How can my friends and I help? “
"Extremely," Honor says, jumping off of Emmy's back and starting to remove her breastplate. She pauses to shake the water from her hair (sexy shampoo commercial style) and move out of the way as Emmy does her own (more dog who was fighting with the sprinkler) shakedown. "The ship's crew's going to be as set as they can be until we're far enough away for the storm to actually stop and let them leave again." She wrings out the edges of her tunic. "We should also consider distracting Kierro from scouting efforts -- we can't rescue every tub full of sailors."

"We've found and rescued a crew stranded in the storms sent to slow us down. They're in the mountain's cavern."
(OOC: Next sentence is tentative. Might alter depending on how the PM conversation goes) "I was able to secure enough supplies for them to repair the ship, so they should be good to set out once we reach the mainland and the storms die down."
He looks from Maril to Naivara, a look of concern on his face as he notes her expression. "What's wrong?"
Kyrian frowns "WILL the storms die down? These gods seem pretty dead set on stopping us and don't seem likely to stop on the behalf of one ship. Perhaps we avoid more heavily traveled areas where possible to avoid delays like this."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
Honor shrugs. "I expect that the storms are centered on us, yes. And the ship was a day out from the castle at the rate it travels, so it's quite large, but I wonder if it might be smaller on land, with less water to pull from in the first place. Avoiding high traffic areas is definitely a good idea, but with such a wide area covered by the storm, it may not be entirely avoidable."
Yuno says, "I... don't understand... why do the gods want to stop us? Are they sending the storms directly or are they making use of a cleric? Can we kill the person responsible for the storms?"
Maril replies. “Like you all, my memories of the old world are mostly lost. I remember some fighting, with some of you as well as the gods of that world, I remember much destruction. I have been told some sage in this world showed you a vision of us being cast out of that world, shattered into this one. I think the gods here may know we may surpass them in power… but if they seriously fear that- a storm is the least I would expect. We should make haste to recover our fragmented identities and get our full power restored. In the meantime- I think we can convince these gods that we learned from our experiences before.”
His business on the island finished for now, Kierro returns to the castle, now with a Mithral dragon in tow who introduces herself as Sharot.
”I believe the gods are also concerned that the destruction we caused in our world is doomed to happen in this one as well. As long as we don’t come to blows, we should be able to keep that from happening.”
He glances to Maril. “That is a possibility, perhaps, if they are willing to listen. We’d likely have to find a way to commune with them, a power that I am nearing restoration of.”
”Oh! That reminds me - we will likely have to adjust our travel plans. Magical travel is controlled by the goddess Mystra; so even if we do find a mage, their teleportation spell will not take us where we desire.” He exchanges a nod with Sharot. “That was the intention of our travel to Waterdeep, so perhaps we should instead debark the castle and travel south by flight once we reach the mainland, rather than venture into the city.”

Yuno walks to the castle entrance with her dragon friends to greet the Dragon Lords returning and also to ask how the trip to save the sailors went.
Kyrian waves at Honor and Yuno as they walk in.
"Hey guys! Did you go swimming in your armor Honor? That seems uncomfortable."
