Soren draws a javelin out of a sheath on his back, sighing. "You know there could be one room where we have to fight a teddy bear. Or anything else that isn't trying to rip our guts out" Despite his words, he charges forward to attack the monster

Saya drives the javelin into the Mimic and kills it. Being that it is a monster and not a real chest you find nothing of value inside.
The voice again mocks you.
Well, you didn't fair to well in that challenge did you? Killing things was not the challenge, my puzzles seem to elude you. Perhaps you will fair better in the final room? The door is open and the final challenge awaits you.
Congratulations you may level up to 4 before proceeding into the next room
"We did not start the fight with that chest Callaphe." replies Areus "None of us understood that riddle. We acted in a way that we all thought was the correct one. But you are right, let's think more carefully on our final challenge."

A marble statue stands in the center of the room, wearing a broken piece of a mask. A sphere surrounds the statue, shimmering in all colors of the rainbow. Seven soldiers, each carrying a shield in one color of the rainbow, are painted on the walls. They look determined and ready for a fight.
The room is 100 feet long and 80 feet wide. It is brightly lit from the sphere around the statue. A high-pitched hum originates from the sphere.
The hero in the mural also appears on the wall of the room and watches you intently.
(Which wall is the hero in?) Saya pokes the red shield lightly.

"There is an obvious link between the shields that those soldiers carry and the rainbow sphere that protects the fragment." says Areus aloud "Touching the shields on the painting in order seems the right course of action, but considering our previous encounters, I am starting to have some doubts." The hoplite looks at the hero "Maybe, this time we have to just ask the hero to touch the shields."
"Our fragment helped us guiding the hero when we opened the temple. Maybe it will help us this time too." Areus focuses his thoughts on the fragment he is wearing and says "My light in the darkness". The fragment starts to glow with a pale cool light.

"I am getting tired of your mockeries!" says Areus "We survived your monsters, we will survive your next challenge too!"
"I am ready to proceed." says the hoplite to the rest of the group.
"Perhaps she has a point," Callaphe says. "After all, I'm sure there was more than one way to do this. Let's try to avoid starting fights next time."
