The Siren Sea remains calm and the wind is in your favor and Argon delivers you safely to the Deyda Harbor. You find lodging for a night and start fresh the next day, some of you glad to be back on land, others look back to the sea hoping you get the chance to return.
As you make your way north you find the road is well travelled with merchant caravans of all sorts moving up and down the roadway. Some head inland towards Akros and other south towards the harbor.
The opportunity to purchase goods is presented or you can wait till you get to Akros.\
The road runs on the west side of the Deyda River and Saya could tell you of the Lagonna bands of centaurs the live in the lands on the east side of the river.
Saya will be on the lookout to see if she sees any Centaur. (She will wait until the group arrives at Akros.)
(Does Areus has both pieces of the mask? Do they like magically "glue" together?)

"I will wait to be in Arkos to purchase my supplies." says Areus as the group passes the merchant caravans "We should not encounter troubles this close to Arkos, but it is better to stay alert, just in case."
At the end of the first day of travel you find something odd. While during the day there were always caravans of merchants to be seen working their ways both north and south now, as you make you way off the road to find a place to rest, you are alone. As far as you can see in both directions there is no one else travelling the road. As you make camp and discuss this amongst yourselves you can't recall when the last time you saw any other travelers even though you are all certain you saw many as the day progressed.
That night you set a watch but find that you all fall into a deep trance and each have a vivid dream.
Saya
In your dream you are running across a huge plain. Suddenly a great storm sweeps across the plain and the rain begins to pound and the thunder boom. You are struck by a massive bolt of lightning and in the white hot flash of searing pain you see the god Keranos tower above you.
"Child you do well in your service to me. Allow me to reward you for your efforts. Choose one of these gifts to aid you in your quest."
Before you float a Javelin of Lightning, a Pariah’s Shield, and an Amulet of Health.
After you have made your choice you feel the favor of your god fall on you.
Piety 3+ Keranos trait
As a devotee of Keranos, you have proven your wisdom and your allegiance to the storm lord. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can deal an extra 1d6 lightning damage to the target. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
You then awaken from the dream and the sun rises as you find yourself back on the road next to the Deyda River.
Tisto
In your dream you sit leaning against a tree playing a set of pan pipes. All around you the revelry of a satyr party takes place. Dancing, signing and drinking. A light wind whips up around you and suddenly a portion of the sky darkens and you see the image of the god Kruphix stand before you.
"Child you do well in your service to me. Allow me to reward you for your efforts. Choose one of these gifts to aid you in your quest."
Before you float a Flying Chariot, an Amulet of the Drunkard and Cli pan pipes
After you have made your choice you feel the favor of your god fall on you.
Piety 3+ Kruphix trait
As a devotee of Kruphix, you have proven yourself a devotee of reality’s mysteries and laws. You can cast detect magic with this trait a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
In addition, you know the mage hand cantrip. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
You then awaken from the dream and the sun rises as you find yourself back on the road next to the Deyda River.
Areus
In your dream you march to battle, your fellow warriors around. The battle rages and over time the other warriors fade away and you face a hydra in one to one combat. Furious is the combat but eventually you over power and lsay the creature and emerge victorious!
Suddenly before you stands a powerfully built centaur with a bull’s body rather than a horse’s, clad in gleaming armor and wielding a spear and shield. He speaks in a booming baritone that projects power, confidence, and courage. You immediately recognize him as the god Iroas
"Child you do well in your service to me. Allow me to reward you for your efforts. Choose one of these gifts to aid you in your quest."
Before you float a Vicious Weapon (spear) Armor of Resistance (Breastplate) and Belt of Giant Strength (Hill Giant)
After you have made your choice you feel the favor of your god fall on you.
Piety 3+ Iroas trait
As a devotee of Iroas, you have earned his favor through victories won in his name. You can cast compelled duel with this trait a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
You then awaken from the dream and the sun rises as you find yourself back on the road next to the Deyda River.
Callaphe
In your dream you stalk a deer in the woods. You carefully make your way through the forest until you come to a small clearing where a small brook passes through. There a green-skinned dryad with woody extremities steps out from behind a tree. Her hair is made of vines and leaves that change with the seasons. You recognize her immediately as the god Nylea
"Child you do well in your service to me. Allow me to reward you for your efforts. Choose one of these gifts to aid you in your quest."
Before you float a Cloak of Elvenkind, +2 Shortbow, and a Staff of the Woodlands
After you have made your choice you feel the favor of your god fall on you.
Piety 3+ Nylea trait
As a devotee of Nylea, you have proven yourself a guardian of the wilds. You can cast hunter’s mark with this trait a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
You then awaken from the dream and the sun rises as you find yourself back on the road next to the Deyda River.
Soren
In your dream you sail on a tall masted ship. The sea is calm and a strong wind fills the sails. In the distance you see female triton-like being with octopus-tentacle hair and a crown of crab legs tower over the ocean. As you get closer she takes many other forms, often shifting from one to another: a giant squid, an ocean storm, a school of sharks, a fog bank, or a crab. You know her to be your god, Thasa.
"Child you do well in your service to me. Allow me to reward you for your efforts. Choose one of these gifts to aid you in your quest."
Before you float a ring of spell storing, amulet of health anda molten bronze skin.
After you have made your choice you feel the favor of your god fall on you.
Piety 3+ Thassa trait
As a devotee of Thassa, you have proven yourself a worthy representative of the god of the sea. You can cast fog cloud with this trait. Fog created in this way smells strongly of the sea. You can cast the spell in this way a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
You then awaken from the dream and the sun rises as you find yourself back on the road next to the Deyda River.
The party wakes next morning to the haunting sound of pan pipes being played. The interesting thing is that it seems to be coming from above them. Looking up they see Tisto sitting crosslegged playing a set of pan pipes. Interestingly he does not seem to be supported by anything but he is not falling either.. Taking the pipes from his mouth he calls out "Morning gentlemen and gentleladies. I had a most wonderful dream last night!" He then takes a gulp for his ubiquitous wine skin and waves it around "can I interest anybody in a drink?"
Tisto waves the pipes at Soren "you mean these? Apparently they are for services rendered and what is a bit more disturbing - services still to be rendered!"
"Lord Keranos, I am a cleric after all, and my duty is to aid others. It will be my honor to take the shield." Saya replies to her god.
The next morning. Saya sports a very weird looking shield. "Good morning." Says Saya to her companions, proudly wearing her god's gift. "Perhaps from now on, little one, you will take less damage as long as you are near me." She looks at Tisto.

Remembering the dream, Areus says a brief prayer to Iroas and wears the belt. Immediately, a surge of power flows through the Arkoan "Thank you, it will serve me well."
"It looks like that we are indeed blessed by the Gods" says Areus as he finishes to prepare himself and sees that all of his companions have also received some boons.
"Indeed Areus. I hope that this is a good omen for our mission. I am ready to leave." Replies Saya feeling blessed by her God.

Callaphe wraps the cloak around herself, "I won't dissapoint you Lady Nylea," she says as the dream ends.
When they all wake up, Callaphe seems confused for the first few moments when she wakes wrapped in the cloak, but when she rubs the tiredness from her eyes she says, "Perhaps it's a message for what's to come." She gets to her feet and goes about preparing for the day.
Having received the gifts of the gods you find yourselves stronger and encouraged that you have purpose and are on the right path.
You break camp and make your way north. To the west you see the endless badlands of Phoberos stretch out. But you are intent to make your way north, to the Titan's Stairs and then to Akros. There you can resupply and then cross the Pharagax Bridge into Phoberos.
As you get further north the land begins to climb around you and soon towering cliffs of rock surround you. Late in the day you reach the Titan's Stairs. You can clearly see that the mountain realms that surround the mighty polis of Akros serve as shield between its holdings and the rest of Theros. The Titan's Stairs are a natural access through the granite cliffs that protect Akros.
You have passed stratians of armed men and women, Akroan soldiers, who let you pass as Areus is clearly a member of a stratian As you make your way up the stairs you begin to see the polis of Akros, a towering city at the edge of the cliffs.
"Behold Akros, the Shield of Theros, my friends" says Areus as the polis is within sight. "There are several shops inside the walls that we could use for resupply ourselves before our next part of our quest."
"Even if the Iroan Games are not being held in this period, I hope that you will enjoy your time in Akros." says the hoplite as the group walks. "Tisto, Saya, you may get a few stares as we walk within the city. Beside the period of the Games, few Satyrs or Centaurs come here to visit."
Areus will act as guide for the group and he will try to find a suitable inn.
You reach the top of the plateau and enter the city. You find shops and services of all kinds and are able to easily find any equipment or supplies you might need to make your way into the plains of Phoberos.
While Saya and Tisto do get some strange looks since you are escorted by Areus you are left alone. During the Iroan games races from all over flock to Akros but it is not that time of the year. Your countenance and bearing embody the virtues the Akroans respect. You are clearly not just meager travelers and so are not hassled.
Areus adjusts the straps of his new stratian armor and secures on his back the bundle of javelins he purchased from one of shops near the Temple Area. "Shall we find an inn for the night? I would like to show you the beauties of this polis, but our quest calls for urgency so I think that it is for the best if we leave for the plains at the first light."
Callaphe checks over her new arrows as she replaces missing ones in her quiver along with putting her spares into her pack, carefully wrapping the tips to keep them from puncturing anything. "That seems a good a place as any," she agrees, "And also, don't worry too much about rations. I can provide us with enough to survive on should we need it."
Callaphe smiles when they set off again, but her smile fades when it dawns on her where they're going.
