Areus nods to Tisto "I agree, I also think that we will find another part of the Elpis mask here, in the Nyx, as the tale mentions that some pieces are hidden where only Gods tread." He pauses for a moment before adding "I'm not sure why we should start looking for a witch and a wardrobe, but I agree that our only option for now is to move forward." "I'm not sure why we should start looking for a witch and a wardrobe," Areus asks Tisto as they make their way towards the smith. "Oh it comes from a scroll I picked up once"he replies before continuing "it was all about a group of children who save the world from a wicked witch, there was talking animals and a creature like me but nowhere near as a smart and attractive - fanciful heh?!"
You can request from the gods for 1 short rest at anytime while you face the tests of the gods. But you do not know how long the tests will last or what they entail.
Read the texts carefully, a clue lies within on how to pass the first.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((First roll is DEX save for the radiant damage, DC 14 for 11, half on a save, The rest of the rolls are CHA saves to keep from weeping, DC 15))
You make your way towards the forge as sparks fall like shooting stars in all direction. Waves of loss pulse forth from the distant forge. This sense of loss and grief crashes through the skies of Nyx like a tidal wave of emotion and it isn't long before every one of you, except Tisto, is weeping uncontrollably as you make your way forward.
At one point the sparks land too close to the group and you are showered in radiant heat that injures Soren and Areus the most. Callaphe and Saya are able to dodge most of it sure and Tisto, resistant to radiant damage takes only a little.
Finally close enough to see through the clouds of sparks, you reach the ghostly forge to find yourself face to face with Death. A young death, for certain. Death raw from suffering, a death not yet numbed to the flood of mortals that will pass into its gentle care. The figure before you is a god, a god of mortality defined not by loss, but by the memory of life. Erebos, god of death and the underworld, labours over his craft, pouring his magic into the two masks that lie before him. The voice of Kruphix whispers in your ear. “Masks forged from grief, empowered by memory. Erebos mourns. The masks are powerful tools, and in the wrong hands they will bring ruin.”
The night sky liquifies above and beneath you, dripping into a flood of potential futures. War erupts across Theros. Soldiers march across the sky, which rips apart underneath them. Snakelike heads form from the clouds, each wearing a weeping mask, surrounding you on all sides. “Hope,” the voice of Kruphix echoes from all sides. “Hope and Doom as her weapons.”
A gargantuan Nyxborn Hydra with 5 heads appears in the middle of your group, its jaws snapping. Each head screams of disasters which will befall Theros should Calisto be allowed to roam free with her mask, such as monsters rampaging uncontrolled across the landscape, earthquakes, floods, famine and wild fires!

Tisto looks the giant beast over and even from his standpoint of being much larger now it is still gigantic. He goes almost cross-eyed trying to count its teeth before calling out to Areus standing next to him "O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is not yet done but given the size of this beastie and some of us are well under full strenght its your call whether we attack!"He readies a warbling ball of chaos Chaos Bolt at 1st level Attack: 9 Damage: 0 {8 & 4 & 1) in case the party chooses to attack.
If Areus decides to attack he starts yelling out to an as yet unnamed party member "I believe in you so believe in yourself because you can do better than than" giving them bardic inspiration of 5. {Bonus action}
If the monster attacks he laughs uproariously saying "xxx" Reaction Cutting words (-6) to a hit or saving throw {yet to be decided}

Areus shouts at Soren "Only the light of the sun, in shadow, can hold her back! Soren! You can use the White Fragment to summon the light of the sun!"
The Akroan enters in a battle stance and shouting "For Arkos!" stabs twice with his spear hoping to distract the creature and allow Soren to summon the light.
Tisto sends a bolt of energy flying high and misses as Areus launches attacks against the multi-headed creature. He drives two spears into the side of the hydra.

Technically you have to say who you are giving the BI to during your turn as you take bonus actions during your turn. But I'll let this one pass.
Saya, inspired by Tisto, and choosing to use said inspiration at this time steadies her aim and the javelin hits!
"Thank you Tisto!!" Shouts Saya with a boost of confidence.

Callaphe moves away from the hydra readying her bow and with a flash from the red fragment she fires off two arrows at the creature. "We will not allow these disasters to come to past," she yells at the hyra as she does so.

Callaphe, using the power of the red fragment to her advantage, fires two arrows at the hyrda and both drive deep into one of the heads which then falls limp as the head is killed. As the head dies it explodes into starlight and deals 11 radiant damage to Areus
But you are heroes of Theroes and you have heard the stories of the hydra, how a killed head will turn into 2 if the creature is not stopped.
The 4 remaining heads bite down at Areus
Attack: 16 Damage: 11 piercing + 10 radiant
Attack: 31 Damage: 13 piercing + 11 radiant
Attack: 28 Damage: 20 piercing + 6 radiant
Attack: 29 Damage: 16 piercing + 9 radiant
You watch in horror as 2 more heads grow out of the body and the some of the wounds on the creature heal. The hydra now has 6 heads!
Areus takes 12 radiant and 14 (halved due to rage) piercing damage
Soren is up followed by the top of the order again
