Toc nods, "We can go whenever. I'm afraid Tic's usefulness is quite low now. He used up a majority of his spells in that last battle, and won't be casting any more until I take the time to give him a full refresh. For now, I think I'll leave him here...to watch over the Mythallar. He can get me a message and hide pretty well if anything comes along."
He turns to Russel, "Say....when you find this dragon, do you want to talk to it, kill it...or.....something else. And...please...if it's something else, please be explicit. Vague answers are going to crawl under my skin. In fact, you indicated you're following orders. Who the heck do you work for?"
(Russel is only a half hp since he was a statue for both long rests)
Tired of having to search for the words he needs to replicate. Russel simply writes. “Locate. Hired. Candour.” It seems he’s just over all the talking and is anxious to get started looking for the dragons lair.
Toc's face turns dark like a thundercloud, and he slams his fist on the wall, "Look... 'RUSSEL'.... you had better start being more forthcoming before I...." he pauses, and frowns, "Did you write Candour?" The thunderclouds clear and his face returns to normal, "Ooooh. Candour hired you to locate the dragon. Hunh. Alright then. Well....sounds like we're all on the same team then. Great." He points at Russel and in Russel's head he hears Toc's voice, "Is your lack of communication because you lack of a normal voice....or....are you just naturally reticent? You may reply in your mind."
Toc turns to the rest of the group, "Russel still seems beat up. I know we've been resting here for almost a whole day already, but....I've needed to renew a few things...how do you feel about yet another rest, just so we're all fully ready?"

Russel would have been startled at hearing a voice in his head, but this is something that has happened to him before and fairly recently... at least as far as he was concerned. He’s spent the lag 16 hours from the fight as a bird shaped lawn ornament.
Russel feels as though he’s irritating or upsetting Toc in someway, though he can’t figure out why. Responding to the message, with, “Reticent...? I’m not familiar with the word.” Russel admits to Toc. “I’ve found it's ... safer to keep ‘my cards close to the vest’ as they say. That usually has less trouble for me.” Russel hopes that answer is satisfactory for Toc.
During the extra downtime, Fianna and Fi’Finella will spend most of their time in the room dedicated to Enchantment looking through the books in the room. Mainly skimming titles and contents, the search is for any dealing with specifically enchanting objects, creating magical items. Any books Fianna finds that seems to broach the subject she’ll store away for closer examination later...
There are no exits from this complex, except through the cave in. At some point during the rest, the two demons that are still alive have returned to the room where their chain leads. They sit against one wall, with the chains connected to them. Though they see the group...they don't move, and their sparkling mesmerizing eyes make no attempt to attack or influence the group. They just sit there...silent and waiting.
Fianna finds actually that many of these books discuss enchanting items. She begins slipping them away into her bag.
Nuzej and Toc also discover that there are extensive magical spells all throughout the library. They could spend days here learning spells...weeks even. (can be discussed on the side).
You're having your third long rest....a full day of downtime, when a man walks into one of the rooms where Fianna is reading. She glances up at him. He's a half-elf...probably half drow... and made next to no noise on his approach. He wears a full suit of elven mithril full plate, a long cape fluttering down his back. His face would best be described as cruel. He looks at Fianna and says, "My mistress wishes to meet with you...and your party. The Verdant Cloud extends her invitation to her home for a discussion, and promises you safe passage."
Hideous hacked together map of entire complex as requested. The only exit is to the top, which is blocked by 30 feet of cave-in/stone. The room on the right side of the Mythallar room is a storage room with the jail cell in it. The room to the left of it is the private study / library.

Fianna does her best to not look surprised (Performance: Unable to parse dice roll. )
“Well, isn’t that special?” Fianna says wryly and makes a show of bookmarking her page and setting the book aside. “If you’ll just wait but a moment...”
Fianna tilts her head a bit to the side without taking her eyes off the guest. “Toc, honey?” She calls out casually. “We’ve got a guest... “It’s...”
“I’m sorry, I don’t seem to have caught your name,” She says, as if he’s being naughty by not sharing it. “But my schedule is kept by my man Toc, so you’ll really have to take it up with him about wether of not this Virgil Klouse, was it? Wether or not we can squeeze them in...”
Fi’Finella, invisible as is her norm, snickers from a perch on a bookshelf across the room.
“Please do have a seat. I’m sure Toc will be just a moment...”
Nuzej is absolutely game for taking on the dragon. he prepares during the bonus long rest by raiding the evocation room. As an evocation wizard, he looks for spells, material components, spare wands, rods, or items, nice paper and ink, anything he could use to add to his spellbook.
((Says the woman shoving books into her bag of holding....))
There are no spare wands or rods, but there is an abundance of material components in the Baelnorns study, almost anything you could think of to cast any spell... (though the valuable ones were already listed, and then scooped up in a flash by Mirica). But there is plenty of nice paper, ink, (in addition to the ink pot that never runs dry...which I'm not sure if anyone grabbed that). And then there are the numerous books, littered with spells of all types. (So, you have 8 hours of copying spells if you like, at no cost since all the supplies can be found here....I will take the spell availability conversation into Discord, it'll be easier there...)
The others here Fianna calling for Toc, and the mention of a visitor.
The visitor replies to Fianna, "Thank you Fianna. You may call me Belamore. And it's ok...I'll stand."
Toc (any anyone else who heeds the call of a visitor)...comes wandering in. Toc looks to Fianna, "Uh...what's going on? Who is this?"

So next time she opens a DemiPlane she can put them in! Though she'd also be letting Tic see what she is setting aside. She is not hoarding just for herself, more wanting to put stuff we don't want to lose elsewhere because this place is NOT a secure location.))
"Ahhh, there you are. Toc, this is Belvedere. He would like to schedule an appointment for us to meet with a Virgil Klouse..." Fianna says with a mischievous warmth in her voice. "I told him that you are in charge of the schedule book."
Chen probably spends most of his free time in either the Abjuration room looking at the ghost shields or the Conjuration room playing with the mini-figures. Those rooms seem the least creepy. So he is just next door to the enchantment room and would have heard Fianna call out for Toc. Chen stiffens a bit when he sees a strange armed figure in the room, wonders how it got in and is embarrassed to think he might have been too preoccupied with toys to notice an intruder. The huge dragonborn says nothing but stands in the doorway, blocking it.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
When demons returned Mirica was the one attentively watching both. Non-aggressive behaviour of the fiends granted them a conversation before the cleric begun to do something about their presence. "You can talk - telepathically if not in Common. I want to return you to your Plane. Would you fight against it?" (Banishment on both if they are agreed)
Mirica too came to the sound of Fianna's voice calling to meet the guest. She appeared in the room with such a grim face expression that even a dragon servant could feel uncomfortable. With Toc's arrival the expression deepened but Mirica pointedly looked only at the drow. Fianna's playful teasing did not soften the cleric and she asked unceremoniously in a tone colder than winds of Frostfell "And where you propose to meet with the dragon?"
The creatures hiss at Mirica, and in her head she hears them say, "We will gladly comply..." She casts her spell and they each vanish...sucked into a spiral of energy.
"The name is Belamore. Very cute though. Verdant Cloud welcomes you into her home of course. She guarantees safe passage to the meeting."
Toc walks in, and looks a bit confused. He glances at the warrior, and is thoughtful for a few moments. Then he says, "And if we refuse?"
Belamore shrugs, with a crappy self assured smile on his face, "Well then, I suppose little changes. You will seek to kill her, and she will seek to kill you. However, she says that if you've killed Quaryl...then things have changed. She...can not forgive you for the death of her eldest child...but...perhaps her pursuit of your death can wait a decade or two.....you know, when you've forgotten all about her. For now she is willing to discuss a temporary treaty." He grins viciously.

We are all very capable beings, it is not like we need to share the same teacup in order to talk to one another. Surely if your master had terms they were willing to discuss they'd at least send an opening offer with you, and then discussions could move forward from there in any number of ways. Without one stepping into the others lair..."
"Much like yourself, Belvedere,' Fianna finishes with a smile. "We prefer to walk in uninvited."
Fianna examines the man. He is coated in illusion magic. Perhaps he's a gnome or a troll under all that magic.
The man's face sours, "Your disrespect and impertinence is unexpected....but not that surprising. I understand. You've defeated an ancient librarian. Congratulations." A wicked smile curves up his lips, "But you've defeated no one....a mere pawn. When the Warlock decides to deal with you, I look forward to hearing of your demise.
