Taking just a moment to get his bearings after the sudden teleportation, Chen sees the drow fighting Toc and charges at it with a deep growling roar.

Chen charges the Drow, his blow striking him twice and sending him staggering off to one side with a yell of pain.  Then a goat charges him and slams into his stomach with its horns.  He stumbles back...the breath knocked from him. 

(Reminder - everyone (except Fianna atm) have Bless on them, use your 1d4!)

That meant Mirica could join happy chopping of D3 to pieces, and she did:

Nuzej steps through and moving to the NE a few squares, sees D2 running away, and raises his hand as if to throw something -- some things -- quickly, and several scorching rays lance out toward them

(apologies, I mixed up the drow a bit, D2 is the one casting a spell...if that totally messes with you, we can adjust things a bit....darned PbP). 

The drow Fianna is watching is the one casting a spell, and finishes casting, surrounding himself in a sphere of utter darkness. Mirica appears, and instantly is dealing death, a floating hammer appearing and smashing the third drown in the skull.  Dazed and confused, she then leaps at him, her finger nails smoking and steaming with acid, slashing into him.  He collapses in a smoking heap. 

As Nuzej appears, he sees only a sphere of darkness in that direction.  (Would you like to target another drow or change your action?)

Yes, he wouldn't really know for sure what's in the sphere, though it's a decent assumption there's a drow there. So he'd target the remaining, visible drow.

Nuzej lets loose three blasts of fire, two of which strike the last visible drow who drops to the ground in flames. 

Fianna, it's also your action again....the last drow is inside the sphere of darkness.

     Thanks to her Eldritch Sight the darkness didn’t impede Fianna at all.  She stalked toward the drow and once again said the magical words, made the arcane gestures and unleashed that part of her will which created the three Eldritch Blast beams which rocket towards her target.

Russel moves silently forward to strike the closest target that is already engaged in melee with one of his new companions. (Should no one be close enough to strike, he will look for somewhere to hide stealth(minimum 25)20

Russel sees his new allies down the three drow with vicious efficiency. With no one left to target, he simply steps into the shadows at the side of the cave.  Fianna's rays slash through the darkness, and the drow collapses...the darkness evaporating.

Out of initiative for the moment.  

The whole cave is filled with a rushing roaring sound coming from the left passage.

"Do hope this is not the mother-dragon herself charging in," Mirica's tone was actually telling the opposite - few hits were not enough for her to let off steam.

     Fianna continues walking up to the Drow she felled. Upon reaching it she kicks it once, grunting with effort, then kneels and checks the body...

     “I’d resume on her,” Fianna says to the others. “But I doubt we’re going to have time.  The illusion one that visited us earlier surely knows what went down here..,”

     With that thought in mind Fianna summons her Devil’s Sight to detect magic to look for said illusion or whatever else may be revealed.

As Fianna moves forward, another probable illusion of the armored warrior appears in the middle of the room suddenly. It looks towards the stairs she's just come up and says, not quite making eye contact, "Follow me."  He turns and heads towards the opening straight ahead.  There is another opening that goes to the right that he ignores. As Fianna moves to the drow, she sees illusion magic seems to be covering areas all over this place.  As well, from her angle near the drow body she can see into the next room and sees the source of the roaring sound. The opening leads through to the top of a cliff ledge, that overlooks a huge cave. In the middle of the cave an underground river runs into a huge lake...the center of which is filled with a huge vortex...over 90 feet across.  Moisture from the mists cover everything. As well, the walls of the cave seem to be coated in thick webbing....which is sheathed in water droplets. From here, she can see a few ettins scrambling across the walls and ceiling, clinging to the webs. The cave is well lit by magical lights that are embedded in the walls. Gold, and other treasure seems strewn about the cave floor all about.  On the far side of the lake with the vortex, hunches a massive, ancient looking green dragon. It's beady lidded eyes stair across the several hundred feet towards you. 

The probable illusionary warrior walks through the gap to the top of the cliff on the far side and stands to one side, and says, "Your audience with the Verdant Cloud has begun." 

Does the vortex look similar to the ball-o-death we tangled with? Similar to the mythal? Or something entirely new. Nuzej has a lot of questions but is deferring to his companions on that front.

     "Huh.  Yeah.  No...." Fianna says, taking in the surroundings.  This looks much like the absolute last place they should willingly tangle with that there dragon.  Fianna turns away from the Drollusion and walks back the way she came, heading towards the rest of the party and kind of gesturing them back.  

     "Big dragon.  Big.  Green.  Probably ancient.  Lots and lots of illusion magic littering the place.  Ents. Webs. Water.  Not good," She advises.  "Maybe we should just talk outside..."

     Fianna is indeed walking back towards the point she entered, hoping the fresco there works and has the same magic catchphrase.  She suspects either one or both is not true but she hopes none the less.

((Pretty sure it's just a water vortex, not as magical as the Mithral, though maybe magical in it's own right...))

(Yes, it's just a water vortex.  A big spinning spiral of water that is draining out through some unseen hole in the bottom of the lake.  Sorta like when you let the water out of the bathtub and a little funnel appears.  Just like that.  But.  Big.)

"We can try," Mirica was walking after Fianna, "but how do you propose we do that? Unless you know how to goad her to get out. We came to fight dragon - and here be dragon. The web can be destroyed, minions defeated. And dragon... We killed one already."

Agreed. Let's do what we came to do. Chen looks around and points at the passage heading north. Perhaps that provides another way around to the beast. Or certainly it would be forced to fly over here and engage us if we were to cast arrows at it. Is there any way we can prevent it from escaping? Can we block the entrance room? Meanwhile... perhaps someone should talk to it. It's times like this Chen misses Jahren, knowing his silver tongue could be the greatest of their weapons. But if no-one else volunteers, Chen will - but it won't be pretty.
