"Let's investigate the cave-in more closely. They may be using it to hide something," suggests Kerric. He moves to the back of the cave with the cave-in and tries to look for hidden clues or loose rock that may conceal a hidden passage.

The monk would snicker to herself when the tiefling would suggest a clockwise rotation. It sounded like a fancy way to start left instead of right. Ebele would strain her ears to listen and follow her party members into the cave. As they visually inspected the area, she’d place her head against the cave wall near the cave in to see if she’d hear anything worth while. If not, she could at least say she got herself dirty trying.
Focusing on the stones at the cave-in, Kerric finds nothing useful. Just as he is about to give up, Xalkas comes over and helps him look. Kicking up a bit of dust as they work together, Kerric turns to hand a stone to the gnome and sees a swirl of dust disappear under the wall!
Moving over to that area, he is able to locate the outline of a concealed door. “Thanks, Xalkas, it looks like we just found a way forward,” he says, “let’s check it for alarms and see if we can get it open.”
With Xalkas’ help, Kerric looks for traps and tries to determine the right method to open the hidden door.

you see a muddy tunnel about 5 foot wide leading south and decending. next to the door is a small wooden coffer next to a heap of damp sand from which the ends of 2 torches protrude
Picking up the coffer, Kerric opens it, expecting to find flint and steel for the torches. He asks, “Should we risk a few torches? Maybe close the door behind us first?”
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker pats Kerric on the back, "I knew you weren't just a pretty face." He walks past him as they discuss lighting and treads carefully down the incline into the darkness.
Taking a small knife out of his sheath on his belt Xalkas imbues it with light and hands it to T'chal'fronack'zcinicker “This is as good as a torch and can easily be concealed if needed. Just cover it completely to hide the light” (Reghys pan flute should still have light as well if it’s less than an hour since departing the inn) Xalkas follows along after T'chal'fronack'zcinicker trying to mimic the tiefling and attempting to walk quietly himself.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ebele would wait patiently while the boys figured out the cave in had a secret door. Once the friendly bromance had passed, the monk would tiptoe behind the group once they finished discussing light sources. She had nothing to add on the discussion, as it made no difference to her.
You all go through the tunnel, sloping downward 100 then two hundred yards through the damp then you enter an irregularly shaped cavern that has a floor of smooth bedrock. Damp dirt and stone, with tree roots protruding here and there, make up the walls. a stone slab — a door with a rusty pull-ring — stands to the east. By the stone door, a couple well-used cloaks and a waterskin are on the floor.

Kerric will follow around with the others as they check the tunnels, keeping his eyes out for lurking Stone Masked cultists or clues of their passage.
