Xalkas cautiously steps into the room hoping he won’t start floating and begins to examine the rock more closely. Trying to determine what it is, how old it is, and where it could have come from.
“Look at me! I’ve gone an grown an extra two feet!” He seems very excited as he says this. Then panic sets in a bit “though I’m not sure how to get down” He looks about frantically for a way down. Then tries pushing off against the rock to make his way back to the ground.
Reghys, seeing the little gnome floating about in the room, is overcome with joy and quickly leaps in too, thoroughly enjoying the fact that they can leap a full six feet in the air now, with ease. They quickly grab onto the gnome though, trying to calm him down and share the joy of this room.

T'chal'fronack'zcinicker frowns at the situation. Then he shrugs and smiles, “Well, they certainly speed up the experimentation phase, though their approach isn’t entirely scientific.” He steps just into the room looking for any other exits or anything of interest other than all the levitating people/things.

Xalkas is not at all calmed by Reghys efforts and looks imploringly at Kerric and T'chal'fronack'zcinicker saying “Please help get me down from here.” As he pushes off against the Satyr hoping that will move him out of the affected area.
Pulling out his Elven rope (silk rope), Kerric tosses one end of it to the upset gnome and toes him back to solid ground. He watches Xalkas angle back to the floor and reaches out to try and touch the floor about where he saw the levitation effect, experimenting to see if he feels any resistance.

T'chal'fronack'zcinicker leaves the rescue to Kerric, and picks up a rock off the ground and tosses it into the room. He then picks up a bunch more and starts walking around the outside of the room towards the south exit, tossing rocks along in front of him. If he's able to find a clear path around the outside to the south exit, then he glances down it. If it looks 'clear', he'll begin tossing rocks and try to figure out where the edge of the effect begins. He'll play with it a bit, placing a pebble in the field. Seeing if just his hand in the field does anything to him. He'll try to reach back in and pull floating pebbles out.

“A most intriguing area” Xalkas says in wonderment. “I was hoping it was tied to that stone there and we might make use of it. But it seems tied to this room sadly.” Xalkas watches the satyr still frolicking in the levitation field “You gonna join us? Or should we leave you here?” Xalkas then follows T'chal'fronack'zcinicker to the next area. Almost as an after thought, Xalkas looks to Kerric, “Thank you kind elf! I realize now I don’t like beings I far from the ground.”
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker, not yet done experimenting, begins scribbling on some paper. He turns to Reghys flapping around in the air, "This is not a document of a type that I shall not name until this day is through. I am simply taking notes." He pulls out his water skin, and puts it into the area, and squirts some water out. He moves his hand through the water, if it floats.

“You are most welcome, Xalkas,” says Kerric to the gnome, adding, “Can you detect this phenomenon from a distance? It would be nice to be able to determine if there are similar effects at play if we get into a battle in a new area.”
Looking over at the frolicking satyr, he smiles when he sees timidity replaced by simple joy. Reluctantly, he suggests, “Come on Reghys, let’s move on. Perhaps there will be more interesting gravitational phenomena ahead.”
Kerric moves carefully over to the southern exit of the room.

Reghys is stiking all sorts of poses, some of them rather lude. It's clear that they are having great fun all of a sudden, the previous fear being completely blown away. Reghys can't help but snicker at T's remark. "Friend, the good thing about not making anything into a contract? You can adapt. You've been great so far, and it shows me you're a more flexible person than I at first thought. I, Reghys, of sound mind and body, well, most of the time anyway, permit you to write contracts again. After all, I'm pretty sure we passed midnight, and even if we didn't, I'm happy to say we did, for your sake."
Then, sensing that the group was ready to push on, Reghys was slowly trying to maneuver to the edge of the gravitational phenomenon, doing their best to avoid plummeting to the ground like T's rocks.

Well Rehgys is now floating above Xalkas. And other than the exit to the south and the way you came in there isnt anything else in the room

once Xalkas gets about 5 feet from the center (where the stone was) he just drops to the ground
