And you guys make it to the main room.

In the middle of this room, a stone cube rests on a plain stone pedestal. Statues of twelve tribal warriors jut from the surrounding walls, aiming bows at the pedestal. The floor in front of the pedestal bears a mosaic depicting a monstrous serpent constricting a furious monkey. Moss obscures much of the detail.

"Okay, let's back out, and then I'll try and take it out from afar," Kira whispers to the group.

"Okay." Asha says while backing up.

Everyone backs out.

Kira casts mage hand.

The hand touches the cube.

The cube vanishes!

Magical arrows appear into the bows of the archer statues.

They fire - THP THP THP THP THP THP.

Then, all is quiet. The cube is gone.

"Well what do we do now?"

"There must be a way to get into those other rooms on the map Orvex showed us.." Zyn suggested.

Kira taps her chin. "I have another idea!" The gnome begins searching the walls of the corridor.

Aside from the floor traps on the ground and the peep holes along the walls, there's no doors in the corridor. Perhaps someplace else?

Asha will search the cube room for any hidden passages, since it's the only other room in this shrine.

Perception:6

There are two secret doors. One that lead to each of the rooms you can see through the peepholes from the corridor with the floor traps.

Asha leads the party through one of the secret doors.

Which one. There’s two. Left or right side?

AREA 6D - WESTERN SECRET ROOM

A statue of a coiled serpent dominates this web-filled room. The statue is missing its head, which lies broken on the floor next to a stone cube. The statue is 7 feet tall without its head. A puzzle cube lays on the ground next to the remains of the head on the floor.

"I don't trust that this isn't trapped. Kira, do that thing with your Mage Hand again."

Kira nods and flicks her fingers, and an invisible force lifts the cube up.

As you mage hand the cube, it puffs away in a small cloud of green smoke. Another trap. But nothing happens.

Asha sighs in frustration. "Let's try the other room, then."
