Chill watches as the others stop 40 feet from the tower and the contracts. He fingers the luckstone for a moment before returning it to its pouch. He settles in with his crossbow waiting for what he feels is an inevitable fight.
Krom does his best to ignore the consescending tone in the Professor's voice as he speaks about the Magen. "Very interesting Professor. Is it possible to disable them before they animate again? Do they have any weaknesses?"
The dwarf points with his hammer at the three Magen on the left and at the one in the center. "We have fought the sword-wielding Magen, what can you tell us about those on the left and the one in the center? They look like wizards to me."
Despite Professor Skant's usual condescension not being leveled in his direction, Rhogar still found himself letting out a low, rumbling growl from just hearing the entity's voice for a few seconds too long in his opinion. Nevertheless, in the wake of exhausting more peaceful options and without any sufficient knowledge or magic to make a go at duplicity, the dragonborn began rubbing his chin and studying the less armored guardian.
"Hmph. A wizard? Hah!"Said Rhogar. "That would be.... Hmm.... actually on second thought, perhaps that wouldn't be as far as fetched as I thought. At the very least, I'd wager the two less armored models have some ability to manipulate the weave in some capacity. Though to one extent, I... I suppose the professor might be able and willing to indulges on that. In the best case scenario I would be able to unravel any true spell weaving on their part once or twice, but, eh, let us hope that is the extent of their abilities."

"It matters not what each has in its capabilites. As if these construct have a simple on and off switch? Really the notion is quite absurd and I had hoped, maybe, you were smarter than that. But alas, no. They are programmed for a function. They will ignore you unless something occurrs that their function requires them to act. Simple as that. If you try and enter and they are set to guard and stop intruders then they will act to stop you. If not, they will ignore you."
"Well that was delightfully... helpful. Many thanks as always, Professor." Rhogar said reluctantly while rubbing his temple. "But there we have it, my friends. Though I'm somewhat loathe to throw the first punch, we have much to explore, and enough other, eh, 'complications' to manage. So best we not hedge our bets further and remove them from the board. That is -my- advice at least, but, uh.... my ears remain open to any final alternative. Otherwise, Chill, I say you should have the honors. See if you can, eh... 'disable' the robed one first."

"Perfect shot, Chill!" shouts Krom as the Tabaxi's bolt destroyes one of the Magen. Seeing as the other Magen begins to animate, the dwaf chants an hymn of evocation conjuring a score of radiant dwarven warriors around him. "Let's even the odds!" says as he charges the constructs. The radiant dwarves, upon reaching their targets, wield their gleaming greataxes and mauls to wreak havoc upon the Magen. Krom braces his shield preparing to block the attacks of the swords-wielding constructs.

"Indeed that was! Very good, Chill!" Rhogar exclaimed, genuinely impressed by the Tabaxi's accuracy. However, as one not so inclined to rest on his laurels while everyone else does the hard work, the dragonborn raises his staff up high, and calls upon his own word of power in his native tongue, leaving Oli, Kazri, Krom, and Rhogar faintly glowing with an electric blue aura that occasionally flickered as sparks of harmless electricity danced about their form.
"Gorrah. You know what to do."The dragonborn said aloud. But alongside his words was a single shared thought between the two, spurring the psuedodragon to take wing with a battle chirp of her own. Tempted as she was to dive bomb her intended victim, Gorrah instead flew in at wide and low arc with the intent of flanking the further most Gaven, and stinging it in the neck!

Despite the strike against Gorrah appearing to be a clean one, the resulting injury fails to truly reflect expectations. In fact, she hardly seemed to reel from the blow, but rather had somehow used the force of it to knock her off course of the follow-up attack. Her eyes all the while being engulfed in blue, eldritch flames that fade away fast once she was out of immediate danger.
