(OOC: Sadly, Rhogar's spell ended during the wait for prayer of healing, but c'est la vie)
A brow ridge rises at the statement, before then with a shrug, Rhogar squeezes his way past the others as much as necessary to get a better look at Kazri's "concern". "That's-....!"Started the dragonborn before catching himself in time. His eyes than narrowed and a hand is set to much quiet chin rubbing as he contemplated the nature of the creature, and how it might've related to foe the slaid at the base of the tower.
Of course he eventually notices the slab at its strange inscription. But short of being able to read it from afar without drawing much more attention, the dragonborn eventually had to step back to whisper and convey what he knew of at least the creature itself, but with his first thoughts at least hinting at the possibility of the frog being another Nothic situation. "Either way, it seems... peaceful enough to converse with. We need but mind our manners and be stay at least somewhat on guard." He adds on towards the end.

Krom, shield and hammer at the ready, carefully follows the group inside the tower and up towards the top floor. As he walks, the dwarf scans the interior of the building looking for metal implements for future uses. Upon reaching the top, Krom's gaze is immediately drawn to the adamantine shields covering the windows. The dwarf is so fully drawn by them that for a brief moment he doesn't notice the frog. Krom acknowledges Rhogar's remarks with a nod and, whispering to the Professor Orb asks "What do you think Professor? Keep your voice low as we do not need to startle that creature."
Chill stows his crossbow and elects to draw his rapier due to the confines of the tower and the stairs. He waits at the back of the line and provides rear guard for the party as they investigate the top floor of the tower. He watches the stairs and makes sure nothing comes up behind them.
Rhogar takes a good look at the green slaad. He's certain that the blue and now the green are of the same species. Though the blue was far more brutish and this one seems far more intelligent as it works at the controls of the telescope.
The Professor Orb actually does keep his voice down and sounds intrigued. "I would venture to guess that the blue slaad down below infected a mage that was here in the tower. These creatures reproduce in a most horrible way and I would say that you, Krom, are very lucky that the blue ones clawing of you did not infect you in any way. They pass on a disease, or an infection, called chaos phage. It transforms its victim into a fully grown red slaad, or green slaad if the victim was able to manipulate the weave. This green one was likely a mage, the mage in charge of this tower perhaps. Perhaps also the door being welded shut was to keep the blue slaad in, to prevent it from escaping. It was a good thing you killed it. It could cause much destruction if it had escaped these caves."
As the orb speaks Rhogar reads the words on the chunk of wall that he can safely presume is from the Tower of Divination. It bears the following inscription in Draconic: “ed a secret about yourself for all to hear.”
Full inscription is
Third, a burnt palm loosens the tongue. Shed a secret about yourself for all to hear.
Krom listens carefully as the Professor tells them about the slaad and their terrible disease "In that case we have to deal with the green one too before it finds out that the door is not welded anymore. It's our responsibility, we forced our way in for gathering information. We have to put the poor mage, if he is still in there, to rest before the slaad escape. With all the rubble and discarded materials below, I could seal this tower for good, but the slaad might escape in the future, especially if they retain some arcane abilities from their previous life."
Though somewhat disappointed at the limit of his understanding of the creature, the dragonborn could no more deny there being only so few hours in the day, than he could the fact that Brother Vixix might've steered him away from most topics about the otherwordly to keep younger Rhogar safe. So instead, he shifted focused to the inscription while half-listening Professor Orb. Rhogar would repeatedly mouth the words inscribed several times, as well as completing the phrase from the group's previous discovery, before nodding inwardly in satisfaction.
"As abhorrent as their reproductive means are, I confess to feeling somewhat reticent to put an end to that one. For if it still possesses all if not most of their ability to manipulate the weave and has been here since fall at that, I doubt it could not have escaped well before now if they so wish and wrecked untold havoc."Rhogar whispered to the group. "I... I wish to try and converse with them first. And if this one proves just as hostile as the other, THAN feel free to do what you feel you must, Master Krom."He then turns to regard everyone else. "Is that alright with you all as well?"
If able to get everyone's approval, Rhogar smiles appreciatively, turned his attention again on the creature, then following taking one last breath to steady his nerves, both he and Gorrah would step more into view and at least begin approaching the Slaad. "Greetings and salutations! Pardon our intrusion, but I would have words with you, should you, eh, understand common tongue? Or mayhaps you speak draconic?" He says, though the last question is spoken in draconic.
Kazri stows her sword, but she will keep her hand on the handle. Just in case. Oli is standing behind her.

Could it be an item both as blessed and as "cursed" as the one that led the group to the tower? Or has even in his(?) Slaad, the mage's hunger for knowledge couldn't to plague it? And wasn't the roof of the cavern enclosed the ruins wholly or was some other magic at work here!? The more the questions rattled around in the dragonborn's head, the more his fingers rapt at the staff ever in hand.

"At least we learned the other part of the phrase," says Krom, placing a hand on Rhogar's shoulder. "You are right, that creature seems completely obsessed with their telescope." The dwarf nods in agreement. "It pains me a bit to leave those adamantine shields here, but as we do not know what surprises the other Towers or they city might have in store for us, it's better to save my hymns for later." As the group returns to the ground floor, Krom searches for a few metal items for future use. The dwarf also collects several pieces of damaged furnitures of various shapes. Once outside of the tower, the dwarf places the damaged door back in its frame. Using his axe, the dwarf chops the furnitures into pieces, creating makeshifts wedges around it to hold it in place. He then takes out his alchemy jug and pours water all over the door and the wooden pieces. "Rhogar, could you freeze the water? It should help keep everything together. It may not withstand a direct assault, but it's better than leaving the door open."

"Mind staying with her while I and Krom see to the door? For I imagine it won't be as simple as a mending spell." Rhogar said with a bit of a chuckle. Taking that as her cue, Gorrah languidly slides off from her perch on Rhogar and glides on over to Chill's shoulder before Rhogar and Krom potentially depart for the downstairs.
Eventually later downstairs(with everyone... unless things happen)...
"Hmm... I could, actually. Though, we'll have to hope this place is significantly cold enough to keep it frozen past an hour, as my enchantment upon it will only last so long."Rhogar warns while absently enchanting the water as request with but a few casual strokes of the hand to form a seamless reinforcement to the project.
