Bramnus looks on with amusement. “ An impressive idea indeed! We’ll know soon enough what awaits us in these caves.”.
Bramnus looks at the goblin and declares, “I wouldn’t waste time withholding information, goblin. We will find out soon enough what lies within these walls. Whether or not you’re alive when we do is up to you.”.
"yeah, that. Now i'll ask again. what is in here?" Eraqrin waves his flaming axe around for added effect, and then smiles at the goblin. But it isn't a nice smile. It's a "lets find out what your insides look like" smile.

T'ohra leaves the others to continue harassing the blubbering Goblin, instead keeping her eyes peeled for anything of note, still standing ready in case the threat decides to show itself.

If you think my puns are bad, I'll remind you, my profile pic says otherwise.
As Eraqrin's axe ignited, the light castes reflected something that hit back to his eye. Bending down to see, you find the beam structure within the cave itself were obviously dwarven crafted.
Also, at the corner of your eye, you see a shadow darting across behind the goblin. It was there but as you tried to focus your gaze, it vanished.
The goblin however is only focused on the lights and is paralyzed in fear.
Saproth pushes him further down the cave corridor until we all arrive at a wide opening.
Walking further, both of you notice the poor goblins body is ridden with injuries, patterns of lashes that don’t quite correspond to those made from bites. It also seems like something wrapped and ripped off some flesh from its forearm.
“My adoptive grandmother used to tell me stories about how goblins would kidnap baby direwolves and train them into their service...” Saproth remembered as he walked, nudging the goblin forward with his quarterstaff.
Wood and branches littered the floor with more gore and blood from fallen goblins.

"Huh. That's unsettling. Okay, goblin. We're going to try this one last time." Eraqrin jumps on the goblin, holds him down, and positions his greataxe at his neck. "TALK!", he screams.
“Smee!” Pointed at himself, indicating his name. “Smee part of capture goblins! Capture small Direwolf in trap for no bite goblin pets!”
“Trap baby Direwolf!” He tried to make gestures to explain, he was not well versed with common tongue. “No baby Direwolf…” his tone tuned grim, “Dark beast inside trap… keep whip me! Painful!” The cryptic description was all he could muster.
OOC: Sorry, the A.I. just goes on a loop... Ask something more specific...
"Beast wake up..." The goblin replied, "not baby wolf... bad beast!" He pointed at his wounds. The goblin looked a little paler now, as if loosing consciousness.
Perhaps it is badly injured and was running on adrenaline until now.
It sloped to the cave wall but tried to keep its feet under it. The goblin then pointed beyond. "Cage inside!"
Bramnus looks in the direction the goblin pointed and remarks, “I believe that we’ll find the answers we seek if we head in that direction. With all of the goblin parts thrown around the entrance to this cave I doubt we’re heading into a goblin trap. Maybe the goblins weren’t running to the villages to attack but rather to seek refuge? Maybe the goblins were running AWAY from a terrible danger.”.
Bramnus grips his wahammer tightly and says, “ I think that we should investigate the cages and see what we find. What does everyone else think?”.
"By all means," T'ohra said, "investigate to your hearts content." She remained standing where she was, at the ready, still keeping her senses tuned in case of a threat.

Bramnus looks inquisitively at the goblin and asks, “What type of beast whipped you and why? Are there other goblins being held against their will?”.
Bramnus looks at the group and remarks, “There appears to be more to this story than we imagined....”

Through the thick darkness, three wooden cages of poor construction can be seen at the far end of the cavern. You couldn't see beyond the three cages.
You also hear something chattering at the other end of the cavern, but its too far in the darkness to see.
Eraqrin lights a torch and throws it to the other side of the room to see better, then he investigates.

The torch inexplicably snuffed out before it hit the floor.
The chattering from the other end of the room seems to grow louder. The tied up goblin seemed to be invigorated for some reason upon hearing it.
Eraqrin walks over to the other side of the room, still wielding his flaming greataxe to shed some light on the situation.

You walk up and find another corridor curving to the left, but blocked by an empty wooden cage. The cage is also covered in goblin blood.
Bramnus walks up to the wooden cage and attempts to push it to the side.
