Round 2: Kurstin nearly gags at the bloody display of the powerful shark attacking its prey. He watched helplessly as Kai sank to the bottom of the river, his lifeless form making its own dark red cloud in contrast to his bright blue one. While the rest of the group fought off the shark, the artificer took a deep breath, dove below the surface of the water, and swam hard towards his new colleague. Reaching Kaisaras, Kurstin pulled a small glass vial in a metal cage and with a strange needle-like contraption on one end out of his belt pouch and stabbed the half-elf in the neck. He then grabbed Kai and kicked off the bottom back towards the pilings! (Casting Cure Wounds for 7 hp! and trying to get Kai out of danger.)
Kaisaras' initial wound to his leg, bringing him down to a knee and as he tried to raise his blade to protect himself and getaway, the shark bit down on his torso. The fear of his disguise being damaged was the last thing on the young noble's mind as he felt control and sensation in his body fade, and his head felt submerged in water. He felt....cold.....and growing colder.
Danse snarls. Kai was useful for killing Gaedren, and that was Danse's primary care. "Get him to safety," Danse barked to Kurstin, forgoing his sheathed scimitars for a longbow retrieved from Danse's back. Danse thrashed around, spitting some of his own blood leftover from Hookshank's assault to attract the shark. With his remaining free / bonus, he stows the longbow, placing both hands on his scimitars, and he waded forward.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Before Kai Jumps:
Radgar would nod his head, grateful to be given the permission he needed to stay behind and cover the party's rear. He also didn't like the look of that water, or much like his chances of trying to swim in all this iron either.
Round 1:
Hearing the cries and sounds of struggle below, the burly dwarf drops to his stomach and leans into the darkness underneath, looking to see how he can help his comrades.
(Held Action Sacred Flame if he can see the shark Dex 13 save or 6 damage range 60 feet)
Getting back to his feet, Kaisaras shot up from the water at Kurstain's aid with a jolt. Coughing up water, he wiped away at his eyes before striking out with his dagger at the beast responsible for taking him down.
(btw, dagger is still technically lit up with Light, since it's not concentration)
(Was Kurstin able to get both Kai and himself back towards the pilings/wooden walkway to the south (right side of the picture) at the beginning of round 2?)
Brock takes. deep breath as he struggles to keep his head above water. Unable to focus on both fighting the fish and fighting against the wait of his gear, he sinks under the bloodstained water and focuses solely on fighting the shark. as the fish circles past he quickly punches towards the nose of the creature before pulling in his legs and kicking at the sharks snapping teeth.

It took all of Kurstin's movement to get to Kai last round and bring him back to the surface
Dane sliced through the back of the shark's neck after missing the first blow, pushing downwards until a crack was heard. The shark immediately went limp, and Danse retrieved his scimitar, kicking the lifeless corpse away. Perhaps some sushi would do once Gaedren was killed. He turned to look at the rest of the party. "I'm not keen on getting swamped by sharks. Let's move quick. Radger, secure a rope up there so we can climb up more easily."
Danse will simply look around for any signs of Gaedren or anything that could lend a clue to his whereabouts.
Now that they are out of the water and the shark was dead, Kurstin looked around the under-pier for a way in to the old hull. It was moments like this when he was happy for the modified sight - despite the strange looks and awkward conversations about his eyes during the day...
Kai stands taking off his scarf to wrap it around his leg that was still bleeding, calling up, "We are now." Those who wished to would now be able to see the young man's face for the first time since they met him back in the small fortune-telling shop. A relatively handsome face with sharp features and lips pursed in pain. Tying off the scarf to his leg wound, he'd start moving towards the boat, "Let's get this over with, yes?"
Kaisaras stood before the Kraken's Folly, alongside the others. He'd speak softly, in case others inside the ship might be listening, "Remember, don't kill him outright. We need him alive...hurt him if you wish, but DO NOT, kill him. Other people need justice too." Once he had a confirming nod from the others, Kaisaras would ask Brock to do the honors. "You're easily the most eager...you first."
Kurstin will silently describe what he sees to Brock and Kaisaras, who may not be able to make out the details in the darkness. He described the old ship, the name of the vessel, the interior and the ladder heading to an upper deck. He's happy to let Brock go first, but says, "Maybe Danse or I should go first and scope out what's up there. If it's dark we'll be able to spot any traps better - if it's lit up then Brock and Kai can go in."
Heading up the ladder (first or last =) he'll keep an eye out for traps or broken steps. Perception: 10

'Gahhh, ye fools. Hang on!' with that final grumble, the dwarf plunges down into the under pier.
