Twitch unsheathes their claws and leaps onto the imp with a yowl.

(I think Meep casting his spell would be his action, but if he has more time, he'll cast Mage Armor on himself as well.)

Delmalis races quickly forward to try and land some quick punches to drive off the small fiend.

(In case it matters, his unarmed attacks count as magical)

With Demalis and Twitch's combined punching and swiping, the imp is dead. People are screaming until a tall man steps forward. "No one is allowed to leave until we conduct an investigation." 

The guards shut the doors as the man scans the room. "I'm Captain Staget and anyone who wants to help in the investigation can come talk to me." 

Delmalis signals to the others, and heads over towards the Captain.

Lussa will head towards the captain as well.

<I'll remind among the crowd for the time being.> Sybil will telepathically tell Delmalis through her Awakened mind,.

Twitch pads at Delmalis' heels.

Staget sees Lussa and Demalis approaching. "From Trollskull Alley? I've heard good thing about you. I take it you're here to help?"

Lussa nods, but let's Delmalis do the talking.

Delmalis gives a shrug and nod, "We're here because we were invited, but we'll help if we can."

Sybil as you're in the crowd, roll a Perception check.

In the crowd, you notice Lord and Lady Cassalanter eyeing the crowd and whispering to each other, but you think it's just them worried about how it will affect their party and standing. You notice Victoro meet eyes with you and then he walks toward Demalis and the Captain. 

"Please, Captain Staget what Demalis is saying is true. I invited him as well as his companions. Please, allow me to speak with him." 

Staget stands back as Victoro motions you to follow him. As you do, he nods. "I hoped to meet with you all in private, but it appears the timing has moved faster. I was hoping to hire you and your lot for a job."

Delmalis glances at Lussa before turning back, "What job, exactly? Anything to do with what just happened?"

" Fiends bad. There are children here.....we should check for more fiends to be sure...."

Victoro nods. "Possibly. Someone has been threatening my family in the last couple of weeks. I received this note last month."

The note reads

Meep peeks at the note. "ASB? Do you know who that is?" 

Victoro nods. "I think I do and if it's who I think it is, we're in danger. Have you ever heard of Ableforth Sunblight?""
