Meep your fire bolt goes wide

Sybil's eldritch blasts smack it in the chest and Twitch manages to land two claw attacks.

Mable casts Dissonant Whispers behind the creature

 Devil Sunblight can't move and Mable will raise her arm to Demalis. "Hit another one-two combo!"

Demalis has 1d8 Bardic Inspiration. 

It's now Demalis' turn. 

Delmalis continues his furious assault.

He succeeded on all four saves. 

But once Demalis' turn is over, Sunblight will try and run away from Mable. Demalis, go ahead and make an AOO. 

Delmalis swings with his staff, trying to stun the demon as it flees.

Attack: 13 Damage: 13 Last Ki Point for one more Stunning Strike.

That attack will miss. 

Also I messed up, Twitch and Mable also get an AOO.

Meep, Sybil, and Twitch, go ahead and post your actions. 

"He must really get paid well to be able to endure all of this," Sybil said as she takes her rod and seem to strike the air as she cast Toll the Dead.

Wis Save: 16

Damage: 18 I assume they've beeen injured. 

Twitch yowls in frustration and launches themselves at the fiends neck, sinking their claws in and wrenching down.

Meep uses another star from his robe and casts Magic Missile at 5th level - 26 force damage 

OOC: Yes they've been injured. 

Meep unleashes more magic missles that slam into the devil. 

Sunblight WIS Save = 13

The necrotic wave washes over them as Twitch sinks their claws into them. The devil howls in pain before it returns to Sunblight's form. His eyes staring into Twitch's as before turning to Meep and Mable and he mutters a "how?" before falling limp. 

You're out of combat. Nice work everyone. 

Delmalis steps up and starts searching the body, "Does anyone see any documents or anything that might explain what's going on?"

"Ain't we here for a dwarf, who if still in the area would be have been alerted to our presence? And maybe departing?" Sybil questions as Delmalis checks the bodu. 

Meep looks at Mable. "I don't recall him being able to shapeshift - was he always a devil in disguise?" Meep will poke at the body with his staff to make sure it's Sunblight. 

"Possible it merely a distraction or body double. When I scryed upon him, he mentioned  'I just need to gather my things, maybe something a demon or something'," Sybil states as she look around if it goes deeper. 

Meep pokes the body and it's still Sunblight. Roland examines it as well and turns to everyone. "If he's a servant of Asmodeus, then it's likely he struck a deal to become a devil." 

He also finds a small statue of a dragon that appears like this

Mable smacks it from his hand as it hits the floor. "It's made of chardilyn. Don't touch it with your bare hands. Sunblight was likely looking for this in Waterdeep. Roland is also right about Sunblight striking a deal with Asmodeus." 

Anyone who wants to search the room, go ahead. 

Twitch carved a smiley face into Sunblight with their claws and then went sniffing about the room.

Investigation: 19

Twitch you hear Mable giggle as she watches you carve your smiley face. As she puts a cloth over her hands to retrieve the claw, you search the room and find 

500 gold in a bag that you can tell belongs to Sunblight. You also find a compartment that opens a closet. Inside you find 

multiple outfits of clothing, jewelry, hats, dice, alcohol, a book that looks similar to Meep's except this has the name "Danilo Thann" on it, herbs, wine, and sugar cubes. You also find carried a pendant with a crest that matches the one on the crypt. 

What's everyone else doing? 

Sybil looking around the room for any secret passages or similar.

Investigation: 18 (ofc)

Sybil, you don't find any secret passages but you do find a hidden doorway that opens into a closest. There are more clothes but these are some of the finest wares you've seen. Many of them are decorated with the Thann Family crest, but you notice a few pairs of clothes with an elven crest on them. It's not familiar. You also find a piece of paper with this map drawn on it. 

 It's an older map of Evermeet, which you'd likely know that it was the last true kingdom of the elves.
