Not to be outdone, Demalis walks up next to the other goblin and deals a 1-2 combo that caves in its chest. Whoever decides to search finds a pouch with 4 gold pieces.
In front of you is the stairs descending into room 11, or you can turn right and enter the secret room leading you back to Q1.

Meep catches the pouch and takes a quick peek inside, only mildly disappointed there are no grubs inside. "Yes, let's continue - lead the way, I'm right behind you."
The main sewer tunnel expands into a circular hub with a pair of arrow slits carved into its outer walls, directly across from each other. Two passages continue on to the north and south. A stone door is set into the back wall of a stone ledge to the west.
Basically, the room is a central hub and you can go into one of the Q10 rooms or Q7.

(I think that description is for the sewer we started from, with those arrow slits being from the Q2s, and the stone door being in Q1)
Alberich follows the others down the stairs, and takes a look around. He quietly notes: "Two smaller doors to the sides, and big double doors in the back. Can you guess which ones I find more intriguing?" He then sneaks to the back of the room, and tries to listen for anything happening behind the double doors.
Alberich backs off the double doors, and takes out his shortbow. He beckons the others to him, and whispers: "At least two people in there, and they've realized they got the wrong man. I feel this would be a good moment to attack, and we may even be able to persuade them to give Floon to us and let us leave in peace if they really are so few in there. Just don't mention we freed Mr. Neverember already, it sounded like they are planning to go back after him."
"Doesn't the way to get Mr. Neverember the way we are? I think we should find an ambush point," Sybil replies, "Admittedly I may require some gudiance to an ambush point,"

Delmalis shakes his head, "Do you think they'll let the one they have live? Once they make the decision to go back for Neverember, they'll likely kill the very person we're looking for so as not to leave witnesses. Or move him further into the stronghold, let's get him while we can."
"They don't want their boss to know so they won't be taking him farther in their base for sure," Sybil whispers in the dark, "Sound like one already heading back, which I believe we're standing in the way of. Unless you want to standing in the hallway when they open up that door, we better find a spot we can take him down before he can tell his buddies,"

"If I know anything about criminal hideouts, it's that they have multiple exits. And we have no guarantee that they are going to use this one. I'd say we should deal with them while we know where they are", Alberich gives his professional opinion on the situation.
Lussawhispers, "action over waiting, if they're debating their next action, they won't be ready for ours." She takes a step back and assumes a ready stance to move or shoot as the case may be.

Demalis, you listen at each door and don't hear anything.
Alberich, when you listen at the door, you can kind of hear what sounds like someone talking to themselves or having a one-sided conversation.
I still can't believe they got the wrong one. Just let me go back and fetch the Nevermember fool myself .... please don't tell the boss.
