Twitch tags along with Delmalis and ventures, " Make strong. Make fast. Like big cat friend."

(Sorry, it's been a day)

Meep follows along with Twitch and Delmalis. Jaw agape as he takes in the scope of the shop, Meep will definitely browse the wares on display. "Shaun Gilmore, you say? Fantastic shop you have here. Excellent business model, if you don't mind me saying so. Eliminates those pesky real estate taxes for larger exteriors, that's what got me in the end. Yes, you may have realized, I was once a merchant of magical means myself; the name is Meep the Munificent. These days I stay away from pure sales and stick to helping orphans and stopping Xylophones and the like. ::ooh, that is a nice piece, that:: Just browsing today, I think, but I am curious to see if you have any interesting rings, cloaks, or amulets - I'm always looking to add new pieces of noteworthy utility to my collection." Meep struts around, trying to add gravitas to his high-pitched voice. 

Gilmore almost jumps as Twitch seemingly appears about of nowhere. He does smile at you Meep and get the feeling he's excited about meeting a fellow merchant. "Well I have many things in my shop that might be able to help. Let me see." 

He leads you over to a counter with amulets and other neck jewels. He points to a gold amulet. "As a spellcaster myself, I always find an Amulet of Health helpful. I also have a Necklace of Fireballs, an Animated Shield, various Ioun Stones, and a Circlet of Blasting. I also have an Amulet of the Planes I just got in today." 

He moves over to a section of cloaks. You see familiar cloaks - Cloak of Protection, Cloak of Elven Kind, Cloak of Arachnia.

He turns to Demalis and Twitch. "These would be good for non-spellcasters as well."  

Gilmore brings you to an area titled "Very Dangerous Artifacts." 

"These items I've brought with me from my home of Emon," Gilmore says in a jovial voice. Some of these are already the aforementioned cloaks, they just have foreign symbols. 

He also shows you three specific items. The first is a horn (Horn of Valhalla) that he says "These will summon great past warriors from the past, specifically Wildemount." 

Another is a black bib that drips blood. "This is Butcher's Bib, a powerful item, but messy." The third is an Amulet of the Drunkard. This actually benefits you when you are drinking alcohol." 

There's one more item that Gilmore passes labeled "Experiment." It's a jet-black hooded cloak with three daggers on the back. The edge of the mantle has trimmed feathers." 

 Gilmore looks at you and the cloak. "This is something I've worked on. It's an homage to an old friend of mine. It's powerful but it's in the testing phases. I've made an armor set like it too and the one who owns that set says it's worked fine. I'm hesitant but I think it could be of use." 

"Is there any thing else you want to look at?"

While they go shopping, Sybil will head for Mirt to talk details about the dig site and any other information for it

 Meep is in, soon as the shopping is done. 

Meep is very impressed by the offerings. "Master Gilmore, you have some exquisite pieces in your collection. I'm familiar with the basic premises of many of these items, and I'm quite interested in the Amulet of the Planes, the Amulet of Health, and I'm curious to see which Ioun stones you have for sale, but this cloak you're working on, the tribute to your friend, what does that do?"

Gilmore explains he has all colors of Ioun stones. As for the cloak, it does the following upon attunement

• - +1 to AC
• - Advantage on Death Saving throws
• - As a bonus action, the wearer can grow large, black raven wings. These last for 1 hour and grant a fly speed of 60 feet. They cannot use this ability again until they finish a long rest.

(It's a homebrew item, so I'll have to create it)

Delmalis examines the experimental cloak, "How much for such an untested item?"

Demalis, roll a Persuasion or Insight check.

Twitch, Gilmore hasn't forgotten about you. When you mention "make fast, make strong." He shows you a pair of gauntlets, which are Gauntlets of Ogre Power, and Boots of Speed. 

Insight: 15
Persuasion: 10

Demalis, you sense that Gilmore put a lot of work into the item - after all it was for a dear friend. As you ask the price, he think about it and nods. "I'll take 1,500 gold for it. If something happens to it, you can bring it back and I will fix it."

 Twitch looks at Meep who they have given all their money to previously and makes kitten-eyes.

" I want!"

" I have claws. Can glove and shoe still wear?"

Meep smiles, and says "Of course, Twitch. Master Gilmore, how much for the Amulet of Health, the Gauntlets, and the Boots?"

Delmalis looks it over for a long moment, then shakes his head, "I guess not, maybe another time. How much for the cloak of protection though?" 

After the purchases, he'd head to the Emporium next.

Gilmore moves away from the cloak. "The Cloak of Protection and Gauntlets are 300 each, the Boots and Amulet are 700 each. I'll sell you them all for 1,500 gold if you tell everyone at your tavern where you got your items."

Delmalis nods, "If you're all buying those items, I'm good with that deal." 

(Works out to 200 each for the first two and 550 each for the second two with that deal.)

Meep happily agrees, and proceeds to work out the details with Gilmore to get him the funds (since our stash is being banked, yes? Meep has a great memory, I do not) quickly. His share will be 1300 gp for his and Twitch's items, and Delmalis can pitch in the remaining 200.

Twitch jumps around happily and nuzzles their head against Gilmores legs.

Gilmore twitches a little bit as Twitch nuzzles his legs, but he just pats their head a little awkwardly. "You remind me of a few friends of mine. A big fellow and his little friends." 

Gilmore does work out the details for you to get the money to him. He notes that Sybil made a similar arrangement with him. "Just get me money when your tab is due." As Gilmore says that Meep, you notice a tabaxi woman in the corner looking over documents before eye contact with you for a second then she returns to her reading.
