Gewonnt strikes Eldin with his weird, rubbery, tubes. Eldin gets wrapped in tentacles that slow his actions. (You can't React, at least not to the third hit. no uncanny dodge)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Yeah but since the failed CON save doesn't let me use it to reduce damage of the 3rd hit, I asked if I could instead use it on the 2nd hit.)
Whatever... here's my turn:
Eldin grunts and says, "How long can you keep standing?" He then tries to stab Gewonnt with his Estoc. Hit: 21 Dmg: 11
Not sure if I can use a bonus action. If I can, I'll use it for Dodge
If I can use a bonus action, I'll use it for Insightful Fighting. Insight: 7 (What is up with these terrible insight rolls? Eldin must still be thinking about Grainne. FOCUS MAN!)
Eldin stabs at Gewonnt, but the bird is squirly and avoids the strike.
(No dice changing your reaction, if you'd succeeded the roll you could have reacted to attack 3. If it weren't based on your roll I'd let you change. I'll be surprised if the match is determined by 2 hp. But who knows with those rolls =P . You don't have a Bonus Action due to the Tentacles, but you can make another Con save to end the effect.)
But I also headed out of the fog just aloft wasn't sure how far I could get so I left that part up to bdaddly and I will drink a portion. Edit coming on heal 8
Grianne moves after Polly to the bridge where she takes a deep breath, transforms into a massive Octopus, and wiggles her tentacles at him. She can't get a hold of his slick leather armor.
The Tod takes a blast 16 (from last turn) (save: 14) and moves after his master.
Polly drinks his potion. (And I get the impression something more.)

(if anyone plays MTG it works like the stack. the attack happens and goes on the stack. the reaction triggers and goes on top of the attack in the stack. then the stack resolves top down. If I'm right the events would resolve as " Reaction, Attack, damage, on hit rider". That's how i explain it at least.)

Starting at 5th level, when an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack’s damage against you.
Tentacle Rod:
If you hit a target with all three tentacles, it must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, ... it can't use reactions for 1 minute.
Adjudicating Reaction Timing (DMG):
... Use this rule of thumb: follow whatever timing is specified in the reaction’s description. For example, the opportunity attack and the shield spell are clear about the fact that they can interrupt their triggers. If a reaction has no timing specified, or the timing is unclear, the reaction occurs after its trigger finishes, as in the Ready action.
I've seen this discussed a bit before with Shocking Grasp vs. Uncanny Dodge. I don't see any reason the presence of the save should change the result.
