OCC what sort of cover is available in the valley?
”Be better t’ stay doon low I bes thinkin’” Vor says. “If we be staying t’ cover it’d bes a whole lot better than wandering round in the tunnels ’r running along open ridge tops. The one bes worm food t’other bes dragon food, p’tentially that t’is.”
"The valley does sound better than running around a bunch of tunnels we don't know. But we should hurry. The longer we wait the higher chance of the dragon deciding to come looking for us."
Tegid also weighs in "down in the valley under cover sounds like a good option. Not all of us can see in the dark remember. But yes, if we work out what we do sooner then later. However if we decide to do the tunnels I'll go along"I

Seeing a consensus building, Duradin nods and grabs his pack. Tightening his belt, he approaches the cleverly disguised exit to the old dwarf watchtower, carved into the rock. He checks the skies with a suspicious eye. (Perception: 8) Should he see nothing immediately threatening, he will go ahead and start leading the way back into the densest part of the valley, pushing onward at a slowed, but steady and stealthier pace.

Ash nods to Duradin. Going through the same motions, tightening straps and making sure nothing makes undue noise. He takes both weapons out and moves to the side following the group. He will try to remain hidden when he can.
You journey for a while longer. The detour and slower pace extended your travel a bit, so you are still roughly an hour away when it would normally be time to camp. Do you stop and rest, or push onward?
Vor will be continuously moving from shadowed places, such as under trees or high brush, always keep a weather eye out at the sky but paying close attention to what is going on around the party: What are the natural sounds (crickets, birds, sigh of the wind, etc.); what sorts of smells are there? Whence comes the breeze if there is any?
Perception 8 Nature 10
So it is almost as though all were on a stroll to a pleasant picnic spot, except for the known quantity of dragons being somewhere around; hopefully not behind that rock or up in that tree.

It's a fairly normal mountain environment, nothing seems off. A light breeze blows from the east occasionally throughout the day, but it is otherwise a perfect day. It's a bit cool, but that's to be expected in spring.

"We push on - I'll not risk a night out here in the open. Some dragons can see well by starlight. Stay close, and try to stay on the path I take."
With dwarvish darkvision, Duradin forges a path forward, trying to keep to shadows and cover while making little noise.
Ash stays hidden and follows the others, keeping to the shadows as much as he can.
He nods to himself when he hears everyone keen on pushing on.
Tegid shrugs, and continues, trying to pick out the path in the gloom.
