I wanted to double-check if I'm reading this correctly: Rapid Strikes lets me forgo having advantage on one attack roll to make an extra attack as part of the same action. Fighting Spirit gives me advantage on all attacks that I make until the end of my current turn. So does that mean that if I have three attacks normally and use Fighting Spirit and Adrenaline Rush, I can forgo Advantage on one attack, letting me make six attacks with Advantage and one without?

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
You can only take advantage of Rapid Strikes once per turn... so even if you have 3 attacks and have advantage on all 3 attacks, you only get to use Rapid Strikes to replace on of those Advantage attacks with two regular attacks, so it bumps you from 3 attacks per round to 4, two of them at advantage.
Yeah, but Rapid Strikes doesn't stop me from using Action Surge to take another attack action. My question is that I only have to drop advantage on a single attack to use Rapid Strikes but can still get advantage on every other attack I make (including the extra one from Rapid Strikes)?

Oh sorry, I misunderstood because you accidentally said "Adrenaline Rush" instead of "Action Surge" and I wasn't sure what that was. But anyway, Rapid Strikes only applies to a single roll... but now that you've got me reading more closely, Rapid Strikes only states that the initial roll loses Advantage but doesn't state that the additional attack from Rapid Strikes cannot gain the benefits of Advantage... so unless I'm drastically misreading, I think you're 100% correct, With Rapid Strikes and Action Surge with Fighting Spirit, you get 6 Advantage attacks and one additional attack without advantage.

That's how my DM ruled it too. It's a strong feature, but it's hardly a flexible one. Some people will probably feel it's overpowered, but we played up to level 20 and I think it was good. (I wasn't the Samurai player.) And anyway, I think that's the only correct way to read it as written.

With an attack of opportunity can you use Rapid Strike to gain an extra attack with advantage? How would Sentinel work with Rapid Strike?
Retired but not quite dead yet!
Rapid Strike says it only works when you take the Attack action on your turn.
