I was wandering if a monk takes the dragon aspect archetype and gains the draconic strikes ability and unlocks the ki empowered strikes at LVL 6
Does that mean that for example an unarmed strike with frost damage counts as being able to overcome frost resistance/immunity or does it still only overcome bludgeoning, slashing and piercing resistance/immunity..
Yeah, "magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance and immunity," does not mean it ignores resistance and immunity , it just means it count as magical to overcome resistance to "non-magical" damage.

I don't think that any monsters currently written have resistance to any non-magical damage types except bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing.
