With the proficiency bonus how does it work with magic missel spell. Crawford said previously in 2018 I believe the damage was flat. But is that still true and what about magic missel. If I fire 4 missles per raw I role 1d4 for all 4. Is the bonus added to one and not all?
So a 1st level spell with a 4th level goblin with a +3proficiency bonus. 1d4+1+3 and then 2 more at 1d4+1although I only re damage once seems wrong. I'd think (1d4+1+3)3?
Magic missile fires 3 missiles at level 1. You roll 1d4+1 and each missile does that number of damage. If you roll a 4 then each missile does 5 damage for a total of 15 damage. Fury of the small allows you to add your proficiency once which would be +2 at level 4 for a total of 17 damage. If you fire a missile at 3 targets then one would take 7 damage, and the other two would take 5 damage each.

The new Goblin damage is per spell and target creature and per turn, so with Magic Missile, you'd deal the damage once per target per cast per turn.
So if you cast the baseline spell with 3 darts and hit 3 creatures, you could consume up to 3 uses of the ability, one per creature, to deal that creature your PB in damage.
Wouldn't this be using the ability more than once on the turn?

Yes. I missed that line! Thanks for pointing it out, I'll edit my post.

No it’s not. They only changed the number of uses per long rest and the amount of damage. They didn’t change how many times you can use it in a turn.
Beardsinger is correct. I misread it when I did my own post. So it's once per turn. Even if you use something like scorching ray or eldritch blast with multiple attack rolls, or do a quickened spell to do two different spells etc, it's still only using one charge on one creature per turn.
Fury of the Small. When you damage a creature with an attack or a spell and the creature’s size is larger than yours, you can cause the attack or spell to deal extra damage to the creature. The extra damage equals your proficiency bonus.
You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest, and you can use it no more than once per turn.
