I believe I understand how to calculate passive scores, simply 10 + Modifiers for that ability (Plus an additional 5 if you have advantage.)
With that being the case, I'm a little confused by the calculations DnDBeyond has done on my character sheet.
This is a Pallid Elf so she has Advantage on Investigation and Insight by default and the Observant Feat. I see that the Passive Perception is correct, but by going by the calculation above shouldn't Passive Investigation = 19 and Passive Insight = 20?
Yes, you're correct. This isn't a rules issue, you have a bug. You should report it over in the bugs forum.
EDIT: Your Passive Investigation is correct: 10 + 4 (expertise) + 5 (Incisive Sense) + 5 (Observant) = 24. Only your Passive Insight is bugged.
The character build you linked is illegal, as you can't be a multiclassed sorcerer with Cha 10. Not sure how that happened, might be worth reporting as well.
Thank you both! I overlooked the fact that Observant affects both Perception and Investigation so that part was my bad, I will definitely look into reporting a bug for the Insight problem!
The Multiclass for sorcerer is technically illegal yes, but you can disable prerequisites for Multiclassing and I did that for this character. My DM has allowed me to use Wisdom for my Ability Score since Wisdom is "the power of the mind" so it fits the Aberrant Mind theme. But thank you for looking out, I admit it was originally an oversight on my part that we retconned :D
Sorry, yes I did. I just put what the score should be for Insight into "Override passive insight" so it appears to be fixed on the sheet. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to fix this issue in a proper way at the moment as DnDBeyond does not have the same functionality for calculating Passive Insight as it does for Passive Perception and Investigation.

Passive investigation: 10 + 2(prof. bonus) + 2(expertise) + 0(int modifier) + 5(observant) + 5(advantage) = 24
This is what I see on your character sheet so that checks out.
Passive Insight: 10 + 2(prof. bonus) + 3(wis modifier) + 5(advantage) = 20
Your character sheet list a 15 for your passive Insight and this is wrong. Might be worth reporting in the Bugs & Support forum.

Did you change anything? Because what I see now your passive scores are 22/24/20 which is exactly what they should be.
