Hi, I'm not sure, which subforum I should post - here or homebrew. I have permission from my DM to create sidekick for my goblin artificer. It will be warforged warrior. But there is no statblock for warforged with 1/2 or less challenge rating. There is also no for dwarfs, elves or aasimar and tabaxi (or I didn't see them), but even on illustration we have Tortle or firbolg sidekick. Is there any rule to create sidekick suing playable race or to create their statblock?
You could start with a basic commoner, then add the Warforged's race features and the Sidekick class levels. That's the most balanced option I can think of.
I'd pick a random humanoid "monster" stat block, like a Thug, and reskin it as a Warforged. For example, I would take away the Thug's pack tactics and replace it with Warforged Constructed Resilience, Sentry's Rest and Specialised Design features. It's homebrew but should balance just fine.
